      @Hey Bubba Reno That's not the same. It's different when you are desperately trying to cry out something vs when you are just holding your breath and letting out a cry. If the defense said something like that, it'd be easily torn apart, and the jury wouldn't buy it unless they were idiots, so don't bother.

      @Korucuk kataloški broj Well I don't think that's the case. And even if it was, the bottom line is Chauvin delayed any treatment George was getting. Delays in treatment even by a few seconds can mean the difference between life and death.

    • @HelloHaven
      @HelloHaven 3 роки тому +63

      @Korucuk kataloški broj No he died in the street. The EMTs testified that he had no signs of life when they arrived and never regained any signs of life on the ride there. So he was dead in the streets, and "pronounced" dead at the hospital after they worked on him for more than an hour attempting to resuscitate. This is normal unless there is no chance of resuscitation, such as if you're decapitated in a car accident. In that instance, they will pronounce you dead without working to resuscitate. Sometimes people come back to life. My friend is a nurse and she told me how recently they worked on this one guy for over an hour and just as the doctor was about to call the time of death the guy regained vital signs. He's recovering now.
      She said her arms were very sore because she and the other nurses had to take turns doing chest compressions for such an extended period of time. It's not uncommon for them to work on people for that long in an attempt to resuscitate. We tend to see tv shows and movies where they do chest compressions for a minute or two and then the doctor pronounces them dead. In realities the nurses and doctors don't want to lose patients and often work to resuscitate for at least 30 minutes. After studies found that extended code blue efforts by 15 more minutes improves survival rate and brain function, medical personnel now tend to attempt code blue efforts for around 45 minutes. So there's nothing odd about him being pronounced dead 90 minutes after he arrived at the hospital. They were doing code blue efforts that entire time trying their best to bring this man back to life.

      @galaxyglitterlatte4664 3 роки тому +33

      @Korucuk kataloški broj You don't know what you are talking about. There is no way ahead of time to gauge the amount of pressure it takes to cut off someone's air supply when someone is on the ground with a knee on their neck. The only definite way to tell that it was too much pressure is the fact THAT HE DIED!! By then it's TOO LATE!!! Not only that, but he HAD MULTIPLE cops on top of him. AGAIN, more than 1 witness testified that the EMT had to PUSH Chauvin off of George to attempt to render aid to him. This shows Chauvin's attitude of arrogance and reckless disregard for George's life!!!

      So during the Derek Chauvin/ George Floyd trial today, the prosecutor’s brought an MMA fighter (who was also at the location of Floyd’s death) as a witness. The Defense was questioning him. Chauvin’s lawyer asked’ “During any of your fights, how many conversations have you had while being choked out?” Witness says, “You can’t talk while you’re being choked out. If you can’t breathe, you can’t talk.”
      Umm case closed right there. That backfired BIG time on the prosecution. Their own witness said you can’t talk while being choked out. Boom. Case closed.

WHITE SUPREMACISTS that have infiltrated Police Forces, Military Branches, FBI, CIA, DOJ, Judicial System, CONGRESS and SENATE MUST BE FOUND and PURGED from Government Jobs and LOSE their PENSIONS.

They were UNABLE to find them guilty of wrong doing because they were NOT RESPONSIBLE for procuring security at the Embassy. Yet those SAME scumbag Republicans have not said a peep about trump's White Supremacy, and his GROSS INCOMPETENCE and MALFEASANCE in allowing 500,000 Americans to DIE due his MISHANDLING of COVID19 Pandemic. Look at how tight lipped he is and the expression on his face when he takes the mask off. I definitely don’t think he was trying to intimidate a witness, let alone a child in the courtroom, because that would be obvious. But you can always tell a cop by their posture, lack of facial expression, etc.
      She realized the moment she saw him that if the trial doesn’t go well it could have negative repercussions on her or her loved ones. This story is tragic but now George can rest easy knowing that he has become the BIGGEST martyr for the cause of equality and equity in the US. There are so many to name, just watch the vid of George’s brother naming off all of the BIPOC murders that were “newsworthy”, let alone the thousands that didn’t get the attention that George’s case did. He was about to stop and I was like “What about Philando Castile”, that was shocking, he literally had his hands on the steering wheel and was with his wife, completely complying with an escalating traffic stop and then the officer dumps 3 to five rounds in his chest. Police are taught to triple-tap, two in the chest one in the head, the marines don’t even do that! They will train you to shoot to wound because that takes more combatants off of the battlefield while they try and save their wounded. He did mention Philando at the end and he was super emotional, I don’t blame him.
      It just speaks volumes on how many of these cases made it to the public eye; and still the majority ended up with no consequences or paid suspensions. I hope this changes how we investigate police homicide. It’s a conflict of interest, no matter what race, gender, creed, sexual-orientation, gender-expression you are, the police work with people in the courts day in day out, and they have relationships with them. There needs to be a third party who conducts the investigation and not the local PD because PD’s protect their officers whether they were in the right or the wrong because they humanize them Then they go about the process of dehumanizing the deceased like they did George, trying to point out his opiate addiction and his erratic behavior as a justifiable reason for manslaughter, if not out right 3rd degree murder. /endrant

Imagine someone shoots you in the chest, and you’re dying; however, before you can actually die from that chest wound, somebody else comes up and shoots you in the head. You probably would have died from that shot to the chest eventually, but it’s not what killed you, the shot to the head is what killed you.

      Because the prosecution doesn't give a sh't about her or the additional trauma that having to remember the scene in front of others, cameras, judges etc. They just want to make emotional points by displaying a traumatized child to the jury. Anything to win! Her recollection of emts pushing chauvin off is not accurate, he stood up, without being pushed or anything else, as soon as the stretcher was prepared. So either the prosecution coached her or she's (most likely) reimagining it in her mind over and over again with details changing.

      @@jasonsanders6630 It's true you can talk while breathing, maybe not to discuss, but words like I can't breathe I think meets the criteria. Please look it up and I also gave you the example of Eric Garner. If a police officer kneeling on someone's neck for 9 minutes and 26 seconds, I think they should take, "I can't breathe" into consideration. I think that sets a dangerous precedent. You can talk while you breathe, therefore a police officer shouldn't let up. It also says someone saying "I can't breathe" isn't enough to ease up or put in a position where you can breathe. When do you think a police officer should ease up and do you think it would be ok for citizens to intervene? Do you think citizens that choose to intervene in these incidents should be charged?
