Adapting Gusset Patterns for Sewing Machine Use

Many patterns are designed for hand stitching the gusset into the bag body. If you want to machine stitch your bags, you might need to adapt your gusset pattern. This video shows you how to accomplish that.

Wow! Thank you! I was wasting so much leather trying to stitch around a gusset and this video completely solved my problem. I had even looked through your book, looking for an answer, not realizing it was there all the time in the Enchape Bag. I was able to adapt that piece for my tote and now I can sew around the gusset. Hi Maria - you need to adapt the patterns yourself. The patterns I provide with the book are for hand sewing.
