I would go to the movie theaters and pay money to watch this.
michelle brooke nah people would be on their phones, kids would cry, people whispering, etc. it's best to watch this at home alone lol for me anyways
michelle brooke same
Lusian I don't know about America but in Canada movie theatres are quiet af and you are extremely judged for making noise
VicGames Vt booo
michelle brooke hahaha his videos are really nice, I agree. I just started my own channel, do you mind checking it out? Thanks a lot!
such a good knife .. all the ones in my kitchen are shaking
Sharpen them.
He is a very skilled person with a knife. He would be a very scary killer if he were
I died😂😂😂😂 shaking? Really?😂😂😂😂
just buy a new one xD

Bazzty Fresco or u can save money by just sharpening them
the cinematography in this makes it feel like an award-winning short film
spuddy potat ikr
spuddy potat i know right
Eye no write 😂
Aye now wright
👏👏👏
Who else prefers the no music versions? The music versions are absolutely fine but for me, hearing the sounds of what's going on is cool.
I absolutely agree.
Thanks for watching?
No, thank YOU for creating this video and making it available for free!
that's a sharp knife.... I need one
MoonMoonFang it is a Bob Kramer stainless steel damascus i believe. They're gorgeous.
jelmo27 and cost a lot
you can sharpen any knife to be sharp as long as you have a good wetstone or sharpener (even super sharp knives will get dull after some use)
MoonMoonFang you need some MONEYY for dat
don't know why he doesn't use a Japanese knife. I know there are plenty of extraordinary knife brand and smith in Japan.
Ok, so I made this recipe last night. SO GOOD. My husband hates it when I make vegan food, but he LOVED these dumplings. Thank you much for your recipes and awesome videos. Lots of love from Ecuador :)
Maybe cause this is Polish pierogi and they are good with everything inside them
They're not Polish pierogis.
They're Chinese jiaozi or gyoza in Japanese.
thanks i was searching advice
@@qzg7857 Sadly you don't know the difference between a dumpling and a pierogi. A pierogi is boiled, then fried or baked. It's also traditionally in the shape of a crescent, but the fillings can vary widely.
@@RaroHi and the preparation of dumplings???
This is 100% the best cooking channel on youtube.
Serious respect man
Agreed !!!
Those knife skills cured my cancer

I would love to hear these sounds coming from my kitchen as I lay in bed and leisurely read a good book.....awwwww dreams😊💭
Same
Especially if that man was the love of your life, and a fine ass man. Smiling at you as he cooked and asked you about the book you were reading.
I want he to be my dad, cuz I'll be always eating some tasty dishes uwu (sorry my bad english, I'm just starting to learn this language sksksks)
@@ryuufairys well good luck then (wish me luck too,I'm in the same position 😛)
I love the filter, the framing, camera angles and the fact that there's no music.
ok but can we talk about his hands
he rolled a perfect circle of dough in two seconds and I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler
Me too😢
Same
That made me seriously lol
In India there is desert called gujhiya being prepared in festival holi shape is same
The sounds of a cabbage are so pleasing. It's like music to my ears
no music IS THE BEST.
Ok but no one is commenting on your hands anyways your hands are fucking heaven
was thinking the same but i thought it would be weird haha
Effie Hoult Same haha
Effie Hoult THATS WHAT I SAID.
finally someone mentioned that!!!!
His nails are beautiful as well.
This channel redefines food for thought.
The sound of grinding toasted sesame seeds.... What a peaceful quiet inside my head
the cabbage cutting, oh the cabbage cutting
I remember being a senior in college and I couldn't sleep. I found this video and it was able to calm my anxieties enough to help me fall asleep. This became a regular video and channel for me. It helps to quiet my mind and ease my worries when it is hard to do by myself.
I really enjoy the originality of this channel and the dedication he puts into it
If I had me a man who could cook like this....
cook your food yourself. there's no need to have someone else cook it for you.
chillipepper not everyone is passionate about cooking you know. I guess that car mechanics often wonder why people don’t fix the easy things themselves either, but then those people don’t share the passion for cars that the car mechanics (hopefully) do have. Not everyone wants to cook for themselves and to me that’s perfectly fine. Do whatever pleases you in life because life is too short doing things you don’t like
Can you imagine him cooking away peacefully and you ask ‘hey hun what’s for dinner’ and he shushes you
Yep every man dreams of having a woman like you. I got me one and i did all the cooking and cleanibg etc cause she was lazy as fuuuuuk. She loved havin a man like that also.
There is a big Japanese community where I live so these dumplins taste like my childhood. This bring back tender memories of eating at the festivals and at my Japanese friends' houses. Thank you for the video! I can't wait to make this dumplins!
This is perhaps my all time favorite cooking video tutorial. Haven’t even seen the rest of the channel and know its an instant follow. Great work!
All I was thinking about when he minced those "shiitakes" (which look like - and probably are mushrooms) was Prince Naveen in "The Princess & The Frog", where he learned how to chop mushrooms.
If you remember this You're my best friend 😢
Michelle Wanha
Princess and the Frog is my favorite movie, Tiana was all that😂
shiitake is mushroom in Japansese, just fyi :(
Ngân Mai I feel ashamed.
Nothing, dear :) Have a nice day!
Michelle Wanha that movie is my favourite too! but it was so underrated :( it doesn't get that much exposure like Frozen or Moana..
Am I the only one who watches these at 3 am and wishes they could cook but is eating chips 💀💀💀
Hay Stack me at exactly this moment lolll
Yep..here✋
why u wishing? this dude just showed u step by step how to do it. Go do it. don't be lazy now
3 pm actually but oh well lol *cries and munches on salty chips*
Lazy
The thing about most asian cooks i have noticed is they are so neat, precise in measure, cut very evenly...just so perfect ❤
Somehow this is incredibly satisfying, relaxing, and beautiful. That’s what I want cooking to be for me sometime
In my home
Alone or with someone watching or cooking along
Peaceful, meditative, precise, rhythmic and free verse all in one.
Little thoughts wrapped up in dumplings and spilling through steam
So careful and loved, it cannot taste bad, that would be impossible
A simple and sustaining deep breath in the running way of life
This is pure art. I'm so grateful I discovered you. Thank you!
I'm from Calcutta, India and a fan of your channel. People from different parts of the Himalayas have a version of these dumplings. They call it momo. I have a question, and forgive me if you have already answered this somewhere else, what do you use to record your audio? I'm guessing it's not the in camera sound.
Bong Eats he puts all his equipment in the description ^_^
@Bongeats you guys wouldn't believe it but i actually recalled your videos when watching this and I was appalled to find your comment!!
Sanjeev Rai do you know what appalled means...?
Bong Eats hi vai saab aap vi ye channel like kya
Kitty Crafter He's horrified! 😂

I've only recently found this channel and I'm IN LOVE with the no music recipes ❤️❤️❤️
AnotherFabulousGirl hey, I just started my own channel, do you mind checking it out? Thanks!
I wish all of cooking videos just like this...it's really peaceful
every cooking channel has gay techno house music playing in the backround. i could never fucking sit and watch it. this is just perfect... subbed
gay?
gay techno house music lmaooo
No nonsense, pure - peaceful cooking
When I'm stressed, anxious or depressed your videos ground me #lifegoals
Even 10 yrs of hard work wont make me as perfect as her in kitchen work!
この人の料理みるのすごい落ち着く😌
they are folded so nicely, I could never do that 😭
Beautiful mortar &pestle. The glaze on the inside is fantastic!
見てると可食部分は全て無駄なく使って捨てるところは最小限にしてて素晴らしいですね
生ゴミとかめっちゃ少ないんだろうな
キャベツたっぷりで美味しそう
Watching your videos is like a therapy for me 🌻
i can hear the cabbage is moaning
the real food porn lol
Just find your channel! Wonderfully done, without voice and music! Could completely concentrate on how to prepare dumplings! Thank's a lot ftom Brazil!
Wuuuauuuuuu...execelente video ...muchas gracias ..sin música , sin explicación , y lo mejor de todo es que entiende a la perfección
Holaaa como estas
he literally puts every effort into the dumplings
This isn‘t just cooking. This is art.
this is so peaceful
Super simple, just a bunch of chopping. Definitely trying this 👍🏽
That knife is dancing and it sounds satisfying.
Oh my god I love dumplings so much! Now I can make my own at home with our going to a restaurant.
Thank you so much!
This should’ve won an Emmy.
Ryoya, how do you keep your workspace so clean? I've tried making dumplings before, but every time i manage to get flour all over myself and everything else in the kitchen TT I'll definitely be trying to make these soon though!! I really like gyoza, so would it be possible to just fry these instead of boiling them, too?
Yes of course you can fry them on a frying pan ;)
+Peaceful Cuisine
Oki
Takes practice when cooking keeping the work space clean just becomes force of habit.
On one hand, I appreciate the quiet of no music or talking, just watching cooking and learning along the way. On the other hand, after watching a lot of cooking videos with music and/or talking... I wasn't quite prepared for the sound of cabbage, somehow.
This reminds me of Jenna struggling to make Julien dumplings
OMG YES
Who????
Baskinshannah Craftco Jenna marbles, she’s a UA-camr
You are a food artist... what you make and how you make is art....
Love your no background music recipies....
The sound of food is the best one than any music.....
Thanks for the upload
n d best part is d cruncyness of ur vegetables....the sound of ur chopping....oh its music to ears...luv dt u dnt waste thngs
Why is this so satisfying to watch
when you dont even know how to cut a green onion but you enjoyed watching this.
the elegance in each move
The moment i realize this is a vegan dumpling
You were expecting meat? All his videos are vegan.
I slightly cried inside lol
just add your own meat then
@@SimonWoodburyForget we're talking about vegan in the colloquial sense of the word smartass
You guys, chill. Not everything worth debating for omg
Please show us how you make vegan version of steamed meat buns, including the dough. 🙂 ありがとうございます~
watch this ;) ua-cam.com/video/O_-E1iBUy-g/v-deo.html
You capture me, one thing I love about cooking is all this sounds 😍 amazing thanks😉

that was immensely therapeutic
His knife skills are amazing
I watch this channel for the aesthetic, tell myself I’m going to make it, but then think of the calories✌🏻help
Flipping pennywise need some relaxations after killing children lol
You can try it once, maybe do it a once a month treat. Just focus on not eating many on a row and you should be fine
i love how this is unintentional asmr
Wouldn’t it be easier to roll out the dough all at once as one large amount and then take a 3.5” circle cookie cutter and cut out the round shapes? (or whatever size you want). It seems very labor intensive to roll each circle out separately. Great video though, thanx!
TheseusTitan er.....you think that’s “labour intensive “? Seriously? Sorry, that’s just cooking, you sound *incredibly lazy* . Rerolling all the scraps left over after cutting out circles over works the gluten and makes for hard pastry and any halfway decent home cook knows that.
julie Wallis, Really? Your false conclusion of me being lazy is an irrational leap of illogic. What do you think bakers do with cookie dough? Have you got a screw loose or what? My description is common sense. Yours is defensive based on your emotionalism. Get a life Julie and get your head out of the gas oven! By the way, the way you have written your “J” in Julie is lowercase. Do you need a grammar lesson as well?
I do it with an cookie cuter.. After that i roll it out again to make them even thinner..
I imagine it’s probably possible but maybe by doing it the way in the video, it can be easier to maintain the thickness of each? Since with a cutter it might be trickier to ensure they’d be the right thickness or size even (granted the cutters I’ve seen tend to be primarily for baking and not making dinners so they focus on cute little shapes, I’m still searching for good cutters that aren’t miniscule)
TheseusTitan wow! Triggered or what? Are you always so fucking rude, as for your “get a life” comment, I have a fantastic life. Red carpet events, champagne receptions, nights mingling with stars, and that’s just my work. Free time is even better, weekends in Paris or in a wooden lodge, city breaks, shopping for yet more louboutins. You’re not only lazy, you’re rude! As for the grammar lesson, I’ll be sure to tell my editor, he will enjoy the laugh.
you have a damascus steel knife? That must have been expensive.
Empanadas maestro, EMPANADASS
Came here to learn and fell asleep because I thought it was asmr so I had to rewatch it 😂my little sister wants chinese food for her birthday tomorrow and you had the best tutorial on how to make dumplings
More relaxing then 30 mg of Valium and a hot shower.
i love your no music videos!
This is so Beautiful. I love the sound of that sharp knife and the way it's filmed is great.
So calming
For a minute there I forgot about everything in the world and focused on the sound his knife made as he chopped his veges. *Heaven*❤
that sound of cutting is damn good
all that work for the food to be gobbled up in seconds
The best ASMR video ever.
Meanwhile, I'm here eating chips and falling asleep to this video
