I like when you build or repair stuff you throw a coat of paint on it. Serves two purposes. Preventing rust. Makes your equipment look more professional. Keep up the great work.
dude first time commenting. hi from Cornwall in the united Kingdom, love what you have done to your property and I must say you picked a nice place. love the drone footage good video. need to go back and view some more of you videos. thank you for sharing
Just found your channel tonight. After watching a few videos, I got the mental picture that you were on the top of a hill. Looks now like it closer to the bottom of a mountain! Fascinating building you have there.
Great job building the sweeps , I didn't see my old Buddy Levi nowhere on this one , It's always a pleasure to see the dogs involved and enjoying life while your enjoying being creative . The drone footage is always appreciated and complimented with the music . Thank You .... for all your hard work .
Just a tip Andrew, I’ve watched this once before but here I am again, I’m a plumber and solder goes where the heat is. If you want to go up, move the heat above where your soldering
I ran dozer many years in WV doing clearing, the grill bars are a great idea but you may find that branches and logs will get caught under them and get caught . Up and down works much better
@@wetdixiebellelingerie3014 My work was in oilfield construction, North Central part of the state. Doddridge,Harrison, Richie. Upshur, Lewis, Tyler and other counties just all over. I worked from 1978 to 1988 doinf oilfield work always something interesting going on.
@@johnanders8861 Oilfield construction north central part ot the state but really all over the state. Worked oilfield from 1978 to 1988. Interesting work.
@@williamscott6325 i have property in Tyler county near 18 on duckworth ridge. I also have some property in Wheeling, WV what a small world. Maybe by some stoke of luck you excavated/ dozed out couple gas lines we had put in.
I really liked the part where Andrew seemed to be teaching someone else and just standing there and offering advice. I'm going to guess that person was his Son and he was being an awesome Father. About 7 years ago I did that with my Daughter Tara, She asked me to teach her how to correctly operate a bandsaw. I stood back, watched and advised as She made 7 Adirondack chairs which are still used and admired today.
The solder you were using is rosin core. That type of solder is used soley for electrical (radio) connections. When you return to repair it again (and you will) use acid core or silver solder.
The limb risers turned out great and actually look like a factory option. Be careful clearing brush especially if you have a lot of small evergreen like spruce. A trunk or limb can snap and come straight back at you like a spear when you’re operating it just like the piece that took out your radiator.
Awesome! That is so cool! Great repair on the cat, but the drone footage is just incredible! Wow! I think I had watched this video once before but, is definitely worth watching again!!
Beautiful property and surrounding. I had to watch, pause, replay the drone footage several times. Where I'm from, the area is mainly flat, and recreation is far and few between.
What a nice D4. Too bad on the rad but you fixed it. Good extension on the ROPS. We use the Phantom 4 in both regular and Pro for our shots. Loved the drone footage.
We love your work we watch every video I can't wait for another one to come avery time I feel like I no you you are a good person I thank your dad is cool to it would be cool to hang out with you and him good luck on your work I love your dog's I have too my shift
Andrew, do you have a crazy party going on upstairs??? It's fun to watch you working so hard! You always make it entertaining too. Someday I hope to have some big toys just like you!!!
Really like what you've done with the place Andrew. You gotta Regular PONDEROSA going on there. Love the drone footage as I've liked aerial shots all my life....
Nice mods Andrew. Can't figure how you guys operate over there with open cabs! Around where I am, we have the opposite problem, it's been over 44degC (about 110degF) air temps. We were installing cable on the steel roof of a sale yard last week, roof temp 65C ... abt 150F it's a killer. Anyway, I'm enjoying your vids greatly. Cheers, MC from Aus.
6 way blades are the best. When I had my excavation business I had a Cat D4 too, but unfortunately it was only a four way. And mine did not have a cage either, crazy when I look back on it and all the tree and brush clearing I did without any protection, its a wonder I wasn't killed.
I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now. I like it when you explain what your going to do first before you start the work. I hate it when when I'm watching other guys work their equipment they talk too much and explain more than they need to and end up repeating themselves two or three times and their videos are so long. I get annoyed and go to another channel. And when you make a mistake you keep going until you fix it or find a way to adjust it to finish the task. You use a lot of common sense. Keep up the good work and give us more, longer videos. I don't mind watching one of your longer videos. I also like the fact that you work well with animals.
nice i want to build Rops and sweeps for my 310 also. had a hard time with my drone in my snowblower video going the right direction when its facing backwards
On my dozer I put two inch pipe up side down u shape on the top.of the blade, with some diagonal braces back towards the rear of the blade to stop from logs hitting my grill, basically making my blade taller but see through.
Also, that Dozer got like 30 badass points for the new cage on the front. I can see you like just pushing through the amazon with a bunch of headhunters coming after you in that thing.
Hey Andrew what about on the outside of that plastic filter make a wire mesh that would protect like that jeep off round taillight protection do on all ?🤔
Awesome spot for your property. awesome drone footage. You really live far out in the boonies. Is that whole area around your place yours? how big.....bet you could have big LOUD parties with no worry about disturbing the peace. I know this was made a year ago...I am binge-watching your videos from the beginning.....like anything to do with the dozer. Andrew: so today I'll be building an armored tank. It's my first time, but I'll just make this a 'how to video'. Ok! Let's get started on this tank.
