Thank you for the video. Small things like this are how people like me learn. I aquired a 79 ice cream truck and have been working on getting the engine back in good shape. The engine isnt the original 292 it is a 74' 250 inline 6. Got it running super smooth now. Anyway the steering wheel was not centered and that bugged me so I took it apart and was flabbergasted as to why it didn't come off after removing all the hardware. Puller is on the way but this video was the solution, so thank you again for the knowledge. You sir are a scholar and a gentleman.
Great video this really helps me a lot. I now feel confident that I can do it now..Lreally liked the step by step info and demonstration. thanks again.
Great video by the way. I have a 85 c10 that I got from my gramps not too long ago and the window wings are in pretty rough shape. Some of the rubber washers are broken and it wont create a tight seal. It also is pretty hard to push out to open it. Any advice? Thanks again these videos are very helpful, not too many like it!
The only way to fix the seals would be to rebuild the wing wing windows , as far as it not wanting to open, you could remove the wing window and grease the post up that the window pivots on.
I'm having trouble figuring out where my steering wheel puller bolts go because the bolts that I have don't screw into my steering wheel so where am I supposed to place these bolts at
@@3rdGenC10s thank you that's what I'm doing now I'm actually at harbor freight buying a kit If it doesn't work then I'm going to have to go to Ace hardware and find something that does
@@3rdGenC10s Well that's what I did I bought a cheap kit from NAPA Auto parts and honestly I didn't pay attention to the bolt size 🤷♂️ I don't mind having the extra tools but I hate wasting money I don't have to waste
How do I get the steering wheel to on straight? I had the wheels lined up before removing old one, but when I put the new one on it it's clocked to the right. No matter what I do it just won't go on straight. Is it possible to move the steering arm past the firewall to fix this? Thanks for the vidoes.
Thanks for this - just picked up an ‘84 K20, this was super helpful.

You’ll have to get bolts that will thread in to the steering wheel.

@@3rdGenC10s I literally can't find bolts that will thread into the steering wheel, no matter what steering wheel kit I'm buying nothing fits.

The shaft is splined you should be able to clock it a little bit and straighten the wheel out.
Great video thanks very much

Can you do headlight replacement?????
I can make a video of that. Headlights correct? Not headlight switch.

Good content!
I appreciate it!
How long of bolts did you use for your puller
I’m not sure it came with the kit, I can measure them when I get home. They are about 3” just from guessing
Thank you!
Glad it helped you out!
Will this work for a 2004 subaru wrx sti?

Have you quit making videos
For the time being. With work and the new baby I’ve barely had time to work on things. Filming adds a lot of time to a project.
