      chillipepper not everyone is passionate about cooking you know. I guess that car mechanics often wonder why people don’t fix the easy things themselves either, but then those people don’t share the passion for cars that the car mechanics (hopefully) do have. Not everyone wants to cook for themselves and to me that’s perfectly fine. Do whatever pleases you in life because life is too short doing things you don’t like

    In my home
    Alone or with someone watching or cooking along
    Peaceful, meditative, precise, rhythmic and free verse all in one.
    Little thoughts wrapped up in dumplings and spilling through steam
    So careful and loved, it cannot taste bad, that would be impossible
    A simple and sustaining deep breath in the running way of life

    Wouldn’t it be easier to roll out the dough all at once as one large amount and then take a 3.5” circle cookie cutter and cut out the round shapes? (or whatever size you want). It seems very labor intensive to roll each circle out separately. Great video though, thanx!

    • @JulieWallis1963
      @JulieWallis1963 6 років тому +10

      TheseusTitan er.....you think that’s “labour intensive “? Seriously? Sorry, that’s just cooking, you sound *incredibly lazy* . Rerolling all the scraps left over after cutting out circles over works the gluten and makes for hard pastry and any halfway decent home cook knows that.

    • @TheseusTitan
      @TheseusTitan 6 років тому +20

      julie Wallis, Really? Your false conclusion of me being lazy is an irrational leap of illogic. What do you think bakers do with cookie dough? Have you got a screw loose or what? My description is common sense. Yours is defensive based on your emotionalism. Get a life Julie and get your head out of the gas oven! By the way, the way you have written your “J” in Julie is lowercase. Do you need a grammar lesson as well?

    • @juless.9544
      @juless.9544 6 років тому +1

      I do it with an cookie cuter.. After that i roll it out again to make them even thinner..

    • @FanSoulEater
      @FanSoulEater 6 років тому +3

      I imagine it’s probably possible but maybe by doing it the way in the video, it can be easier to maintain the thickness of each? Since with a cutter it might be trickier to ensure they’d be the right thickness or size even (granted the cutters I’ve seen tend to be primarily for baking and not making dinners so they focus on cute little shapes, I’m still searching for good cutters that aren’t miniscule)

    • @JulieWallis1963
      @JulieWallis1963 6 років тому +4

      TheseusTitan wow! Triggered or what? Are you always so fucking rude, as for your “get a life” comment, I have a fantastic life. Red carpet events, champagne receptions, nights mingling with stars, and that’s just my work. Free time is even better, weekends in Paris or in a wooden lodge, city breaks, shopping for yet more louboutins. You’re not only lazy, you’re rude! As for the grammar lesson, I’ll be sure to tell my editor, he will enjoy the laugh.
