I put the Banks Ram Air, Pedal Monster, and Derringer on my '19 F-450 as well. I'm getting an extra 1.5-2mpg running empty both on the highway and around town. Hard to tell what the improvement is with the trailers since the loads and conditions vary so much. Mileage didn't improve with the Pedal Monster and Derringer (maybe even got worse because it made it so much more fun!). Usually run the Derringer on stock, unless towing heavy, up grades, or getting on to the highway. The switch on the fly programming is nice because the truck has plenty of power for towing under most conditions, and gets the best mpg's that way. I dial it up during hill climbs, getting on the highway, etc., then dial it down to stock for the flats. Didn't change the sound much on mine, compared to other intakes I've put on other vehicles. If you're only going to add one of these things, I'd recommend the Ram Air as the first upgrade! I also put the Derringer gages in their A-Pillar pod. Very nice clean install that way.
Nice upgrade Ty. I have an S&B CAI on my '17, which does have additional inlets on rear of CAI box and open side panen, to compliment the intake passage similar to Banks Ram port. Need to still do something with the hot-side pipe, but that's another topic. Thanks for sharing.
it isnt ram air if pressurized air can escape. its just an open box with larger surface area filter. also, the hood covers the incoming air stream, defeating the ram portion itself. if the reason the check engine light comes on does not reoccur for many cycles they self clear, on most vehicles. you purchased an Engine Sound Kit.
That is and sound excellent. Well done. If you extra horse power, why not and cheaper in fuel. Good for you. Thank you for sharing. I Love that you share everything. I find it very interesting. Greetings from Doris in Australia 🙂
We have engineered the intake for the ‘17-19 so you do not have to relocate the battery, and we beat every competitors mass air flow! 👉 bankspower.com/products/cold-air-intake-41890-2017-2019-ford-f250-f350-f450-6-7l-power-stroke
Couple questions. Have you had any issues yet with your cold side pipe bursting? Second, have you had any issues with plowing and snow getting into the air box, I know Ford sells a kit to prevent water/snow getting into the stock air box. Thanks
What power level do you commonly use and how did I the air intake affect it. I hav his stuff on my GMC Dually and run it on level 3 and every so often I throw a code…
If you measure your distance in kilometers and your speedometer registers in kilometers, why isn't your fuel economy called kilometage instead of mileage ? 😏😉
Wowz in Car speak all I can say is that is sexy! It’s a shame you have to cover something up so pretty and not let the world look at it. Gives off a purring sound like a cat that’s had a satisfying bowl of milk, yep I’d call it more of a purr than anything else and I’m not a cat person.
Tyson, thank you for the thorough review. We’re thrilled you like the Ram-Air intake. Stay tuned for more parts for new F250-550s.
We are very excited!!!
Can't wait to order as soon as you get CA CARB compliance.
The window to the air filter is _sweet._

No shame. I do the same. Install my toys and expensive bits for my stuff out far away from home so my wife doesn’t find out 😂
Hahaha but you don’t record it
Same here😂😂😂
Cmon people let’s get him to 100k subscribers. Great channel
I was considering s&b. after watching this, a TOTAL FAN-BOY of BANK$.. Thanks for putting me on g 👍🏼
I like Banks... no cutting corners
Good video brother. Man I could listen to that sound all day.
My Banks kit was delivered today. Going to see Arod on Saturday. Banks intake, H&S hot and cold pipes!
Hi Bud,
I love it!! Looks clean institution yet it will make your truck perform top-notch.
It definitely sounds different...Sweet!
Love to hear that you like the Banks equipment. I’ve been looking at there stuff for my 2021 3500 Ram. Thanks for the video.

I just put this on my 22, the thing growls now especially with the exhaust brake coming down a hill

Always a good day when new parts make your truck run better !
Was that a washable K&N air filter I saw there ?
I've got the S&B and have a snorkel that goes down behind the front bumper.

I would totally get a pre filter. I clean mine every 2-3 months.
What altitude are you at there? In Colorado, I’ve always justified a CAI with our thin air, Banks is the best 🖐🏼👇🏼
8:53 poor fly lol
Cool video man you pack on the kms wow I thought I was bad 👎 4 years 105,000km I just on the pedal commander I should've done that 4 years old ago lol
Mine is in its way in the mail. Can’t wait!
wish you could hear the turbo more .. is it just the video or is the turbo still pretty quiet?
Good work on your trucks. Very nice trucks. 😊
Congrats on the bank’s equipment.
Do you still have the factory c.c.v. on your truck? You definitely need to check out s.p.e c.c.v reroute kit with internal catchcan
Tyson 🙌🙌🙌🙌
I got the one on my 2018 king solid man
Very nice! I wonder how the install would be for the ‘17-19 models w the battery position. 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼
That would be a different part

@@bankspower now that’s excellent! I wasn’t a fan of relocating it so I just never purchased anything. Thx!
Did I see flys get sucked in when you started it up 🙂
I'm sold!
The CEL has been on since you got this rig ? Lol 😂 it’s an added option .

None of either but I typically swap out the cold side pipe
Ty, with all of the forestry work you have you ever come across bigfoot?
Hahaha maybe…
Some prices would make your channel much more interesting.
What power level do you commonly use and how did I the air intake affect it. I hav his stuff on my GMC Dually and run it on level 3 and every so often I throw a code…
Sport 3
Just curious why your check engine light is on? Was that caused by the new air intake?
No
Are you gonna add a monster exhaust from banks to complete the deal?
Good Chance yup
How will it be when it rains or loads of water splashing up the front of the truck the intake is right where it will suck it in ?
They all work the same way. No issue with water getting in at all.
Sounds good
Can you hear the turbo sound ?
Oh yeah
Sick!
Good stuff.....
How much louder inside do you think this made, thanks
So much better
What tires do you have on your 19.5?
Michelin xde2+
How do you like them? They a decent heavy duty all terrain?
@@burkelatimer1845 best tires I have owned
Don’t you have to re flash your computer ?
No
Still a loudest thing was a canary in that coal mine
Oh come on......don't stop there ! get some propane injection ! :) Have fun, be well !
If you measure your distance in kilometers and your speedometer registers in kilometers, why isn't your fuel economy called kilometage instead of mileage ? 😏😉
Congratulations 👏
Wow that's a awesome sounding Truck.
BUT it's not a 🐏 RAM, maybe 1 day you're going to get your dream HD 😂😆😂.
Save that diesel engine.... rip off that EPA BS! Delete..... straight pipe and you'll be super happy and so will that 450
