This is my new go to interior cleaner and wax. Just did the interior of my test vehicle. A 15 year old Ford Taurus SE with cloth interior and plastic everywhere. Used Mothers interior mist. I left the windows down. During brief shower and notice the plastic parts had a watered down spotty appereance. So I cleaned the surfaces with APC cleaner then applied. The protect All from the RV section at Wal-Mart. 9.97 for 16 oz's. It looked great and with the matte finish. You talked about. Great product! Now the price will go up. But this worked on door jams too. Need to find a waterless cleaner for the jams. Gunk has built up over the years. Need a round brush and some APC cleaner to get the job done right. Quaility vs speed. That's how you make money. Shawn
As a 30 year detailer it always seems to amaze me how we come across products that we find works better than products that we've used for years. This seems to a Do It all product which I love. Thanks for sharing.
Scott,I am a sub 60yo have been taking care of family and friends vehicles since I was 13.I am on SSD and wanted to do something to supplement my income,I came across you on YT and was inspired.I watched nearly all your vids and decided to start a service. I filed a business license here in Sequim WA for the upper Olympic Peninsula, the name of my business is Sweet Ride mobile automotive wash and detail services. I want to thank you for this and all your tips. My business will be up and running in September. I am teaching my grandsons what I learn as well and they love to make cars clean and shiny as much as I do and this is just one more skill they can learn. Once again I thank you and God for this opportunity. Please keep teaching and giving us valuable tips... Peace to you and your house . H C Holbert
I’m so glad to hear that you give Protect All a thumbs up. I’ve been using it for years and I love it. It’s definitely a product worthy of shelf space. It has been reformulated and improved on a lot since I started using it. It was like lemon pledge (without the lemon) when I stared using it on my motorcycle back in the 90’s. I say lemon pledge because that was actually what I used on my own bike before I got a job in a shop. I don’t know why, but it actually worked really well. Just don’t use it on your seat or you’ll slide off.
Super Product - have been using it since '05. I use it on an RV, the body, windows, inside on the wood, vinyl....it don't get any better for this old man.
Been using it on my RVs for over 20 years. Inside and out. One product does it all. With the UV inhibitors it preserve vinyl graphics almost indefinitely. Prevents them from fading, shrinking and cracking.
Scott you are the best. I am buying this immediately, i drive for uber and the back panels get scuffed up. I also using 10ph soap and meguiers can spray finish, on a clean surface. Just awsome, thank you so much.
Scott I was using this stuff 25 years ago on my Sea Doo's and it was amazing on fiberglass as well. One product could do all areas including the trim, seats and gauges it is a great product.
Scott gives you no bull, honest advice on how to get good results with effective products and techniques they are usually overlooked. It might not be the most flamboyant route, but it will save money and time.
I & friends have used this for years on our motorcycles. It's a good product. When we apply to paint we apply to our cloth as it can blotch if applied direct to paint.
Scott, thank you for all your content. I’ve developed a great interest on detailing all my vehicles and I’m pleased with the results based on your instructional videos. I highly trust your judgement and advice. I have, in my “arsenal”, both the 303 Protectant and ProtectAll. Watching and learning all the way in Guam, USA!
1st heard about this product over 20 yrs ago while owning an RV. Talk about something being considered an all-purpose product. I used it to protect tires, rubber gaskets, seals, fiberglass exterior, countertops, rubber roofs. Great product.
Scott, have you tried Brillianize? I use it on my glasses, cell phones, TV screen, computer screens, and dash instrument panels. It can be used on head/taillight lenses. Even the body if you so desire. Usually carried in motorcycle and plastic shops. Or from their website.
I do Love this product and it does work great on my whole car, goes on easy, leaves nice shine and water beading after rain, my only pet peeve and its Not with the actual product , but with the inferior spray bottles, I did not just get a bad one but each time I purchased it the spray bottle fell apart. I now buy the gallon size, its cheaper that way anyway, and put the product in my own spray bottle. Thanks for a great review.
Watched your video when you published it. Ordered some Protect-All and used it on my fiberglass/acrylic (I don't know what it is made from) bath tub enclosure and wow. Amazing indeed. Thanks for being such a wealth of knowledge.
I’m still trying to figure out how you get thumbs down on these videos lol. Oh well. You have a ton of great info and i learn a ton from you. I’m also a huge SuperClean fan because of you! I’ve been working with the vp of marketing Jill and their the most friendly company along with a great product.
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing I live next to a W-Mart so I am gonna run over there and check it out! Be nice to have something that does all that work!
Well I was at Walmart today, picked up a bottle and I don’t know if you’ve tried it on paint but I think I’m in love. So easy to use and the super glossy slick finish was pretty darn good I’d say. Used a foam hard applicator to apply it to all parts of the outside, paint, plastic, chrome and it did an excellent job on everything. Stuff doesn’t leave any residue and it goes a very long way, used very little product. Only little minor negative was the smell, but no biggie. Great stuff!
Awesome thank you for the tip! I’ve used Autoglym vinyl & rubber care from Canadian Tire with similar results (obviously not on paint!) but now I’ll have to check this stuff out. Thanks again!
really appreciate you doing such great videos my favorite detailing UA-cam channel I a starting my own detailing Business your channel very informative and well put together
Scott, a little while back you recommended another use for Meguiars Fast Finish, you showed using it for all interior surfaces. Well I tried it, and it works really nice. My cars interior looks & keeps great using just the Fast Finish. So I'll be sticking with it. Thanks though for the tip.
Hello dear scott, i want to ask do you ever use on fabric or on carpets those..scothgaurd type of protectant products????.........////// another fantastic video.. But unfortunatelly again none of these products imported in europe...but i also trying and finding similar products..thanks again...greatings from Athens Greece
09 mustang with quite a bit of black plastic exterior pieces that show fading from the sun.I Iive in the AZ desert where temps reach 115. Im gonna give this a shot and see how it lasts. Unless you have a better idea for the extremes of sun? Thanks scott!
Walmart better start paying you a royalty. Guess I'm off to the store to try some protectall. You know the brand junkies are going to be all up in arms if this is the go to over CG and other well marketed products. Love it.
Scott, What do you think about protect all for exterior paint protection. I currently use Meg Synthetic x-press was after washing and love it.. how does this compare
Protect All is the best product for the money. It is rare that I use a bucket and soap to wash my truck. Pressure wash, spray whole truck down with spray detailer and microfiber towel dry, then use Protect All for an effortless finish on EVERY non fabric surface.
This is a very interesting product. It says it’s an all surface cleaner. So you don’t need to clean the area first? Do you not have to clean the area? It does do it all!
Another great product and Video... Will you PLEASE do just 1 ' Start to Finish ' Video on a FULL PAINT CORRECTION. I know this would be a long video but if you minimize explaining why you used each product and just do it with a brief description we could see in 1 video Every product you use and how you use it... Thanks for all our efforts.
i could do say a full hood step by step when doing paint correction...doing a full vehicle would be way to long for me and not realistic ...if i do a full hood from wash to prep plus a 2 step process and include protection, i think it should be easier for you to understand and just repeat for the entire vehicle...would that work and help Paul?...much love and thanks for the comment
I just picked some up. Wow! this stuff is awesome. Works great on the interior and it’s just as good on glass. Easy to buff to a shine with no streaks.
HA, I love how I can find a product online, then 90% of the time find a review on that product on your youtube channel. Since it has a matte finish, how does it do on paint? Would you recommend this on matte finishes, say matte wheels or fender flares? You can get the 1gal jug on amazon pretty cheap.
I know, he is going to make me go broke LOL. I take his word on a lot of things that I want to try, its not his fault but my wanting to buy them. Nice Vid Scott.
sorry my friend:)..well you can get a small bottle like the one I'm using in the video for about 10 dollars at walmart..start off slow and see if you like it first..i have great luck with it:)..dont mean to deplete your wallet:)..much love and thanks for your support and i hope you have a great holiday week with your loved ones:)
Your ok, I have a budget for my detailing products. I'm just being wise guy. I do value what you put out there I think that you are genuine and trustworthy even though I have not meet you. I am working on getting a detailers show out here for a weekend sometime in a year. God bless Scott keep up the good work.
Just got this product and it is everything you describe. It will be my go to for interiors ... until you show us the videos of how you use it on other things. One thing I don’t like about it is the consistency of the fluid when spraying out of bottle. It goes all over the place. I found it better to spray on the microfiber then apply. I just wished to would have more of a spray mist consistency. Just my 2 cents. But aside from that it is awesome.
i agree about the spray pattern from the sprayer...i put it in another bottle with a different sprayer for better results..i just wanted to show this bottle in the video so you guys could see how the product is sold...bottles and sprayers in auto detailing is forever a pain in the butt:)...much love Mike
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing SCott my friend you really don’t know the scope or magnitude of how much you and your videos really help car enthusiasts and professional auto detailers like yourself. And duhhhh why did I not think about putting the stuff in another Sprayer. Heck I’ve watched all your videos enough to know that yes they are a pain in the butt and also other solutions. PS I’m loving this protect all more and more.
What's up Scott If you have dark grey interior panels and you scuff it by accident (small) are there touch up markers you can use to make it not as visible
Scott, could this be used as a quick wax on top of ultimate wax? Or would this strip or deteriorate the sealant? If so, what would you recommend as a quick wax on top of ultimate wax. I was interested in this as it could be applied to exterior paint, trim and interior. But not if it comprises the integrity of the ultimate wax. Thanks.
i always purchased it from an RV store...when i looked for it on amazon, it was cool to see so many great reviews about the product and it wasn't just me that enjoyed it:)
So would you use this to restore faded plastics? I’m trying to find a product that restores my plastic back to grey, and last longer then a week. I have tried mother’s back to black, and others and they don’t work good for me.
Scott..I tried this product on my black interior & it DULLED the plastic & vinyl. Very disappointed in that regard. I followed directions to the letter but my interior looks dull as hell. Im going back to 303 protectant for interior. THAT makes it kook showroom new. I will try the Protectall on the exterior tomorrow to give it a second chance. I appreciate your info videos but so far this product doesnt impress..cheers from Austin Tx.
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing I had applied 303 6 weeks earlier. surface was clean. I expected the protectall to be "neutral" but it dulled it..no amount of rubbing got rid of the dullness...Not mad just dissapointed .maybe the residual 303 on the interior reacted with the protectall causing the dull look. I will try the protectall on some other areas & see what happens...enjoy your vids☺
I had the same experience in my new F150 with black interior - looked great at first - after a couple of weeks in the heat went chalky white - yuck! Had to scrub it off with a diluted APC - applied CG Silk Shine dressing ( my favourite ) looks great again. Still luv ya Scott !
My father has used this product in the RV for at least 15 years. He swears by it. Is it safe as an all in one treatment including dash gauges and nav screens? All but fabric? I am looking for an all in one interior product for my 2018 new Challenger. It is equipped with a leather package, so most of the door panels and interior is leather. I understand not to use on the non sealed part of the seat , and just the sealed parts. Would this be a good match for what I am looking for or would you recommend something else? Thanks
yes i have..my only complaint is that it can be a little streaky on the paint and glass..not a big deal but sometimes it drives me crazy..lol..this product as well could be a little easier for some to find since i just found out you can buy it at walmart...but yes opti seal is good...i also found out you can protect all in an aerosol ...and you know how i love aerosol:)...this product on tires is really cool, flat matte finish and will last over a month with lots of water beading..kind of cool
How about using this on exterior plastic trim. In your opinion what is the best product for that area. Seems difficult to find a long lasting solution.
have i used a rinseless wash in general or used a rinseless wash for the interior?...not sure what you're asking..but yes i have used a rinseless wash many times and have videos about it..but i don't use a rinseless wash for the interior..i assume you're asking about a rinseless wash for the interior because you left this comment under my Protect All video for interior dressing and protection...thanks John
Scott your killing me dude. My amazon cart is full, constantly switching products. All my packages were delivered today, except the hd speed. It's delayed, now I really wish I had gotten the grios.
megs is still a great product so don't worry:)...but this stuff is more versatile and can be used in more areas than megs spray wax..you can find the little bottle i have in this video at walmart for 10 dollars..you can always go with the small bottle to try it out first:)
I think it's awesome that you share some of your secrets!!!! Kudos to you Scott!!!
This is my new go to interior cleaner and wax. Just did the interior of my test vehicle. A 15 year old Ford Taurus SE with cloth interior and plastic everywhere. Used Mothers interior mist. I've been using it since 1989. Best stuff on the planet for detailing my motorcycle. You can use it on anything except carpet or fabrics.
Carpet is a fabric...
As a 30 year detailer it always seems to amaze me how we come across products that we find works better than products that we've used for years.
This seems to a Do It all product which I love.

I really like this product. Thanks again for the videos recommending it. Just did my whole interior again for the fall.

Hey Scott I tried this product and WOW it it easy to work with and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Love it thanks for the tip 👍👍

I bought ProtectAll .... How many times can you say WOW, OMG, HS, JC ...... Everything you said about the product .... Perfect !!!!
1st heard about this product over 20 yrs ago while owning an RV. Talk about something being considered an all-purpose product. I used it to protect tires, rubber gaskets, seals, fiberglass exterior, countertops, rubber roofs. Great product.

Wow great explanation on the difference in the two products. Getting protect all soon. Hope to see more videos on this product in the real world!
I’ve learned a lot from you My Friend n you keep it 100% real on your videos
Your time is appreciated, BIG TIME!

Thanks again Scott for a different view point and thinking outside the box
This is great product thanks once you apply it do you go back and buff it or just massage it into the interior?
Thank you for the heads up Scott, I can’t wait to pick up a bottle and give it a try!
Do you recommand it?

Question: Can the pledge product for furniture be used as well on the interior?
Hi Scott I enjoy your videos how do you like protect all for the exterior painted surfaces
Walmart better start paying you a royalty. Guess I'm off to the store to try some protectall. You know the brand junkies are going to be all up in arms if this is the go to over CG and other well marketed products. Love it.
thanks Peter and much love my friend..no i don't get money from the products:(
I have a hard time finding some of the stuff he suggests at walmart. Took three stores to find the vehicle/boat wash
Scott,
What do you think about protect all for exterior paint protection. I currently use Meg Synthetic x-press was after washing and love it.. how does this compare
You sure can talk but you make sense. I’ll call it passionate about your work. Thanks
Protect All is the best product for the money. It is rare that I use a bucket and soap to wash my truck. Pressure wash, spray whole truck down with spray detailer and microfiber towel dry, then use Protect All for an effortless finish on EVERY non fabric surface.
Amazon has it including 1 gal refill jugs. They also have an aerosol version. Just search "Protect All"

Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing
Love your videos Scott
Scott Love to see the wash and prep plus a 2 step process and protection!!!
Can’t wait to try some ! Thanks again for another great tip 🤘🏼
thanks for the comment and kind words...much love my friend:)
I just picked some up. Wow! this stuff is awesome. Works great on the interior and it’s just as good on glass. Easy to buff to a shine with no streaks.
im so happy you enjoyed it...i love it:)
Scott,
You mention Protect All is good on glass. Can it be used on both interior and exterior auto glass ? Thank you.
HA, I love how I can find a product online, then 90% of the time find a review on that product on your youtube channel. Since it has a matte finish, how does it do on paint? Your ok, I have a budget for my detailing products. I'm just being wise guy. I do value what you put out there I think that you are genuine and trustworthy even though I have not meet you. I am working on getting a detailers show out here for a weekend sometime in a year. God bless Scott keep up the good work.
how cool..i will defiantly come to a weekend of awesome folks and talking about detailing:)
How cool is that!!
Thank you sir
I've thought of getting it before, but never got it, I guess I missed out on the benefits. I'll get it next time I go to the store.
Thanks Scott will be getting one at Camping World does the tires look good when you do it?
Can you do this on door panels that have been painting?
$43 a gallon on Amazon. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks.
Did you used to sell vegetable choppers ?
Scott love the matte finish, looks great. As a customer I would love this look!!!!
Is it safe on dealer applied ceramic finishes?
Scott, so you recommend cleaning the interior with SuperClean, for example, and then protecting with ProtectAll?
Thank you. You have a NYC accent.
AWESOME. ☝️☝️☝️🏁🏁
New product to me, Scott, so I ordered some. Why not? Looks pretty cool.
i always purchased it from an RV store...when i looked for it on amazon, it was cool to see so many great reviews about the product and it wasn't just me that enjoyed it:)
Got the product and tested it out on a few tings. Love, love, love it! So many uses. Thanks very much.
William Scott it happens:)
Was all the surfaces fully clean?
This product doesn't give any shine or gloss on plastic or vinyl
Chris Hepburn hmmm..I'm sorry about that, I never had that issue.
Thank you Scott i ll be looking 4 that at walley world
Do you still use this? I haven’t seen all your videos but I’ve only seen this one about protect all.
sounds like good stuff hope i can find it locally
Would this be something you could use on clear bras?
Can i use it on exterior paint?
My father has used this product in the RV for at least 15 years. He swears by it. Is it safe as an all in one treatment including dash gauges and nav screens? All but fabric? I am looking for an all in one interior product for my 2018 new Challenger. It is equipped with a leather package, so most of the door panels and interior is leather. I understand not to use on the non sealed part of the seat , and just the sealed parts. Would this be a good match for what I am looking for or would you recommend something else? Thanks
What do you think of auto fanatic products
What did you use to clean the door?
Scott,
Could you use this over top of something like Fast Finish?
Scott, Can you use this on the interior chrome and aluminum trim ? Thank you
I use it on my chrome and it works great
Thanks Scott, what I want to know is what your secret ingredient you add to it to protect leather. when are you going to produce that video
soon my friend:)
I might give this a try at some point, but think it's going to be hard to beat 303 or Megs, XPRESS spray wax.
Protect All is far better.
Piano black?
Interior clear electronic glass?
Ever tried Optimum's Opti-Seal on the interior Scott? It literally has all the same uses, features, and benefits as the Protect-All.
yes i have..my only complaint is that it can be a little streaky on the paint and glass..not a big deal but sometimes it drives me crazy..lol..this product as well could be a little easier for some to find since i just found out you can buy it at walmart...but yes opti seal is good...i also found out you can protect all in an aerosol ...and you know how i love aerosol:)...this product on tires is really cool, flat matte finish and will last over a month with lots of water beading..kind of cool
How about using this on exterior plastic trim. In your opinion what is the best product for that area. Seems difficult to find a long lasting solution.
Solution Finish, or GTechniq Trim Coating both last a year.
i agree..the products Trent mentions are restores...this product is a protectant
Would 'Protect All' be similar to Meguires 'Spray Wax'? It uses carnival wax.
I Wonder if this is like honda protectant
Have you ever tried to rinseless wash.thanks
have i used a rinseless wash in general or used a rinseless wash for the interior?...not sure what you're asking..but yes i have used a rinseless wash many times and have videos about it..but i don't use a rinseless wash for the interior..i assume you're asking about a rinseless wash for the interior because you left this comment under my Protect All video for interior dressing and protection...thanks John
What I meant have you ever use protectall rinseless wash
oh ok..im sorry...no i haven't tried their rinseless wash product
In what way is it superior to 303?
Got mine for $5!👍🏼
Silicone and sunblock is the main ingredients you can make it yourself very cheap FYI that's from a professional detail
Hi Scott, where the hell do you find it at? (Auto Zone, O'Reilly's). Where??
Walmart.
Hi Scott
Prior to using ProtectAll on the door panel , what do you recommend to clean it?
Jeff G Meguiars all purpose cleaner diluted 10:1
I love my Lemon pledge thx
Dude I religious pimp leather honey! That stuff is SICK for leather. Old saddle company from the 1880’s.
Scott your killing me dude. My amazon cart is full, constantly switching products. All my packages were delivered today, except the hd speed. It's delayed, now I really wish I had gotten the grios.
lol
Lol too funny and so true.
Bugger Scott, I just ordered a gallon of Meguiars synthetic spray wax...
megs is still a great product so don't worry:)...but this stuff is more versatile and can be used in more areas than megs spray wax..you can find the little bottle i have in this video at walmart for 10 dollars..you can always go with the small bottle to try it out first:)
Nothing better than VRP AND PERLD
i like both products..but you can't use them on glass or painted surfaces
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing, were do you get it?
i explain where you can find it in the video...did i forget to mention that?
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing ok fox i will try to get one to see how this product works?
How about McGuire's fast finish then top it with protect all?
you are getting very close to another secret i have:)..i love the way you think!
Hey scott. Those foam wands that you used to clean the door jams work great for cup holders and other door pockets
