Yep, instabuy here as well, I've been messing around with it ever since. Really appreciate your video breaking stuff down while playing with it, as it gave me a lot of ideas!
I gave this a really good demo. Amazing presets. This isn't really a Minimoog clone anymore. It's a sound design machine. The feedback barely does anything, and there is some overall distortion around 1.5khz when using 4 or more oscillators. So when 6 oscillators are going through the filter with a tone of effects, I heard digital distortion and aliasing. Overpowered machine going through the old filter? Basically stick to the presets and don't touch the filter unless going down. Hope that gets improved, or there is oversampling (RIP CPU).
One of the best sounding VSTs around. The update adds a great deal of modulation options and the filter bank is a nice addition. Not to keen on the FX, but they're not terrible...but the raw sound of this is...hard to believe these tones come from a plug in, but they do.
Excellent tour, thanks! I had access to a Moog System 55 back in the day (early 70's) and could get lost for hours just creating sound. This looks to be pretty similar in function. Except for the cables, of course.
Love the render of your voice, very pleasant. I bought Diva, impossible to go back to SPire and Sylenth etc, those analog emulation are fantastic ; gonna buy it on black Friday (hope tyhey'll make a price fee.. big budget all of this for a hobby :D) Thanks for this vid
This is so awaited update, finally we have a proper modulation matrix, and wow +3 OSC's?) but I’m not surprised, because this is a Synapse Audio with its 1000 oscillators in Dune😎
Hi, so no FM and no syncing osc, just traditional stuff? With 6 FM osc / operators and some more MSEG’s, plus sync it would be the only synth I’d use. Hopefully synapse upgrades this beast?
3 things I miss is are Macro knobs... to glue all the possibility & options simple together .... a midi map page, ..... plus a better footwitches control settings page .....
I’ll grab it on sasle…soon, I own all their Orher products. Their first stab at the mini (no pun) was…well, I had a hard time making it sound beautiful. This new one is Cat’s Meow, despite he fact I’m very Married to Minimonsta 2 (and faithful, mostly. I’m a fallen human, so, yeah, I’ll cheat with this tart.
Firstly, the Legend was a minimoog emulation and still hold the top spot, save Softube 72. Secondly, the Legend HZ is not a minimoog emulation, it's a different animal completely. It's like comparing a Roland D50 with a D70 , it's D70 not a D50. Having said that, the 'Legend HZ' is just an incredible synth and it doesn't really have to be an emulation of anything, it's just incredible for a measly £180. Just a fantastic musical instrument.
Moog Minimoog and Modular and Arp 2600 are first synths that I was exploring and learning (well Arturia emulations). Because of those synths I know how to programm synths. Anyway...legend sounds quite nice! ...overdrive is still not convincing me entirely but doesn't sound bad at all.
I own all SYNAPSE products EXCEPT Legend. LHZ sounds great....and I'll probably buy the dmaned thing. But...to me, I quickly default to Minimonsta2 and WAKEMAN. My p[roblem: I always go for the sounds Rick Wakeman produced, so...when I think of VINTAGE MINI, I alrways hear his sounds in my head. I own OBSESSION , buy I see why Tom O. signed off on what Dave Spiers. Same with GForce--I own 'em ALL...except for the BOSA NOVA MELLATRON ...the Moody double keyboard one. So, I own 'em all on both sides! Sounds like everybody wins, huh?
Hmmm the synth is called The Legend HZ … he himself had input into it to reflect his massive modular… and make using it easy. I demo the cinematic tones he’s made for it.. based on some of the sounds in his movies. Not sure where the clickbait is exactly 🤷♂️.. or did you think it was going to show you how to become Hans Zimmer. Odd.
Got this as soon as it came out. It sounds smooth and the low end is amazing.
Such a cool update to the original Legend. This sounds amazing!
Thanks very much, always enjoy your synth skills and comments! Got the LegendHZ as Upgrade a few days ago and have a lot of fun with it...
Thanks.. it's nice isnt it?
Its wonderful for a software synth! Thanks!
Honestly you could score many, many films with just this single plug-in. Incredible!
This thing is a beast. Surface level is quite simple but it can go really deep. And the bass is unreal.

The feedback is kind of reliant on the rest of the patch, especially resonance. It can get pretty over the top actually.
this is a great synth I love it, been using it quite a bit lately in my cinematic stuff
Yes I too bought this as soon as it landed and it's a proper beast for a VST . Very impressive
wow dude those cinematic sounds are epic

Thank you for your video. Enjoyed it. I demoed it today and i totally love its sound. When the effects are turned of its wonderful raw

i also ordered minutes after i found out as I had the previous version anyway and it is an amazing update, loving it!
Thank you for making this video. I was leaning toward buying this, and your video definitely put it over the top for me.
This was really fantastic. I just got a Faderfox PC12 that has about 80 knobs. Seems like a good companion
Sounds Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the 411, definitely picking this up now. Sounds lovely.🔊✨✨✨✨
I love your channel mate 🙌🏼
Sounds beautiful! So much fot techno type of stuff! Hope its got a demo !
Oh just noticed they have dune 3 too, do you have a preference over dune and this?
Love the render of your voice, very pleasant.

9:10 On the big modular moog you cant modulate the bands on the fixed filter bank.
been really useful, I used it for my hybrid orchestral stuff but also for my techno project ... Are there more pro sound banks?
Actually on expressivee 3 banks
The sound is great this thing is a total beast, but I wish there was a pan for each oscillator.

Which one you like best dune or legend?
@紅葉亀 both, they both can fit and sound you want
Starsky: whack the resonance up...
Ears: wow...
Wallet: oh no...
Some excellent presets.

How's the CPU load ? sounds amazing thx for the Demo man!
I´m glad his mother language is the same as mine so I can understand exactly what he´s saying when he talks German.
this sounds interesting
Don’t forget the BEST MINI:
MINIMONSTA 2
GForce RULES
I’ve not tried minimonsta 2 - although I’ve got the force stuff and it’s stunning.
I’ll grab it on sasle…soon,
I own all their Orher products.

i was on the fence since i have diva, minimonsta and arturias moog...but the first touch of my keyboard made me O.
If only I could bare to look at a computer screen, after a day of working with them....

It’s. Not too expensive and doesn’t take up space so I’ll think I’ll get it
Diva feels more analog and raw , but decent 😂fo sure
YEAH BUT....compared to WAKEMAN's FAVE.... GForce Minimonsta 2 ??
I own all SYNAPSE products EXCEPT Legend. LHZ sounds great....and I'll probably buy the dmaned thing. But...to me, I quickly default to Minimonsta2 and WAKEMAN. Sounds really nice but not $180 dlls nice, is a VST FFS!
This Sounds Fat 🚀
It's wonderful.
Sounds too digital..sknote and uad only got this right otherwise nice adds to the plugin which makes it even more creative
Have you tried Softube?
Diva killer
never
@@jaskbeak4830 for me sounds much better most deep and best modulation and best effects
This is software that will go the way of all software: in a few years it will probably no longer work. THANK YOU!
Sample your faves for posterity then!

More vst crap, sorry mate.
