Thanks for watching! I'm amazed by Ireland's wind energy success story. Which energy storage technology discussed in the video do you think has the most potential for the future? Share your thoughts below! #WindEnergy
Let’s be clear for wind turbines . Production costs for each turbine ? + Assembly costs ? + Services ? + Power distribution ? + Battery storage ? + Connection to grid ? + ENVIRONMENT with millions turbines towers on the shore or offshore ? + Dependencies of the wind movement ? + How long turbines can last ? + Recycling ? + Question. Which city has been running just with wind turbines power supply and how long it lasts ??? By my opinion these experiments are equally hard to understand like BIG CARGO SEEPS RETURN TO SAIL WITH PADDLES.
What do those vast fields of coastal wind turbines do to the flocks of migrating seabirds that used to flock on the Irish coast? What do the vibrations they create do to the marine life?
Mi solution ,imagin you have 50 wind turbines for just compress air al the air wil go to a single generator thus elimination of neodinium magnets and gear boxes ,use the tower as air tank that is a free storage because is already partof the sistem, compressed air can be produce at different RPM and output control by just opening valves in the head cilinder. This could allow to simultaneous attached a gas turbines to the shafts of the generator making the sistem a uninterrupted electricity production.
Problem is cost.. Hinckley point c is a 10 year build costing 46 billion for 6 GW capacity.. Hornsea 3 wind farm is 3 GW, 2 year build and costs 2.85 billion… it’s now literally either dumb or corrupt to build anything other than renewables
Your thinking is all supply side! Frequency keeping can also be done with demand side responses. Hydrogen is pointless as with the move to electric transport you gain almost all the storage needed for stable grid operation. Wind, solar and hydro will power humanity's present and future.

All countries without fossil fuels should turn to Atomic power. Runs 24/7 with relatively little risk.
Exactly my idea too. Even the 'waste' problem is nothing compared to the waste that windmills and solar panels generate every few decades.

So...Wind turbine
Your title was an inaccurate attention grabber. Nothing shocking in the report just good reporting. I subscribed.
i am 5 minutes in, and the video has already repeated itself. You are a bot
