Love your video. I was taught to shake the basket OUT of the airfryer because it will damage the basket rubbing it back and forth against the metal. Set on cutting board and shake. Never use metal tongs getting food out of basket…only silicone.

6:58 Yeah, I'm definitely for saving the "grease" or what I secretly call "bacon oil" for frying your homemade fries in your air fryer. While the frozen fries from stores do not requre any oil (those are already pre-fried and processed enough), if you make your own fries from raw potatoes, or your own blooming onion or basically anything fried from scratch which does not have its own fat, do use this grease! Because it's way better and healthier than any so called "vegetable oil" which is sold in stores and whose name sounds healthy but is actually super nasty for your health. They say that back then when fries were fried in tallow in fast food chains, people were healthier. Now with everyone owning an air fryer, we can all be a bit healthier again;-)
Hi Daniel! Thanks so much for watching! I’ll have to try your method with the bacon - I’m always up to learn new and better ways 😊 Thanks for sharing. And you know, I just needed some bacon grease for cornbread, so I need to start saving mine too! Thanks again, Marie
Thank you so much, for the information, it's very useful my husband bought me one and I love it😁 very simple ,easy, quicker, keeps the kitchen clean it's totally worth it. Scrolled down, got the answer from your previous reply. Thank you for sharing your knowledge that we can use the air fryer for cooking so many food items. That too an healthy option.
I love my Air Fryer--I resisted for a long time, but it is worth it! Even if you just reheat things in it, it is amazing for crisping up leftovers like fried chicken. I'm not a huge fan of turkey, but I "fried" a small turkey breast and it was delicious. You can make toast or grilled cheese sandwiches in a snap. I do use my presets. If you are going to buy one, go ahead and get a 5.8 to 6 quart model with a basket drawer like Marie's. You can do so much more in these than the tiny ones. I've never used the oven style AFs with glass, but they look like they'd be a nightmare to clean.
Hi Jane! I was the same with my air fryer - left it in the box for weeks and then when I did get it out, I couldn’t figure out how to use it! 😅 Now I use it every day! Yes I love it for reheating leftovers and crisping up foods. My husband uses it often for sandwiches and my daughter for pizzas or chicken nuggets. Last night we did salmon cakes and they were wonderful! Possibilities are endless 🥳 Thanks so much for watching and for taking time to leave a note! Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes, a little olive oil can keep the broccoli from drying out. Also, you can add a little water to the basket (maybe 1/4 cup or so) and it will keep the broccoli nice and soft, more like steaming. Hope that helps! Hugs, Marie

Thank you for sharing!!! An air fryer is on my list!!! I've always been an instant pot girl, but I'm ready to add this to my arsenal. And...don't forget to mention, the energy saving as opposed to the conventional oven!
Hi Lynn! Thanks so much for watching! And yes, I always forget to mention the energy saving benefit! Thanks for the reminder. I thought of your comment today as I was cooking in the air fryer 🥰
How to know what temperature and what time to use for every dish? Any tips for choosing the right ones? Thank you. Very good tutorial for beginners with air fryer.
Hi! Thanks for watching! I generally use 350 for most things. It’s a good place to start. Your air fryer probably has suggested times and temps for something common foods as well. Hope that helps! Stay tuned, Marie
Recommendation - Rather than shaking the basket while not completely removed is extremely noisy and can't be good for the finish on the basket or air fryer. It's just as quick to stir with a spoon or spatula. Great job on everything else.
We make the best ever garlic rolls ...in the airfryer ...and brush a bit of olive oil on top ...lovely as a starter on a Friday night sitting by the fire with a glass of vino
Hi Janet! Thanks for watching and for taking time to leave a note! Always love to hear from viewers 😊 I’m excited for you to try these! Please stay tuned for more new recipes soon ❤️, Marie
Hi. I just watched this. I am new to air-fryer cooking. I have one, but have not used it, yet. I found this most helpful and well put together. I have two questions. 1) How do you know how long to set the timer for and at what temperature as surely this would differ depending on what you are cooking and how much? 2) How do you keep the food warm you have already cooked if doing different things to make a meal to be served all at the same time? Thank you. I will subscribe and follow your channel.
Thank you for the tip when melting butter in the microwave. I would have never thought to cover it first with a paper towel. (I will try it to avoid the mess.)
Hi Annie! Thanks for watching and for taking time to leave a note! Always love to hear from viewers 😊 Yes, a napkin over top can help avoid a big mess of butter! You can also use a taller jar instead of a shallow bowl for less splatter. Please stay tuned for more new recipes soon ❤️, Marie
Like you I have the preset capability but use the temperature and timer only. I use my air fryer several times a week and you have given me ideas for things I never thought of.
Yay! 🥳 Welcome Aida! I’m going to start including Celsius and grams in recipes so hopefully that will be helpful! Thanks for watching and as always feel free to reach out if you have questions ❤️, Marie
Hi Edith! Thanks so much for watching and taking time to leave a note! Can’t wait for you to try some of these 😊 Stay tuned for more new recipes soon ❤️, Marie
I’m getting my new air fryer tomorrow and can’t wait to use it!! I’ll be trying all of your recipes! (Except the the corn😫because of dietary reasons) and because of you, I just went on Amazon for the truffle salt!🥰
Exciting Gail! Let me know if you have any questions or requests for future recipes! I have air fryer meatballs coming out soon 😍 You are going to LOVE the truffle salt. So good on the fries omg. Thanks so much for watching 😘😘
Hi! So glad you enjoyed the video! This is the newer version of the one I have: amzn.to/45iVcKJ The older version was actually recalled 😅 The sound and alarm are really not too loud. I’m wondering if maybe my microphone picked it up and made it sound louder than it really is? Anyway, if you do get one I have lots of other videos with air fryer recipes! Just let me know if you need help finding them. My best, Marie
Jenny suddhoo , you can buy liners for your fryer online , but it is still hygienic to take out the metal part in the bottom of the basket and wash it ( I do mine in the dishwasher ) empty out any residual oil in the bottom of the basket and wipe the basket with a paper towel , hope. this helps .
Hi Cindy! Thanks for watching! Yes we adore our air fryer! So quick and easy without a lot of heat in the house 👍🏻 Stay tuned for more new recipes soon ❤️, Marie
I love cooking Porkchops in my air friar. They come out nice and crispy. Assuming you like the skin, which I do though. Yum! I'm going to try doing those boild eggs. Never thought of that. Now you wait and see, mine is going to pop and make a mess everywhere. Lol!
Hey Mike! Thanks so much for watching and for taking time to leave a note! Love to hear from viewers 😊 Okay! Pork chops is on my list for the air fryer! Thanks for the idea. My family loves pork chops and I rarely cook them, so they will be grateful for your suggestion, too! I haven’t had an egg pop in the AF yet, so I think you’ll be good! But do keep me posted. I do like to hear how things turn out so I can adjust my recipes or add notes as needed. Thanks again Mike! Stay tuned for more new recipes coming soon 👍🏻 Best, Marie

Corn ...>>>>>wrapped in cling wrap....2 minutes in the micro wave ...add butter....best way 😅
I just use a pair of long handled wooden spoons.😁 Bon appetite.
Great recipes and ideas, I’ll definitely be trying them ❤

❤❤. BIG THANK YOU ENJOYED VERY MUCH WILL BE WATCHING MORE . 😀😀😀😀🌟🌟
Thank you so much. I am in Germany, and just bought an air fryer. Nice to know about the eggs...and everything else.
Excellent recipe ideas to try💜💜💜
Thanks for sharing great ideas!
Easy fast and ummmmm 😋 yummy
Like you I have the preset capability but use the temperature and timer only. I use my air fryer several times a week and you have given me ideas for things I never thought of.

I love my air fryer too making fast food meals
Thanks, very informative I’m buying one of these!
Sounds noisy though the loud alarm noises would prefer one with manual control!
Hi! So glad you enjoyed the video! This is the newer version of the one I have:
amzn.to/45iVcKJ
The older version was actually recalled 😅 The sound and alarm are really not too loud. I’m wondering if maybe my microphone picked it up and made it sound louder than it really is? Anyway, if you do get one I have lots of other videos with air fryer recipes! Just let me know if you need help finding them. My best, Marie
I have learned all your cooking will try .I use foil i my fryer so that i don’t have to wash fryer
Looks so easy want try
I love your receipts.
It is an excellent option for not using the stove. 👍🏻

Love to hear from viewers 😊
Okay!

Never thought of corn Thank you. And regarding sweet potatoes I diced much larger as directions and other You Tubers suggested. To cook through always some burned ones. You area gem!
