Hi, sounded spluttering, check float levels as well as pilot jet size, float level too high makes it run rich, float level too low will run lean. Have fun 👍
Sweet, just sweet. As minimalistic as possible nothing more nothing less. Nicely done 👍
loved watching this come together, awesome build fella
The tuning will take time for sure. I would put some cone filters on instead of velocity stacks.
I have a 94 cbr600 have had lots of carb issues. I’ll never get another carb bike. Mine runs good now as long as it isn’t 100 degrees outside. Yours looks great and for being a Frankenstein bike it doesn’t seem like there is a lot left for you to do. Good luck
beautiful bike
There some say in the old days "Sometimes you need a little bit of force when dealing with old bike"
And Thats the reason why old bike had kick starter 😅😅😅
I felt that fudgesicles in my soul brother
Now that 240sx on the back is what's up!!!!
Beautiful.
Beautiful...
But (@1:45) left handle bar looks slightly down than right side.
Am i trippin or this bike is sounding like a harly
No way
How would you make a base for a fairing?
you're almost to the finish line bruh..
you look like Paul Walker
max speed of this one?
How much meny to make this bike ❤
I, too, would LOVE to know this and where he got the rims and cost 🙏🏼
How can I get the front sproket ?
I got mine from D&G Chassis
@Benji... what is the offset on it to work with the Ducati rear swing arm and what bike did that come off of?
Which ducati swingarm is that?
i was one of the first couple views on this project man, glad to see it really come together
also, are you sure those velocity stacks are long enough, those carbs flow a ton and a longer runner may help with the 6k to 9k RPM
good question, i guess we’ll see!
Your content is beautiful. Off course we want to see the bike working so after all your big sacrifice the astonish GS didn't ride well, so we felt like not a happy end. But again, was very entertaining to watch all your videos, congrats.
Wow bro. Bike looks super cool...thank you for sharing...from South AFRICA
I’d highly recommend running a full system like delkevic exhaust. Trying to tune those CR carbs is a major pita and adding a header only exhaust system is just gonna make it harder to tune and you will kill the lower end power as well. Bike looks great other than that. Congrats!
good call, i’m wondering weather to just add something to this exhaust or make a whole new one before going on the dyno
@@Benji... Make it easy, buy one ready set of full exhausts with baffle.
If you have play in the clutch basket when you push pressure plates after all discs/ hardware installed then thats a problem as well. Sometimes its as easy as installing parts in right order…
Gave up on CR carbs on a 400cc I was building. Just "too much carb" as the specialists said.
I was enjoying this build what happened, were have you gone to bro 😅
thank you. I'm still working on these, just been crazy busy and spending time with my new daughter. more coming soonish
@@Benji... Oh great to hear from you and congrats on the new daughter 😁 will be waiting for the new stuff bro 🙏
wet clutch plates should soaked in oil before building the clutch, they have to expand and they can't be fitted until they have expanded so you can get the depth of the plates right. . .DONT FIT DRY PLATES,
Man, congratulations on the construction, for how you adapted the swingarm and the rest but there are two things:
1 That sprocket cover can't look. You could have done better
2 The headlight/arrow/steerer head assembly is too high. It clashes a bit with the line of the bike... 💪🏼
in the future, there will be a huge demand for frame loops, rear mudguards, twin shocks and double-sided swing arms,
What is the rim and tire size front and back?
This is the most beautiful custom bike that I’ve ever fookin seen
such a nice build! fingers crossed you get to take her out before the winter :)
La carburazione è normale che andava rifatta. Buon lavoro. GREAT JOB❤
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE RIMS???
:)
That’s about how my bike went
That engine got rythm 6:37
Looks perfect. Can’t wait to hear her run
Very nice 👍
C'est magnifique 😍
You ever get this running right?
I've got an 1100g that I fought with when I first bought it only to find out that the jets in the carb was completely incompatible with pod filters and a vance and hines exhaust. It ran really well after rebuilding the carbs. I'm in the process of buiding the frame for my super cafe build and will be running the entire bike from a central locking and remote start system.
Brother I seen this bike vedio so many time but I don’t know why if i got this bike suggestion for this bike to see i see it like a small kid , I think fall in love with this sexy bike😂😂😂 thanks for making this motorcycle.🎉🎉🎉
Amazing Architecture! Well designed Cafe RACER. Thanks for Sharing!
Sepertinya aku kenal merk velgnya.jonic..
Great work, you definitely deserve a LOT MORE subscribers.
it's almost there!
Engine sound is wayyy off
Any updates on this bike?
working on a new exhaust at the moment, life has been busy so it’s taking me a while but still moving along. will post the next video when it’s ready
@@Benji... thank you for the update! Can’t wait to see the next video🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Onde está a bateria, parabéns 👏
The bike looks really clean/minimalistic! I see the curved led tail light but no turn signals? Are they in the tail light? If so di you have any issues passing the DMV inspection?
The tail light has turn signals built in which actually work quite well
Just a question, if u're riding with velocity filters, would it be dangerous riding in the rain?
I feel like with these custom bikes, we're not riding in the rain lol. Still a good question though.
exactly what he said ^
❤ cool 👍
Don't most carburetted bikes have a manual choke you use when starting it cold?
Yep, this one does and I had it on the whole time. Whenever I would turn it off the bike would stall
@@Benji... seems like the carbs just need tuning. Unfortunately I'm not well versed enough to help but I'm sure someone else here could help.
The headlight is sitting too high.other than that, she's a beaut! 👌
I'd make a small cylindrical custom single/twin filter air-box for all 4 carbs to connect to. These GS Suzies hate single filters on each of these carbs. K6N's just aren't worth the work/re-jetting/messing on with to end up only making these engines run worse than the standard air-box does.
Did you ever get it to run well. ? I'm waiting, what a beautiful bike. 😂😂
not yet, finishing a new exhaust now and then will be taking it for tuning. I'll post a video once it's all complete
