I work in the car rental business, your reviews have come in handy having a little bit more knowledge on our vehicles than is expected. My customers have even noticed and appreciate the amount of information in able to provide.
I just bought one of these and am impressed with the build quality. Dash is seamlessly put together. Ride is very smooth and quiet. Power is ample and very drivable with quick downshifts when needed. Also excellent gas mileage for such a large roomy car.
I've had a 2015 300S since virtually new, and it's been holding up fine without any issues. I had a Dodge Ram 1500, which I sold at 260,000 miles without any power-train issues. I have friends with older 300s and Magnums with over 250,000, and even a couple over 300,000 miles.
I just want to say... I really appreciate what you're doing here with this channel! This is by far my favorite vehicle related channel I am subscribed too and I really hope you continue to make videos for years to come! You're hard work does not go unnoticed!
+Engineering Explained Im a new subscriber and i am loving your content. If i may pitch a request, could you take a look at the Aventador or 650S? would love to hear your thoughts on them thanks!
Thank you for a very complete, unbiased, technical description of your impressions. I gained more technical information of the Chrysler 300 from your video than from any others that I have found on UA-cam.
Dude you and Savagegeese are my favorite review channels. You guys could review a ham sandwich and I'd still give that vid a thumbs up. Awesome vids and keep up the good work!
Great review! Such a beautiful underrated car, would love to have one. If you ever feel like doing a retro review would you consider a 1998 Ford Explorer 4Door with the 4.0 SOHC 5-Speed Auto? My parents had this car when I was a kid it would be interesting to see how well it would do compared to new cars thanks.
Excellent analysis on what appears to be a surprisingly very good car. If it just had a hood ornament, I'd buy one. I still might. Despite the lack of ornamentation. It really does appear to be a strikingly well thought-out vehicle. And are commentator. did an excellence job.
Helpful and informative review; keep it up! However, due to the fact that this vehicle consists of a VVT engine, the vehicle actually has 300HP and 262lb-ft of torque.
Thanks for the video review on this model year 300. It is a very nice looking car but I'm concerned about the electronic controlled transmission. What is your take on the electronic transmission? I'm starting to see these in a lot of newer model vehicles.
nice review, not too long of a video and informative. saw that honda has intro the all new 2016 odyssey...can u review that the top end trim with features pack and drive quality?
You should check out a 2015 Taurus SHO. I know it isn't brand new tech, but the lack of a quality review for any 2010-2015 SHO is sickening. very surprising performance for the weight. And badge lol.
Actually a nice car. Just be careful, if you find drops of oil on the garage floor or driveway, replace the oil cooler immediately, preferably with an all aluminum cooler, not the plastic cooler the factory installs on all Pentastar v6's. Due to heat from the engine the cooler is subject to developing leaks over time and eventual catastrophic failure. It happened to me, still like the car though.
Love my 300s drove the six and went back to the Hemi as my 2006 c was. Hard to downsize. Hemi is worth the power. Standard stereo is ok. Need the beats or the top shelf Harmon kardon. I do t have that cruise control issue. Odd to hear.
+Sebastian Rosenberg Yep, it actually turns on the reverse camera if you put it in reverse (interestingly enough). I was surprised by that. You can do it on the highway, not that you should. It won't engage the gear until you've basically stopped, so it's the equivalent of putting it in neutral.
I think what really kills the acceleration even on the V6 is the final drive even with an 8 speed auto - factory isn't it a 2.73 ? - 8 gears - even a 3.23/3.27 would help drastically but not ruin fuel economy (for those worried about gas mileage) - that super low final drive kills all acceleration on the V6 - the ZF box is fantastic but yeah.... love the 300 regardless
I’m 19 looking for my 2nd car I’m looking for a reliable car that’ll last me n that’s good on gas. But I also wanna be able to have a fast car. Is this car for me?
I rent this once. I am 6 1 tall. The seat seemed a little too high for me. Couldn't find the right way to adjust it. So my head just touched the roof all the time...
Buyer's beware, anyone in the market for a 300, Charger or Challenger check the entire front suspension for rust. I have a brand new 300s with less than 300 miles on it and my entire front suspension looks like the parts came off the Titanic and I'm not talking surface rust. I learned after I discovered this issue a week after purchasing the vehicle and Chrysler won't stand behind any repairs! I will never purchase another Chrysler/Dodge vehicle again after having to deal with this problem!
I just have test driven my friend's 2013 chrysler 300 V6 and i was shocked of how much cheap material was involved in the interior, the engine and the transmission felt a litle rough but they were responsive, and the way i heard the sound of the engine made me feel that chrysler was made lots of shortcuts of isolating the cabin and this is no good for a car that is marketed as a premium sedan. although it's a rear wheel drive sedan and the way it looks on the road attract people's eyes around you. It just needs some little tweaks.
The 2015s and up are a huge improvement over the 2013 models. By that time, the 2013s were in dire need of an update, and I think Chrysler waited a couple years too long to refresh the interior.
WarmSoftKitty Sadly I'm not lying, this was my experiment with this car. Can you prove that the cabin is well isolated? If i have never driven one then how i felt the sound proofing is poor? I'm not going to be aggressive with you sir, but from my understanding this car looks like your first premium sedan so you felt that I'm lying. So, tell me please how do you see the quality of the black plastics around the info screen between the tachometer and the speedometer? and how do you see the quality of the center console? If you were comparing this car to a hyundai accent then sure it will have a premium interior and i would be a liar.
We are talking about affordable premium options not the top end sedans, are you with me in this matter? I believe the 300 is marketed far from it's true position, if it was truly fit the description then we should have seen more selling numbers for this model. I hope for the best, because i myself love RWD cars.
That stupid knob, I hate it. I rented one of these for three months to see if it was worth buying but that transmission knob just turned me off. You would have thought that they would have learned from BMW's knob-nightmare that knobs aren't good for anything except volume and climate.
I hope the next generation model doen't switch to FWD, or else no V8 or Hellcat engine would fit, and torque steer would be present. AWD would still be optional. It could be lighter with high-strength steel and aluminum.

All the sudden I'm in the mood for Purple Drank
That's funny right there, I don't care who yar.
Yay! Was looking forward to this review ever since you got the vehicle.
loving the intuitive videos and they are helping me learn a lot about cars.

The texture was firm, to my liking, but the meat was too juicy for my tastes. Also, the bread was dry. Really? In 2015?
Thanks. I just bought one today and this is the ONLY VIDEO THAT EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!!
good video very informative information. Im diffinitely considering getting a chrysler 300 2015.
300s and the new dodge chargers are bad ass
This it's a very cool car
your reviees are fully packed with good info
Awesome car reviews. Was wondering if you can explain engine breaking.
I snapped up one of these in the last year they made them - 2023. Excellent car.
Have a 2013 base model love the car major upgrade from my 04 impala!
longer wheelbase than the Escalade, wow! Especially for a sedan.

its a great highway cruiser car!
Helpful and informative review; keep it up! However, due to the fact that this vehicle consists of a VVT engine, the vehicle actually has 300HP and 262lb-ft of torque.
GANGSTER ride!
I am wondering why you never do Audi and BMW review and test drive...
You could compare it to Audi A8 or BMW 7

Don't really like Chrysler, but this car looks pretty damn good
Oh wow. This car is and looks massive.
Still no Italian influence has trickled down to it. Is the battery in the back really helps? Or is it more the Mercedes DNA still there.
sweet review
Is that a ZF Transmission?
Yes
Think you can get your hands on a 2015 Ford Focus ST?

Can you do a review on the 2015 Jetta gli
Do you think they'll ever put the 3.0L ecodiesel in the 300 and chargers, I saw a review of the European 300 a few years back and it had diesel

What I got from this video is that the Escalade is basically an FRS

Aren't those buttons on the back of the wheel for selecting a gear?
Pretty sure those are radio controls, but don't quote me on that!
Changes station or volume.
Is it possible to accidentally turn the gear selector?
+Sebastian Rosenberg Yep, it actually turns on the reverse camera if you put it in reverse (interestingly enough). I was surprised by that. You can do it on the highway, not that you should. It won't engage the gear until you've basically stopped, so it's the equivalent of putting it in neutral.
