Durrow is a beautiful spot, thanks a million for watching 😀🤙 I love getting out in the bike and finding hidden gems like that pyramid. Never heard of it.
Great video Derek. Some hill long climbs up in the slieve blooms. Not too far from Portlaoise, the home town. Good for hill training. Some rough tarmac on some of the roads up there. I didn’t realise that pyramid was there either. 😮
Garvagh Forest, in the North, near Coleraine has the Garvagh Pyramid, created as a burial chamber for Lord Garvagh in the 19th Century. Unfortunately the pyramid was never allowed to fulfil the task it was designed for and was sealed shut with no incumbent a number of years ago.
Ah jasas,I've been to Kinnity for the mountain biking and never knew I was right beside a pryamid!!! I did know about the one outside Arklow though.Great video Derek.

@@derekfeehan Derek, loads a video but probably unsuitable to share with the language !🤪. Weather was biblical at times and in particular during darkness, but we did it !, without the help of a support crew it wouldnt be doable safely. At least we got a predominately Southern Wind which really helped
Sounds like an epic trip. I’m sure I’ll bump into you at some stage Martin. I’d love to hear all about it. Don’t think I’ll do it this year. Time is running out out and days are only getting darker🫣
