Nice one Derek , ye look like ye could get another cut on the back lawn before the dirty weather comes in !🤣🤣🤣 (I was told that this week by my Missus about our back garden 🙄 !!!!)
I was glad you didn’t 🤣 you had me worried at one stage, you made a great effort to get back on your own. I enjoyed it myself, hard to get back to the racing. Complete lung buster
@@derekfeehan, I would have needed ye to look at each other a while longer. When I saw yer man hitting 18W/kg in the sprint I was kinda glad I couldn’t bridge 🤣
@@derekfeehan hopefully in the next few weeks. My new manager wants to assess me before she signs off on it. 🤣 But soon I'll be cruising around hopefully.
Had a hard time getting my factory tire off to replace a tube. Try to squeeze the tire beads on both sides to the center deeper channel of the rim and might be able to easier get a tire lever in, saw that on a vid. Tubeless ready tires are really tight on the edges. Cheers on the 2nd! 👍 @@derekfeehan
Getting the tyre off could have been another video altogether. It was a mission. Ended up having to stand on the tyre and pull the rim to get it off. If it happened on the road I’d be screwed 🫣
Derek. Embarrassing question. I'm new enough to cycling. Done one triathlon and one 70km spin. One major issue, u don't know how to change a tube. I know ""how"" to do it, but my problem is when I put the new tube in and inflate it a tiny bit, I can't ever get the tire over both sides of the rim. So, because of this, my 70km spin consisted of repeating a 10km loop, incase I got a flat and had to run home. It's awful Embarrassing, and I'd enjoy it much more if I had the confidence to change it. Do you have any video links on the most practical way to change a tube and getting the tire back on the rim thanks
I’m cycling 18 years and today I admitted defeat with a tyre. Had to drive up to Specialized to get them to sort a tyre and tube so don’t feel bad 🤣 sounds like you’re inflating that tube a tad too much before you put on the tyre. Only needs a tiny bit of air. Sounds like you changed it without issue then if you did 70km in small laps. If it doesn’t go down in a few minutes after changing it, it’s 9/10 done right 🤙 so well done. I don’t have links but there must a million vids on UA-cam for changing a tyre. Sounds like you know the principles of it, you just need to trust your self. Keep it up 🚲
Awe man I’m still in cat D but what’s the crack with the bike settings is there resistance a lot less than yours that American put out savage watts would that have something got to do with it ?
Are you on about for the sprint? I just made a mess of it and never got it going. I stupidly thought he hadnt anything in the tank and I was pulling away easily. Big error on my part
@@derekfeehanI am but you know when you set the bike up at the start you can set the resistance or change it I know he caught you on the hop but for a Cat C race that was savage power
You must weigh about the same as me, I feel your pain. Zwift hates the heavier rider, these skinny lads that can sit at 200w and bang out 3.2w/kg take some beating.
Carrying the extra few kgs is a killer. Massive effort going on now to get it back down 💪 it’s when you do something like ya really see how it hurts the performance
I found that as well, I thought we’d stay in a bunch till the end. Really I use for a good blow out. I’d never go that hard in a training ride. Sound Dave 😀🤙
I love your attitude! So upbeat, great race!
Appreciate that, thank you pal 😀🤙

We’ve a small bit of grass, it’s the absolute bane of my life 🤣
Great video. Love the honest commentary.
Thanks a lot mick. Last minute effort to try get a vid out, not sure what I was putting together 🤣🤙
Enjoyed this one derek! More zwift racing!
Thanks a lot Liam. Might try get one in the end of every month. Try seem some progress
Great video was waiting to hear a few f** here and there , but u had the voice over to hide that 🤔😉🤣 well done on the second place 👏
Need to get a microphone for it. Would definitely make it better to get on second response. Hopefully it will keep improving 🤙
@derekfeehan a was good anyway I enjoyed it 💥💥 would definitely watch more 👌
Your laugh 😆 Made me chuckle. I can imagine you losing your shit when you were racing.
Think I’m going to invest in a microphone and give the full version of it 🤣 thanks a million Daryl 🤙
Great Video Derek. I couldn’t get the rest of them to work with me. 😂

Some man Derek.
Hope you’re still getting out TJ, any word on the new bike?

@Tjfitzster it will be a nice Xmas present to yourself 🤣
Well done derek tyre wouldn't budge but you still cycled on the zwift my you worked up a sweat on it looking forward to next weeks video 😊
Still haven’t managed to get the tyre off 🫣 running out of ideas at this stage 🤣

Well done - try a TIme Trial , cycling weekly 10miler on Wednesdays at 6pm. Everyone goes together which As to Ds .

I have to change but I keep forgetting about it 🫣 but yeah your man nailed the power. Cracking effort from him.
how do you like the zwift bike as a full figured rider?
Can’t fault the bike pal, it does exactly as
You’d expect it to. No complaints here
I never like the trainer unless its snowing like it is today 😂 You"ll be winning races once you get some practice in 👍 🍻
Hopefully once I remember to change gears and shed the kgs it will all come back🤣 👊 sound pal

But you destroy us on the flat and downhill
@CycleWithMatts it has its advantages 🤣 but things are in full swing. Weight is coming off. The party is over. Need to get back to normal 👊
@ 💪
did he hit 17 w/kg????
If not 18 w/kg. Think I had 18 mtr gap and it was gone in the blink of an eye 😂
HI🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thanks for watching pal 😀🤙
11w/kg wow.
I was lucky enough not to see it at the time, I’d have stopped 🤣
Problem with Zwift is you don’t ride your own plan and it’s boring. I always get dragged into other people’s plans. 😮 not for me D … ride on 👍
