Wow, absolutely brilliant 👏👏👏. Pure natural talent. Love what you did with the chords, throwing a bit of extra spice in really pushes this into the stratosphere. Amazing interpretation ❤
Request: A duet of you and Jess singing "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow." It's a song that couldn't be any more appropriate during these times. Anxiety is a common emotion to feel these days considering the world moves so fast, as you amd Jess are aware. The two of you performing it would give us, as your fans, every reason to be mindful of you and the rest of ROFM because there's no doubt of all of you traveling the wor;d over this year. We know you will, but why not motivate is to get us ready? There's no reason to expect the group not to. Of course they'll be going all over the UK and elsewhere. All of us were born ready to see the band perform, and there's no question about that. Sophie, you are my metaphorical cup of tea every Sunday. For now, if Sundays are hard, you lift my spirits tp the sky. I hope you continue to do so. Winter, spring, summer or fall, you've got a friend -- always, because you still kept your spirits up the only time I ever heard of you being sick. Sure, I was sad when you said that but I appreciate your high spirits -- always. I am deeply grateful for them. Much love once agaun, Jason
And today, I won't stop thinking about tomorrow because it'll be Sunday and you will peform another song. The suspense kills me every Saturday, but as they say, good things come to those who wait, I look forward to approximately 7 and 1/2 hours from now.
sophie, this type of beautiful song fits you so perfectly, and you literally knocked it out of the park. outstanding!!!!! thank you for performing for all of us.And taking time for us. because you dont have to. ive also enjoyed watching behind the scenes too in rfm. you and jess are incredible together.i grew up on fleetwood mac. its been so much fun just watching you have fun.im so happy for you. you were born to perform. no one has the energy you have. jess too. ok... could i request more music? you said you needed more request. alright, in 1973 when i was 16 years old these were the very first songs that i really fell in love with.... and here it is 50 years later and im still just as in love with these songs now as i was back then . and they are........ my request is and would you consider playing and singing Todd Rundgren {hello its me}. Or Todd Rundgren { can we still be friends}.Or both?those songs were written by Todd Rundgren from a broken heart he had when his girlfriend in high school broke up with him. . no pressure if you cant. but thank you so much for being you.thanks for letting us and me be a part of it. keep having fun and staying crazy. never change. ron b.
That was just lovely. I do hope to see you and your RFM mates back in Finland sometime soon. I guess I'll have to settle for Springsteen while waiting ;) All the best to you!
I will, hopefully you will do a meet and greet after the show on 21/5 The track was a Justin hayward & Moody Blues esc. And features on the War of the Worlds album.
I have three more requests for you, Sophie. Two out of the three of them were sung by practically the same artist and they are both what I consider beautiful. The third one though, is soulful, and I'm sure you know it by heart. They all fit your style. They are: 1. Slip Slidin' Away by Paul Simon 2. Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel 3. I Feel the Earth Move by Carole King Good luck practicing and performing them!
Yes! Sophie, you did it! You performed one of my requested songs! Obviously, your range is more like Carole King;s than James Taylor's, but James knows that "a helping hand" always gives you "some love and care." But your version has just as much heart and soul as the other two. Between theirs and your version, I cannot possibly rank them. That was fantastic! What else can I sau except, "Sophie! Sophie!" If only you could magically appear in front of me. Hopefully, Rumours comes to Western Washington later this year, and I can make my dreams about you realities. That would make my day!
Such natural piano fluidity. Rikki Lee Jones mellow stuff would be neat to hear you try. Night Train for instance. This Carole King version I listened to entirely and I am honest enough to say I skip full versions often. When good, I remain patient, and in this case, I am pleased I did.
Jess and Sophie covering I say a little prayer by Aretha Franklin might sound really good. Live version would need two vocalists? Also, Slow by Rumer gets my vote... oh and 1000 years by christina perri might work
Slow gets my vote. First time I heard that song I was convinced that Karen Carpenter was on lead vocals. Rumer's voice sounds similar to Karen's at some points in that song. Must be the harmonies?
@@SophieWorsley yes you do.... Maybe some Corrs covers would work for you. Runaway, queen of hollywood 0, Forgiven not Forgotten or So Young could work
How about…. I post a video every Sunday? 😊
Yes please 😘
Sounds great Sophie, the idea and the rendition

People are loving Christina Perri!!! Looking good. I absolutely love Aretha, and yes it would work so well with Jess! Great idea

Great version 👏
How about a cover of Faith’s Song by Amy Wadge, or Slow by Rumer or maybe A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton?
