Hey just to comment on placement of the FP3 on the Sport Glide.. I took off both side covers and placed the FP3 from the right side in a small gap in front of the battery, fits really snug there. Then I pulled the ECM plug from the left side to the right, basically on top of the starter, in order to give more slack I cut the zip tie holding everything together. Then plugged in the FP3, nice clean and safe, you wouldn't know it was even in there.
I always enjoy watching your how to vids. Regardless as to whether or not they cover something I intend to do. They just have a really good vibe to them. And you explain things so clearly.
Thank you so much for these vids! I have not decided if the SG will be my next bike but if it is, I am going to customize mine EXACTLY like you have done yours. The changes you are making are how I would want mine to be.
yes i fitted the FP3 and have a Cobra muffler and screaming eagle Extreme flow air filter. some people might not realise that if you leave the FP3 connected, you can then read sensor data on your smartphone, i have mine mounted on handle bar and set up to give me a Rev counter on big central display and then the 4 small corner displays i have battery voltage, engine temp, gear selected and miles per gallon, but there are lots of other things you can select. and also keeping it plugged in you often get updates from V&H when you turn ignition on. good clear video, ride safe
I went with the PV for my Sport Glide from Fuel Moto. They gave an extra year warranty and tune updates anytime I need them. You definitely need to auto tune, made a huge difference in how it ran after modifications.
Hey D-C,yet another relevant vid on improving your SGlide. Warranty? My dealer is no-no.However I'm getting close to selling or saying to hell with them as I love my SGlide and "improve it as I see fit. D-C keep up the good work
I really don't understand, I wrote e-mail two times to v & h and both time they told me that the best map for tab performance with zombie baffles is the generic, typical 2 into 1 map. I am starting to think that they absolutely have no idea about which is the best option.
@@DCyclemoto I tried autotune starting from generic typical 2 into 1 map but the bike now is too lean for me.... I will try to do auto tune starting from the same map you are using....let'see..... By the way, did you already tried? How are the results?
@@DCyclemoto I try the same map (propipe). The canned map is very good, absolutely better than the the generic typical 2-1 which I was using. I used the propipe map for 100km and then I did 3 autotuning session of 30 minutes, for a total of 90 min. Riding in a lot of different style, different speed and different streets. The result is something I cannot explain with words.....A MONSTER!!!!!!!! Just a little decell pops but can be fixed with the decell pop feature.

I blew my warranty within 3 months. Added heavy breather, S&S Super Street pipes & 465 cam, Rekluse Auto clutch, V&H tuner and finished with new V-Twin Manufacturing heavy duty clutch compensator and heavy duty chain - your gonna need those last two items (stock clutch compensator is a piece of crap and Harley knows it). That’s how you turn a dog into a 124 torque quarter horse!
Curious why you went with the FP3 over Screaming Eagle? You were ok on your warranty right up to that point. I prefer the FP3 myself but if I went your route I would have done the full exhaust. Great videos and bike is coming along nicely!
Hey, thanks for the compliment! FP3 offers way more plus is more user friendly. I would have loved to do a full system, but its expensive compared to the Tab slip on. Some V&H longshots would be sweet. Happy with the Tab though.
Nice one! Once you have changed your air filter and tuned your bike, do you need to retune it if you want to install an other air filter? My air filter is too big I would like a thinner one and my bike has already been tuned stage 1...
I know, I know...my warranty just went bye-bye! Do you have a FP3 on your Milwaukee 8? Comment below!
You didn't void your entire warranty.
That's the first thing I did when I got mine... it saves the factory map...
Dang, dude! You've got these how to and review videos polished. Voice overs are flawless
Great Egret polished like the chrome knobs on the peg boards!

Galen Tong Good to know! Glad you enjoy the videos! More on the way!
@@DCyclemoto Yes please do make more! If you went with all screaming eagle for the tuner and air intake, would that have saved your warranty?
Galen Tong Mosy likely, yes. Haven’t heard the greatest stories about the SE tuner though.
Great video. Just did a DKCustoms air cleaner and power vision on my '18 SG. Worked great!
Nice video, looking forward to hearing about the results
That should be up by mid-week

Where were u able to stick the fp3 and keep it plugged in? Its pretty tight behind the side cover.
it is tight under the side cover but will fit and i have it cable tied to the fuse box
Good Fp3 video D. I really dig the voice overs.
A little more work but better than cicadas! Thanks for watching, mang!

I most likely will run autotune. Thanks for the tip!👍🏻

Well done
And very helpful

Angelo Drum I have not tried yet. I am still getting through the two tanks of fuel first. I will update if I try autotune.

Great vid! I put in the link for the air-intake (pn 18-307) and it said it was wrong for the bike and corrected to pn18-318? Any thoughts? Thx!
