    I enjoyed all the information provided about Japanese Maples. I have two old weeping ones in my garden and never pruned them. I will try a bit to make them better. How many trees are in your private collection. Thank you Lynn and Jim. I enjoyed you bouncing off each other and your enthusiasim.

    Pretty sure JD vertrees found mikawa yatsabusa ... Also can i take seed from the arboretum?

      We have a seed exchange for members. Become a member of the arboretum and you can request seeds and have them mailed to you!

    Just as a clarification,,,japonica & shirasawanum have seed that go up and palmatum point seed down....

      @@silverbackag9790 yea it's technically the same plant as viridis just selected at waterfall State Park in New Jersey
