Man what is the best way to get video onto your computer from the iPhone? Air drop takes to long for my talking head videos, and the uploading it directly with cable has been buggy as hell for me

I love your FCPX and Motion videos. I have a Iphone 14 pro and when I use cinematic mode everything works fine until I bring it into FCPX. In Air dropping the file I made sure to click on "all Photos data" but only a single file was sent, making it impossible to edit on FCPX. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having an extremely hard time with the HDR Tools. When I apply it, the color of my videos goes way off. Then I adjust the color settings in FCP to get it looking right, but once I export the video everything looks blown out again. I'm pulling my hair out!!!!! AHHHHH!
Thanks for the video and all the info, I am running Final Cut Pro 10.4.6 and I have the HDR tool but I do not have the HLG to Rec 709 SDR option in the list, my HDR Tools list is limited to the following options: HDR to REC 709, PQ Output Tone map, HLG to PQ (Rec. 2100), PQ to HLG (Rec. 2100). And none of them is giving me the result you are showing. What can I do in this case ? I appreciate your help :)

It's interesting because I am working so hard on building my channel. I have some really high end gear in both audio and video. I have 2300 subs, but I now need to climb the mountain for the 3K of watch hours I am going to need. I have done over 1K in shorts, but they count towards nothing. ha. Of course they are all mini ads for my long form videos. 2 days ago I decided to shoot a close up of my hands playing a certain guitar part. I used nothing but my iphone and did zero editing in final cut except for a fade in and out. haha. That video just passed 1K in views and is climbing. I think I will have to give this cinematic mode a go. Does anyone know the best way to color correct iphone footage in final cut? Seems like there is a whitish hue to everything. Sorry, but I'm a musician first so....haha. Thanks all!

You should update! The new version doesn't even require you to mess with these settings.
