You do the absolute BEST Nespresso equipment and accessory reviews! Very detailed, practical, and down-to-earth. You answer all of the normal, real life questions people have about products which (strangely) go completely unanswered in most video reviews. You provide all the details, including exact dimensions and prices, and you aren’t afraid to give your own opinion, even if it’s negative. I am new to the world of Nespresso, and I consider you my guide! I very much appreciate all the time and effort you put into these reviews. Excellent, excellent content.
I'm late to the Nespresso game but had the same question as your mum. Thanks so much for demonstrating all of them side by side. Much better in this instance than a shorter unboxing video!
Thank you so much for doing this review. I absolutely find your review so helpful. I just bought me a new nespresso machine. I got the inissia. I wanted something small for my kitchen and I remember watching your review about it. I also decided to buy the cappuccino cups along with it. So exited to get them in the mail. Thank you again. I hope you and your family have a happy and blessed New year. Big thumbs up.
Hi mate. Great review. I've got few vertuo collection cups. Mug, cappuccino and recipe glasses. They are great and they come with really nice spoons. I've made grand lungo in cappuccino glass and it just fit. Keep doing great job.
Cheers mate, might have to try and get hold of those for a vertuo view cups video. A lot of people have vertuo machines now with the offers available don't they. Didn't know they came with spoons either.
We have the vertuo glasses and love them Something special to have a coffee in the glass Keep the good work coming Thanks to your wife for her acting hands 😂😂 Keep them coming guys
@@A2BProductionsFrom watching so many of your videOs we've come to refer to you as the "Talking Hand - Coffee Man". Really like and appreciate the info. Thanks
That was so interesting and the cups look gorgeous, what are they like to hold? You have a Pixe! If you lift the cup stand you can get larger cups or a mug in place. Looking forward to seeing you try that out. Oh yes please! Iced coffee demonstrations , I would love that. Many thanks as always 😀
Glad you liked it! Yes I got a pixie the other day, really like it actually but haven't used it a lot yet. Great question and something I should've included. I like them to hold, they're not too heavy and the handles are quite roomy but not too much, which is important for me as my hands are pretty big. With the Pure collection espresso cups for example i can only just hold them. The folding shelf is good on the pixie too isn't it, I was surprised how light it is so doesn't move the cups at all even when they're empty. Will include all that when I review it though. Will have a go at an iced one too 👍
Really informative videos you both put together...thank you. Who would have thought I would spend so much time looking into coffee cups!! I really like the glass idea so you can see the coffee itself. With the 20% off it seems cheaper to but them new rather than second hand. So I think you have definitely sold the View ones to me now 😃 interestingly the pixie cups don't allow much room for milk but it seems the View cups do?
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the pixie cups are more designed for black coffee really, lungo or espresso but I guess you could fit a little milk in them. Whereas the View cups have that little bit more room for milk. Only 20ml though when comparing to the pixie lungo cups.
Nice video as always. i have been using nespresso for years i have the older view collection. and still use them today, i have the VertuoPlus machine and a older nespresso latisimo touch love them both, i think you will find when creating the expressos and smaller drinks on the VertuoPlus it creates more foam becuase you need to put the cups closer to the top , i think you will then find you get less foam/creamer then. I have jsut started to collect the Vertuo cup collection i bought the mug set first and was amazed at the wieght of them. anyhow keep up the good work.
Cheers Mark, appreciate that. Funny you should mention that as I've just ordered a Vertuo Mug set with my latest delivery. Looking forward to reviewing them on here too. Thanks for your comment 👍
Great video as always, thank you! I was waiting for it, wanted to see this View Collection! I have Lungo cups from this collection, it was my first purchase in accessories from Nespresso)) But when I saw Vertuo collection...I was fall in love in it - and I bought almost every type of cups))) Thanks for recipe of "flat white" coffee (I had another recipe - I took double espresso and 160 ml milk!), but after your video I want to make it like you did)) Was it tasty?)
Yeah my wife loves the flat white! I had a taste and liked it too, need to have a full one now. We just followed the recipe in the book that came with it, will give your way a try too! Think I'm going to have to get hold of some Vertuo glasses soon, lot of people seem to like them.
Thanks for the review. I ended up getting the cappuccino cups and they look great. Although with them being wide and short the center of gravity is further away from my hand than i'd like (cant hold them from the finger hole, when the cup is full). I may pick up the Lungo cups as they are taller and hold the same volume.
My wife has used them more than I have, so will check with her about that. Will try the lungo and cappuccino and come back as to whether the lungo is easier to hold too.
Love your channel and content. I purchased the CitiZ chrome and Aeroccino 4 as a direct result of watching your videos. Can you confirm if the saucers are identical and interchangeable between each cup size? Thanks!
Thanks and glad the videos have helped 🙂 The metal saucers for my lungo and cappuccino view cups are the same but the espresso saucers are quite a bit smaller. Hope this helps.
Hi 👋 They’re for a single espresso only. They used to be listed at 80ml capacity but when you add the crema on top a double espresso would overflow. A lungo cup is quite a nice size for a double espresso though.
Is it just me or do others think the cup handle design is flawed? Most coffee cups have slanted handle at the bottom, to rest your middle finger while your index finger loops into the handle. As these nespresso cups have round handles, it can burn my middle finger if I'm to hold it the same way as it is now making direct contact with the hot surface.
Hi there. My pixie only has 2 buttons, espresso and lungo. It starts blinking after pressing it once but I do have to press it firmly. If I press lightly I sometimes need to press it again. Hope this helps.
I love the View line above all others. However, it seems they are not well suited for some of the Vertuo line coffee sizes. Have you tried a capuccino made with a double espresso shot from the Vertuo inside the capuccino View cup?
I've actually never tried that you know and don't have a double espresso capsule in the house at the minute either. When I get some in future I'll definitely try it. My gut says there wouldn't be much room at all left for milk with the amount of crema it would create. We made a cappuccino with a Double Scuro capsule in the Vertuo Mug set a few months back, but never in the view cups.
Overflowing coffee again! Vertuo Plus 19 bar pump pressure extracts more from the pods so it is Crema apparently. Barista sounds quite noisy compared with Aeroccino 4. Thanks
Yeah guess they're not really designed for Vertuo coffees but think they were listed at 180ml capacity, so again could be confusing. With the Barista Maker it is much noisier but the more I use it the more I'm realising it's not really just a milk frother, it really is a recipe maker. The foam for the flat white for example is a completely different consistency to the aeroccino foam and my wife says it is much smoother to drink. And the way it whips up the skimmed milk to go on top of the Mocha Viennois is crazy. Will make that on a video soon to show you. Whether it's worth £179 or not is another matter 😬
Yeah it can be quite expensive the Nespresso stuff but the quality is usually good. Just to clarify for everyone by the way, the prices I mentioned in the video were all for the set of 2 cups and saucers. Think there was one point where I said £19 each but I was meaning for each set of 2 lungo or 2 cappuccino cups if that makes sense. Still not cheap though I know.
I do like the "N" branding but I don't care for the entire "Nespresso" spelled out. The N is a more elegant, discreet reminder of the quality of the brand, but I don't like feeling like I'm paying to advertise for them when they should be paying me 😂 Same way I feel about big designer logos on hand bags. If the brand shouts its label all over the bag, it's tacky.

Poorly designed glass cups. When the glass cup is full, it can be difficult holding the handle. ❌❌❌

Is the first cup shown for a single or double shot espresso?
Hi 👋 They’re for a single espresso only. They used to be listed at 80ml capacity but when you add the crema on top a double espresso would overflow. A lungo cup is quite a nice size for a double espresso though.

Thanks. Does Nespresso sell cups for Alto and Coffee.
Hi Jeff, yeah I think they do a View alto mug listed at 550 ml capacity (out of stock at the minute on the UK app) and an Alto travel mug too.
hi there. does your capsule container has light on the edges?
Hi there, do you mean led lights? If so then no I don't think it does.

Yeah it does as they're the same capacity 👍

No room to add milk. Baffles me how nespresso come up with things sometimes
