Stage 1 is finally happening! With the Tab Performance slip-on, the bike needed to breathe better. I chose the Arlen Ness Big Sucker as it is an iconic product. Look for the FP3 tune and test ride videos coming soon!🤘🏻😆🤘🏻
Awesome video !👍Will be ordering one for my 2019 heritage !!! My question is would I be able to use a " LIVE TO RIDE " air trim cover on this big sucker ??
Do you recall the size of the countersunk hex bolt used to fasten the decorative cover? I chose an aftermarket cover and did not receive the bolt or spacer in my kit. Thanks.
Nice job on the video and cool background music. What brand of torque wrench did you use? I have been shopping for one in inch pounds and one in foot pounds.

That FP3 will really open her up!🤘
Such a classic looking air cleaner. It goes fantastically with the M8.
FranBunnyFFXII I agree😆
Great video, very well done. Made my install a extremely easy.
Very good install video D!! Man, really liking that voice over.
Tony Cox The cicadas were way too thick for decent audio during install. Had to go this route!
Excellent install vid....much better looking and I’m sure the performance will be stellar.
kidmoto22 Love the look! There is definetly a boost in performance.👌🏻
That looks sharp! Good install video.
Appreciate that! 👍🏻
Great install as always buddy. Can’t wait to hear how much of a difference it made.
That video is in the works for sure. Thanks for watching!
Damn D! Now that was an awesome tutorial!!! 👏👏👏👏
Wet BananaMoto 🤘🏻😆
Good install video brother, well done 💯
Dannyboy17685 Thank you! This was alot of work videoing this one. The air cleaner was a long time coming!
@@DCyclemoto most things that are good are worth waiting for Brother 👍 💯
Looks Great. Mine should be here this week :D
I’ll be cleaning and re-oiling my filter this weekend.
how are we sure the umbrella bolts holes line up with the tubes that feed into the intake area?
Thanks.
Does it stick out more or less than the stock HD filter? Can you hear much more noise from it over stock?
jimbert50 it’s about the same, just not as wide. Noise isn’t affected.
Can factory breather bolts (with the nipple) be used vs the supplied bolts to vent into catch ?
What are the white spacers for , I can’t find any use for them when it comes to the m8 install ?
Are you talking about the cover spacer?
Awesome video !👍Will be ordering one for my 2019 heritage !!! My question is would I be able to use a " LIVE TO RIDE " air trim cover on this big sucker ??
I do not have an answer for that, sorry.
Looks good.
BCB SILVER HAWK Love how this looks on my bike!🤘🏻😆
Do you have a follow up video after so many months with this on your sport glide I'm interested to know the pro and cones you've experienced with it?
Damitejo Dahcluolk Zero cons really. Only have to reoil it periodically.
Do you recall the size of the countersunk hex bolt used to fasten the decorative cover? I chose an aftermarket cover and did not receive the bolt or spacer in my kit. Thanks.
I’m sorry I do not have that information. You can call Arlen Ness’ Tech line at 925.479.6379 they will help u out.
D-Cycle no problem brother. I did exactly that and was able to get the info. Thanks
Looks good
9mm james I agree! Love it.
Hey, I love your videos! I see you put the TAB slip on onto your bike and added this air cleaner. Did you tune right after?
Yes!
How did you find one with that color filter? I only see red filters.
gmckenziejr82 Get Lowered sent me that black filter as an “upgrade”.
Looks much better
any problems with oil from breather bolts
Nope
What's the reservoir for is it used for oily misty residue or something does it the fill up?
It acts as a reservoir by stopping any excess breather oil from ever reaching the air filter
Is the arlen big sucker kit any better than the screaming eagle hi flow kit ??
I paid less for the Arlen Ness and they are a reputable company with decades of making high quality parts. Best part...it works great!
@@DCyclemoto thanks!! Really thinking about getting on !!
Easy to install and great performance!
Nice job on the video and cool background music. What brand of torque wrench did you use? I have been shopping for one in inch pounds and one in foot pounds.
Jim Rides HD It’s a Craftsman. Works well. It has NM and inch pounds. Have to convert for foot lbs.
Did you notice any HP gains on this big sucker kit ??
After a tune, absolutely! Runs so much better.
