What better way to celebrate Playstation's 30th anniversary than with full native backwards compatibility, with all previous Playstation systems, on PS5?
Sony will personally send out an engineer to your house to open up your PS5 and install a cell processor
Or.. At the very LEAST.. Let owners who still have our ps1 games, that are currently playable. Download when the disc is in the ps5.
Just like what xbox did with compatible og xbox games, and any further ps1 titles that get added in future. THIS would go a long way to give some goodwill this holiday, to everyone who still enjoys the ps1 library today.

Missed opportunity to sell 30th anniversary PSVR2 and Pulse Elites.
The sales were very high for that special grey variants and the PSVR2 needs all the help it can get.

They rerelease the PS1-4, with HDMI and USB 3, but other than that the exact same, but the PS1, PS3, and PS4 are of such limited stock the only one people buy is the PS2 so they squeeze out a few more sales.

I agree it's unlikely, or at least not worth getting hopes up, but what a good move it would be to soften the blow of sony buying kadokawa, start off by giving us a free update to bloodborne, then maybe start discussing the possibility of a remake/sequel if the deal goes through.
Here’s a great idea for the Anniversary - how about a surprise drop of non-serial numbered 30th Anniversary PS5 Pros, along with some of the other 30th anniversary accessories? It would certainly align with the rumors of another 30th Anniversary Portal drop.

I loved Dark Souls, so a friend got me to try Bloodborn, and I absolutely hated it. I don't understand the obsession with that game. I could easily find 20 PS2 games that I would rather see remakes or Remasters of.

Just about every PS2 game upscaled to 4x looks and plays like a modern game they wouldnt have to do much to remaster the whole catalog.

I'm waiting for My First Gran Turismo, which actually isn't. My actual first was the OG GT1 on the PS1. I find kind of silly that Sony releases a demo waaaay long after releasing the "full" game, a game that predates more on the customers' wallets than on their nostalgia. I'll try the demo but I'm really skecptical about it changing my mind for a game that failed its most diehard fans.
I doubt their will be a State of Play next week, and Sony will just announce the new accessories with the black colorway on a Blog post. But who knows, I could be wrong.

I got a PS5 on sale for black Friday. I got the digital version for $370 was a really good deal saving $70. I will buy the disc drive eventually but it was nice to have the option to buy the cheaper digital one as I didn't have enough for the disc console.
