Wow ! I'm impressed ! Dan was very fast ! However, I'm more impressed by Si. He made huge improvements since the first time we saw him run horribly 😂His form is pretty good now 👍
Fair play, Dan was no dark horse to anyone who watched his recent GCN video series on his journey to long term health and fitness. He's been smashing it whilst the others have done much less since retiring from the pro ranks. No surprise Ollie decided to grinch the challenge. Make him do a Tri as a forefeit.
Those are pretty great times! Congrats Dan on being so zippy! You can tell Si is a cyclist very easily by the line where his legs go from pale to ghost-of-christmas-past-pale ;) Eh same happens to me, but worse because of SoCal (tan to dead-fish at the cycling shorts line).
They looked like they were really suffering, like they would have times in the 30s and 40s, but those are all really good times for guys who don’t run! Nice work gentlemen!
Dan sub 6s, Si and Alex sub 7s, Conor sub 8s including walking! Great times!!!! Too bad for the gimmicks, it would have been good for Ollie to have run.
@ I got first place in my local park run for running 19:40, I was 37 at the time. Overall percentile is 98.4% according to run repeat. “You're faster than 98.40% of all runners.” This is based on 34,680,750 race results.
@@thejeffinvade I started running 18 months ago at 42. No running experience before that. After four months training and I broke 20 mins. I have a bunch of friends around my age running faster than me, although they've been running a few years. If you convince yourself it can't be done before you've even tried, then you will 100% fail.
Ollie getting dropped. Ah, the good old days 😂
Times are quite fast for non runners, really not bad👌🏻
Bravo to the guys from GCN. Now lets put them in the pool. With Life guards though.
Loved it! Merry Christmas GTN/GCN!
Feel like ollie needs signed up for a triathlon for not taking part

Blimey, good one Dan! Great sports all round… well, except Dr Ollie 😂

Dan is an elite athlete. He puts himself down a lot, but he is elite.
Dan has been running regularly for years...
And smoking/ Drinking ?!

Much love to our GCN guys. Dan was super smooth 👌
Looking forward to some awesome Christmas videos! Happy holidays GTN team!

18:17 5km for Dan? Blimey Charlie
Fair play Dan, well done. Looking like a fit Noel Edmond’s these days.
This was the best Christmas present ever! Thanks
Si’s ankles are huge those socks! I thought black was supposed to be slimming. 😂
To go even close to 20mins let alone under it is a very good time. Shows how fit these guys are to not even do any running and get those times.
Woah, sub 4min/km, impressive
Poor showing by Dr. Ollie Grinchwood.
I think he's ill, he had to drop out of the GCN challenge shown today for that reason.
@@seanoleary771 no, they said in the video that hank was ill
Sub 20’ and 20ish for “non runners” that’s really great !👍🏼
The OG’s have done it!
Puts a smile on my face. Great work Dan, and the rest of ya lot too for agreeing. Si nice thighs 😂
Not that we really needed the reminder, but despite all the teasing over the years, Dan is a amazing athlete.
Congrats Dan. All your hard work has paid off 👏
Si aint slick tryin to hide that ankle monitor
Dr. Bridgewood loved it (track start... and then) ☕️☕️☕️ 😂😂😂😂
Impressive. Very good!
Next for Dan a dual atholon? Well done all
I am genuinly disappointed by Ollie. He didn't even try.
How much older is Dan than the others? Putting the boys to shame! (though actually all surprisingly fast!)
He's 44, Si is 41, Alex is 34 and Conor is 32.
Dr. Bridgewood is 39, but that was just an excuse to not get a DNS😂
Simon looks superb for 41!

Love the GCN bus. Can we get a GTN Bus and a full road trip videography to an EU Ironman 🤩… Sables d’Olonne, maybe Nice 🤔
07:32 Is there something wrong with Si's ankles? He might want to have that looked at.
looks normal to me? pretty normal amount of pronation if that's what you're talking about
Ollie needs to do a duathalon for a challenge, let’s start hitting the likes so he has to do it.
Can we have the doping test results for Mr Dan Lloyd please? 😂 last minute TRT TPE application?
Looking good Dan!! 💪
No Hank, No Bank! :)
Quite reassuring to see a former professional athlete get a stitch-----😅😅.
Seriously good times 👍
Team short shorts forever, they set you free.
brilliant !!!!!!
A bunch of former professional athletes and nobody knows how to use a garmin lol, well done lads.
im 38m. my best time is 33:43.
Right, the times are so fast. Last I did a 5k my time was 36.00
I'm with Ollie. Stuff running and stuff Christmas!
Audio wasn't synchronised on the clip at the end.
18 is good - very good
Sub 20 5K is very fast. I only did it once when I was training for marathon last summer.
It's not that fast really.
Anyone with a few months training could do it.
@ 18 years old high schooler maybe, not a 40 years old dad weights over 80kg

@@thejeffinvade That's nonsense, age grade for that time is ~60-65%.
Nothing special at all.
Dan just blew away my pr!
Now do this with GMBN/EMBN 😂
The paper draw is definitely staged…the most aero demanding presenter got the that dress😂 It can’t be coincidence…
Why would someone in the UK bring a visor to a running race?
I mean my 5k pace is 5'15", so I'm seriously impressed
Odd down 🤔
Why is Si wearing flesh colored ankle weights???

I am thrilled Ollie dropped out, he is so remarkably annoying, that any videos omitting him gets a solid "yes" from me.
Why did he quit? What a bum.
