i love the VFX; i can understand what why what he's doing is so incredible so much easier.. without the floating button pushes I wouldn't realize that he's not doing a regular pattern on the right hand... watching shiftee is making me appreciate this music so much more

if you want music with more structure go listen to a release track or album, but don't hate on one of the worlds most talented DJs just because you don't understand what category he fits in to.

I normally have something to complain about with DJ Schiftee's NI promotion videos. But damn he nailed this one! His timing was spot on most of the time and as infrequent as it was, the times his was slightly off just proved this was all being done manually. Big up for Shiftee!
Cut 'em up, Shift! This may be the greatest NI video of all time. Shiftee is flexing so many skills, it's hard for my brain to even comprehend. Shows you why turntablism, controllerism and good old fashioned button pushing are imperative to the game in the modern age. It's extremely rare (like one in a billion) for one person to have such a handle on all three skills. Massive Respect, Shiftee!

The NI logo seems reversed but somehow the MIDI port is on the right side.
@@RinaldoJonathan it’s Mk2 because it has multi colour pads. Mk1 had orange pads :)

+Elpidio Granatello I had to do a lot of experimenting before I got instant response, first off if you use a laptop get a third party sound card that is made for real-time use. If you are using a desktop, get a multi output studio card. You will have more latency adjustments with higher end cards.

RainbowDashie Your opinion should be stated, "I didn't like this". Saying, "not that good" implies..well, that it isn't good/quality/skillful. Shiftee is a DMC world champion. He's good. This was good. Pretty damn creative and skillful. If you didn't like it, fair play. The way you stated it leaves it pretty open for argument.
I have used this kind of setup before and what he is doing literally sounds like what I did (It was my first time ever doing it)

Ozterkvlt This is only a demo to show off the equipment that Native Instruments creates, just to show the possibility's that can be done..Its not supposed to sound "good" or have a "beat". If you want something that your ears can listen to easy this is not the place.

I bought the Z2 (I connected two turntables + Timecode Vinyl via Chinch) everything works perfectly, but the two Rel/Intl buttons don't turn orange when I press them 😢
And
I read that you have to set it to Chinch to scratch
Have I connected something wrong or do I need to change something in the settings in Traktor? Thanks
