I came here to learn a how to make a latte... Instead I learned how to replace parts on an espresso machine Blend coffee beans for optimum flavor Roast coffee beans THEN make and a latte With latte art of course 😅
dude... how can you cook, bake, build some wooden stuffs, take awesome photos, film even more awesome video (esp your no music videos, I sleep to those videos) and still be able to make "terrible" latte art (that was so far from terrible)... How can a person be so awesome?
oh ya... pottery HAHA i was looking at one of the suggested videos about that and I was like... good at making plates? .... I forgot the word pottery completely lol
AuraAcqua you’re right like their coffee taste so horrible and god forbid you ask for coffee if the plane it’s like sewer water 🤢 blehc it’s so nasty that’s why I just get my own brand and keep it going
Maintaining things that are in decline is an art I feel we have lost in the West. We are more likely to wait until it breaks and buy new. I appreciate your keen eye. Great video
Malicious_Taco there's actually a japanese philosophy that says that things are more beautiful if they are old/broken, and that way sometimes when they repair it they don't try to make it seem like it's like new, on the contrary, they show the cracks (like when they use gold as glue on the broken bowls and dishes)
I love how good you are at fixing stuff. I also really like the videos you post that have slightly unrelated information to cooking even though this is mostly a cooking channel. I am never disappointed with the content on this channel in general, keep up the good work.
There's another video about he's roasting bean and making a frapucino or other coffee late, he've explained much how to roast and knowing if the bean is bad. You can check it out
I've probably seen this video dozens of times. I find the part when he explains his favorite almond milk and starts finishing the milk latte so relaxing.
... I didn't realize there was subtitles... good thing my half-assed self taught Japanese came through, though I was lostwhen he was talking about the milk.
Make sure to add grease to the piston and plunger. I don't know if they included that in the parts. High temperature grease that is safe for food contact is what you need
Yes, he says what you noted, he definitely does not say TERRIBLE in Japanese. Before that he says: “Latte art wa muzukashi.” Which means “Latte art is difficult.” He was referring to the amount of foam made with that particular almond milk meaning that it was difficult to control the form of the almond milk to make latte art. Not that it was “terrible”. I don’t know if he did the subtitles himself. But his English is good. I don’t think he would make a mistake like that.
こうなんですよliterally means "its like this", but he actually means it's terrible. When you speak Japanese to Japanese people you always need to pay attention to understand what people want to implicate. This case he thinks it's terrible so he put correct subtitles. Japanese can't be translated into English straightly.
I've been a barista for a little over a year now, and this is definitely one of my favorite things to see. Someone making a drink just to enjoy it, not knowing if itll turn out perfect or not.
The Almond milk he use is actually really tasty. When I went to the US, I surprised that not only almond milk, but almost all non-Daly milk taste nothing... If you guys have chance to come to Japan, you should try once! I think you can get one at any convenient store. I recommend soy milk too!
I love how the milk you have does not have those plastic crew on caps. That makes recycling of used paper cartons a lot easier! Now, I am going to be trying to find one here in Sydney, Australia. As always, fantastic video!
I actually make my own almond milk, and it's pretty easy! It also tastes a lot better than most store-bought versions. This coffee sounds amazing though!
I have just been hitting replay on this video while clearing out the things I've been neglecting on my to-do list. This video inspired me to be an adult. Thank you, Peaceful Cuisine!
(Produces perfectly symmetrical fluffy latte art)
“Hehe. Terrible.”
LMAO my thoughts exactly
WOW! Dodie! never expect to see you here! HI! :D
i was like wow that's beautiful and then i read his response lol
Same dodie
he isn't saying the design is terrible, it's because the foam around the design is splotchy and not consistent.
Man, your channel its the perfect example of not needing any fancy transitions, loud attention grabbers or click bait. Simplicity at its finest yet with such a uniquely adequate touch and pace! Props man, awesome video!😉👌

"Terrible."
*Does the latte art beautifully*

this is the equivalent of an artist posting a really great drawing and going "ugh so bad im deleting"

Yeah, is there something this man is not awesome at???
Maria López Eating meat
You forgot pottery, he makes awsome kohiki- plates in one video. And he plays the cello.
oh ya... pottery HAHA i was looking at one of the suggested videos about that and I was like... good at making plates? .... I forgot the word pottery completely lol
I'm honestly surprised you didn's make your own almond milk.
I was going to comment the same :)
Me too lol I was expecting him to make his own almond milk
I do. But homemade almond milk is kinda grainy even if you used vita-mix and I don't like that texture.
I know exactly what you mean! Tried making it with a Blendtec and result is same as with Vitamix. I have yet to get an almond milk bag though.
@@peacefulcuisine Bro my mom will love your kitchen
