Kazaar is a good Grand Cru. The Maestro from Rosso Cafe is a really good coffee. Don't let the initial pull of the shot fool you. It's a very balanced, medium-body coffee. The Limited Edition Selection Vintage, on the other hand, is a pale coffee that I will not be purchasing again with too much of an acidic bite.
Smedsters agree, the 2014 is terrible. I'm a cappuccino drinker only, so I need a shot that's dark and full bodied, and so far Kazaar is really the only "coffee" coffee Nespresso make imo.
I'll have to try the Kazaar again with milk. I've been using the Ristretto, Arpeggio and Roma for lattes. I pull them as ristretto shots and often mix and match 2 shots of different Grand Crus resulting in a nice mix of slightly varying flavors. I spent several years using my Breville Dual Boiler and then Oracle pulling Starbucks Espresso Roast shots and using the Sugar-Free Vanilla Syrup from Starbucks. Now I drink my lattes without any syrup and just enjoy the flavor of the coffee without flavoring.
Smedsters buy yourself some 170ml Nespresso cappuccino cups and pour a kazaar 25ml ristretto and the rest frothed milk. Perfect milk to coffee ratio and my all time fav cup of coffee.
Yeah, Nespresso made a new view collection. The review has the old ones. Some people were complaining about the saucers and that the holder on the glass didn't have a hole. Nespresso made a new view espresso, lungo, cappuccino and recipe glass. The saucers on the new ones are from stainless steel and have a different look (Personally, I like them much more). The new view glasses also have a hole at the holder of the glass.
I just bought the view cappuccino cups (for double espresso) and the mug. They have changed the design of the glass as well as the saucer.
Thanks for listening my suggestion. Congratulations!
Thank you for the suggestion!
I have them and the cappuccino glassware.great review thanks
Thanks Wally! I'm still not crazy about the plastic saucers but don't know of any good alternatives.
I never use my saucers.i am getting the sage barista express on Saturday.
I've got the new Lungo View glass 2X
Nice
The pure collection is nicer with little price difference
No offense to you Smedster, but you should really try Nespresso's Kazaar capsule, the shot on this video looks horrid, way to pale.

the saucers are stainless steel!
No, they are a composite plastic.
must be a different model mate quote of nespresso website "The VIEW Collection saucers are made of stainless steel,"
If you’re in the United States, the plastic melamine saucers are on the website.

Poorly designed glass cups. When the glass cup is full, it can be difficult holding the handle. ❌❌❌
