Curving End Gussets

This vide discusses the tip you need to have smooth curved gussets in your bags that have end gussets. In the Leatherwork School book, end gussets are used in the clutch, enchape, top handle and round handle bags.

This is very helpful.I'm currently making a small bag and the gussets are driving me crazy.Wondering about linings and such,and also how to actually orient the gusset.The bag is a simple front piece,back piece with top flap and a gusset and I'm wondering if I should place the gusset arking outwards,inwards or in an S shape (one gusset edge goes in the bag and the other goes outside) . Any suggestions or tips would be very helpful !
