As said in the modern animated classic “Our Drawings”; AI will never replace human art. In all seriousness, I really don’t know why people think this is a great idea to have robots make something that people create with a passion. No matter how advanced technology can get they will never have that unique perspective that people can give to a certain movie or tv show, never.
Think the best way to use AI is for very very complex tasks. But yeah don't think multi-billion or trillion dollar worth companies would ever want to pay fair wages or even salaries for the people they hire.
Me before Sora AI video: I'm gonna have a bright future in the film industry! Me upon seeing the Sora AI video: cue me having a panic attack about my future
Definitely not. You’re comparing the essence of filmmaking itself to a tool. Mathematicians are still relevant, calculators simply speed one aspect. People aren’t against technology advancement or more efficient tools, AI is threatening to replace a full on medium but tbh just by how most people shit on the majority of films studios put out just based on franchise hype, real art based in human creativity will still be valued more

What if it could be though? As someone who's passionate about screenwriting, I don't really see how else I could make my movies going forward. It's otherwise just too expensive to do the kinds of things I want to do. Maybe I'm overly optimistic about this, but I imagine a version of Ai a few years down the road where it's like a mini movie studio where you could control every little aspect of the "film". You could feed it your storyboards, control the lighting, the blocking, etc. Maybe even make 3D versions of the sets and experiment with angles, textures and colors. Maybe hire real voice actors to add a human element, write a great score and customized sound design. I get that when most people think of AI movies, they imagine someone just asking AI to shit out something for them, without thought or care. But I don't see why that needs to always be the case. Do I think every AI movie will be an artpiece with passion, and a vision, and personal meaning behind it? No, especially when they're so easy to make. But I don't see why an AI movie cannot be art if someone really decides to do the work to make it truly something special. I'd argue that a lot of traditionally created Hollywood movies around these days aren't art anyway. When photography was first invented people thought it would destroy the artist. Why would you paint something when you could just take a picture in an instant? But now we see that photography is its own separate, yet relevant artform all its own, and people still paint portraits. Just as there are kids taking cringy pictures of themselves for Instagram doesn't mean that there aren't real photographers out there using cameras to create real art. AI is just another tool at our disposal, it's what we make of it.
Also AI isn't just typing and getting a prompt. It takes a looooooong time fine tuning, using IP-Adaptors, ControlNets and soooo much more to get the exact image in your head. Until man and machine share a mind, the context translation of your vision will never be accurate. You have to create it yourself BUT using a sh*t ton of tools, we are making it happen. So AI is NOT what you or others think
There are still going to be real artists and filmmakers around, it's just that the Internet and entertainment is going to be flooded with Ai generated garbage. It's already happening now. A lot of people are probably going to lose their jobs as well unfortunately.....
@Vilik711one it’s gonna put artists out of their jobs, with can hurt the economy. Two, ai doesn’t mean quality. It will look robotic as AI has no emotion. I mean look at AI deepfake
@Vilik711 Even ignoring the discourse around AI, they can barely make good movies with an actual team and time, I'm supposed to believe movies made even faster with less work are somehow going to be good?
So many people are going to lose jobs. So many people are never going to be able to enter the industry and make a living as studios will opt to use AI for special fx or for scripts, and heck give it 20 years and voice actors and just actors in general would be obsolete. And AI will never get banned if the super rich keep relying on it.
I think AI will always be used as a tool, never as a replacement. They said telephones were going to end the postal service. They said the Internet was going to end libraries/books. They said Amazon was going to end Walmart/Target. They said streaming services would end Cinemas. They said Google Search was going to end teachers/school. Now they're saying this or that is going to end because of AI. This happens with every big innovation. Things will change, yes. Some jobs will be changed, and a few lost, yes. But in the end, this will only enhance our lives and make professional work a little easier by adding this latest tool to it. I use ChatGPT for my two companies on a weekly basis. Did it replace anyone? No, I actually have to give it specific instructions and information for it to give me what I need done: email template, services agreement, client contract, username variations, code for a website plugin, etc. It saves me time but if I didn't give it the ingredients it would spit out something generic or riddled with mistakes. These are industry tools. They will not replace industries. Those that try to use these tools as replacements will have similar experiences to those who have tried in the past, like with the volume screen, CGI, or the writers strike. People notice and lash out to correct it. That's why Disney is changing course, and why the writers strike was successful. We always self regulate this stuff, together.
The sad thing about this is that it really will put a lot of people out of work. Why pay someone to do your work for you when you can only pay a subscription and have all your work done for you in less than 24 hours? It started with AI art. Why pay a commissioner $30 for an art that may be done in about 24 hours, depending on their schedule, when they can simply just input a prompt in an AI generator, and get what they want in a minute? Even NovelAI has become scarier now because all you need to do is scribble a low-quality drawing without trying and it will turn it into a masterpiece. So with an ai generator that can generate any video you want, it will also make humans lazier. Cinema will no longer be needed, content creators will have fierce competition, etc. Imagine an AI generator being capable of literally taking EVERY word from a novel and turning it into a blockbuster level film?! Sure, it may take probably a week to generate, but compare this to the length it would take to film a movie, which is a couple months, that's nothing. Then you have ChatGPT too. Just input a story prompt, extend it to make it lengthy, then input the story into the video generator, and now you have your movie. And the worst part about all this is that there is no stopping it. There are millions of people who are too lazy to actually try so they will defend AI to their last breath if it makes their lives easier.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND AN OUTRIGHT DISGRACE TO ACTUAL FILMMAKERS AND ARTISTS, I SWEAR WHEN REGULATON COMES, AI BROS WILL BE SINGING A VERY DIFFERENT TUNE. IF NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT THIS THIS WILL COST PEOPLE MONEY ADN JOBS...PEROID

AI is a very touchy subject, because its more than just your opinion on something. AI brings up a MORAL question that I don't believe many are ready to answer yet. I personally don't WANT AI to be only accessible by global elites/million dollar companies if i just want to fuck around on ChatGPT for 10 mins, but i also dont want every form of media to have it. its a fine line to draw, if you let the companies be the only people with access to it than how do we know what we are fed by them is or isnt AI? Im perfectly fine with its implementation as long as its either sparingly, or its being used as a genuine tool AFTER human input (your own art of some kind) is used. Fully AI generated projects are where i tend to draw my line depending on the context, but again AI is such a moral ambiguous topic. Love to see how mindsets on it adapt or change over the years.
I can imagine someone creating an AI clip of the next Avengers movie and it looking super realistic. Tons of people are going to see that and actually believe that it's a real clip.
Man, I'm leaning the ways into film making and being inspired by the best of the best. Tarantino, Nolan and all these amazing filmmakers and seeing this really just... It frustrates me, You have a great point where we are soon going to just type in whatever we want and then it makes it but it just looses the fun in film. Knowing how hard it is making one its makes it more interesting to watch (at least that's my point) and if every movie is now being made by some dumb AI, What will happen to the film making job. For the time I've spent learning film-making, I absolutely love it. I love the art and the passion people have for movies and getting their storys out in the world because I'm trying the same thing, Just typing in a text where it says some dumb things like you said "spiderman vs batman bla bla bla with a cameo of my little pony" it really just don't feel right. Even for me I'm really young (16 turning 17 this year) and I'm not on board with this one... before i get carried away i just want to say this is stupid honestly.

It looks like the only way I could ever make the ideas in my head real. Yes, you can hire talented people to make stuff for you, but you can only do that if you have lots of money already.
As a younger adult this is a little taboo. I’m only 20 but even I think Ai is movies doesn’t belong. The best part of cinema is the…forgive me…cinematography. I’m sure Ai could create beautiful shots but the work that VFX artist do to better shots their given will be gone. That touch of human/human error would be missing. On the other hand I don’t want a matrix issue happening so perhaps we just let ai do it’s thing😂
I think there's probably instances where this can be used responsibly and in small doses. But the moment they use it enne masse to replace an entire department and maybe they hire prompters instead of the specific artists and things, ooooof, that's gonna be nasty.
The more I learn about AI the more I hate it. I dont want to live in a future where I cant tell the difference between real, human-made art and soulless garbage done by a robot. Whats worse is that people will be using it to hurt others. Its a classic example of humanity playing with something they shouldnt.
I think people are unfortunately going to stop caring. Don't get me wrong. There will always be an appetite for cinema, but the popularity of it will go down. Instead of looking forward to new movies people will turn to the past content. Studios will say a movie is AI free but as the consumer you'll never truly know.
Someone made a Supergirl movie trailer based on James Gunns DCU.. it's called- SUPERGIRL: Woman of Tomorrow - Teaser Trailer | AI Animation Style | StryderHD Concept
I mentioned this in a super chat before; With how Sora can produce videos this super realistic making it disturbing and uncanny, its no doubt going to be tampered by very disgusting people to generate really horrific and disturbing videos and is why everyone especially me would wish it should illegal. Especially after the Taylor Swift AI stuff that was going around ☠️ which she's currently taking legal actions on getting that crap taken down.
No matter what ai parody doesn't get a pass the money made should go to whoever owns the I.Ps taken and used cause then the world would bypass copyright by "parody"
If I'm being honest they shouldn't completely use A.I but i think they should switch some more complex shots with A.I cuz all the time our complaints are the CG in that movie was garbage.
If you are an actor and they just use your likeness to make an AI version of you for movies and stuff while you sit at home, then you are not an actor.
The way the world is in a business sense, companies will want to use AI asap. Saves so much money and the proof is there in quality. It easily fools the human eye (me and you) into thinking it's man made and on a great level. But then there is no stopping and it will end far too many jobs, make life look perfect and cause us humans such terrible mental health. That's why I feel there should be an agreement worldwide to have AI only at a certain level. Although we know some countries will never abide by them. Certainly a worrying thing for the future, feel for the future generations.
AI is the future of cinema and that's a great thing!! Means better movies because they'll be cheaper to make! What's the point of a movie/tv show. To entertain you Chris! C'mon I thought out of all people you would understand because you're young. The project my team is working on have become soooo much better now that we have certain AI tools. We don't have money to blow and it's helping us. Remember humans with AI will replace humans without AI. Us artist are using AI to better our workflow, just as we used Photoshop, I remember everyone said Photoshop is going to replace real artist. 😥😥😥very sad world when people are now attacking artist.
The future will be us all with no attention span thanks to tik tok and more entitled, spoiled than ever, being used to the instant gratification of Ai generated everything. We will own nothing and be happy.
ha ha now you have more movies to rant on when that happens. Imagine every version of movies that youtubers visualize on their mind. Multiverse of bootleg movies recreation 😂

Dragonball Evolution feels like an AI movie.
Sadly someone made it
Man just wait tell StarTreks Holodeck comes to life man I’d love to live to see the day of That Debates.
NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll admit that was better then madam web
I mentioned this in a super chat before;
With how Sora can produce videos this super realistic making it disturbing and uncanny, its no doubt going to be tampered by very disgusting people to generate really horrific and disturbing videos and is why everyone especially me would wish it should illegal. Especially after the Taylor Swift AI stuff that was going around ☠️ which she's currently taking legal actions on getting that crap taken down.
Ai won't need actors
No matter what ai parody doesn't get a pass the money made should go to whoever owns the I.Ps taken and used cause then the world would bypass copyright by "parody"
AI can be good as a tool to help artists but shouldn't be relied on to do all the work
Nah I truly believe AI generated movies would be 100% shit they lack emotion
If I'm being honest they shouldn't completely use A.I but i think they should switch some more complex shots with A.I cuz all the time our complaints are the CG in that movie was garbage.
Any thought can be generated by ai which is crazy
If you are an actor and they just use your likeness to make an AI version of you for movies and stuff while you sit at home, then you are not an actor.
NICE MY FRIEND AND YOU SOUND LIKE ADAM SANDLER
AI will make better Marvel movies than Sony
3:19 😂😂
I think sora AI should be illegal.
I wonder if we’ll ever see 3c collabs
They were using Ai on brightburn 2 which I’m not happy with I don’t think James Gunn would approve but whatever
The future will be us all with no attention span thanks to tik tok and more entitled, spoiled than ever, being used to the instant gratification of Ai generated everything. We will own nothing and be happy.
Petition to add Crapted to the dictionary

ha ha now you have more movies to rant on when that happens. Imagine every version of movies that youtubers visualize on their mind. Multiverse of bootleg movies recreation 😂
Have a good day, Poopy Bear
3c films…. You not dramatic!!!!
AI is lot good for film. It doesn’t just matter about Tyler Perry the whole cinema industry. At the end of the day film is always better when shot practically.
"AI Artists".... Ya, what a joke.
I'm gonna try to make an ai movie
Whatever happen to using your imagination , and passion to create stuff
Is sora going to own movies cause it produces ai movies
Did you guys not see an ai editing a video? It's Insane
well basically how bear to become the terminator robot just like how arnold movie francise of terminator (film) especially we have anime terminator on netflix yeah it still coming soon so yeah
Black Mirror
Madame web was the first haha
I mean as long as people don’t pay to go see the AI movies then they won’t use it, a boycott would have to happen
But with the way the technology is advancing, in about 2-5 years, we probably won't be able to tell it's AI without it being disclosed to us beforehand.
So how could you trust any movie not to be AI generated?
@@AnnaDeArtist420 There’s no way a studio can keep that a secret, someone would leak something, and at that point u boycott the company until they announce they’re going back to using real people
