This is a work of art. The genetics feature alone is worthy of praise as is the inclusion of the standalone FX VST as a bonus. I own so many synths, Serum, Massive, all the Arturia synths etc etc etc but this is another level and is now my go to for almost anything that's not specific or niche. It sounds A-F'ing-mazing.
Stellar synth, I updated the day it was available and it was worth every cent. Please consider adding VCO sync. It will open up the timbral possibilities even more.
It would have been nice still to have the option of buying 'The Legend'. There was something very inviting about the smaller and simpler user interface. The HZ would have been significantly enhanced if it had two filters, Matriarch style.
Hi guys, really nice peace of art ! I wanted to know if I purchase The Legend HZ, I will be also able to have The Legend Original plugin or not ? Cause I don't see it anywhere ?
It sort of does. Click the tab to the left of the save button, that will bring up a patch menu. On the upper left hand corner is another menu. Click "open genetics". If you hit auto it will pick 2 random patches and generate a new one. Or you can choose 2-3 in the menu and generate a new one from them.
I bought Legend HZ for the Reason Rack module to use in Ableton (I'm on Mac OS 14.5) and I was disappointed to learn that it's missing a number of the features described in this video. The menu button that is supposed to give you access to the Genetics feature simply doesn't exist in the patch loading menu. The OSC 3 "Lo-sync" mode doesn't let you specify note duration, it just stays on numerical values. You're supposed to be able to link a parameter to an external MIDI controller via a drop-down menu when you right-click the virtual knob, that doesn't work either - Somebody didn't test their product before releasing it.
The Rack Extension version is specifically for Reason, and as such can only offer features supported by this interface. Note that you can crossgrade to the VST version anytime, simply get in touch with us. 🙂
stunning that you guys decided to play muzak during a synthesizer demonstration. You also implied that in the sequencer page you have to enter the note frequencies numerically, but i'm hoping that the record and play buttons on that page mean you can enter notes from a midi kbd. Very sloppy demo.
This is one of the biggest grifts I've ever seen!! Just because you can slap a famous name onto it, you think you can sell the most basic azz stock plugin tier synth for full price?? 😆😆
This is such a powerful synth for such a low file size! Incredible programming.
I’m really happy with this Synth. It sounds amazing and is really easy to handle. Great job
Have been using this non-stop since it came out. So much fun to use, and it just sounds incredible! Amazing job, friends!
Having Demis do a workshop/tutorial series for The Legend HZ similar to the one he did for Dune 3 would be EPIC!
This has got to be the greatest synth ever build!!! I just bought it and can’t wait to use it 😍

I've been having so, so much fun with the genetics feature in DUNE. Get an amazing sound with a click and a few tweaks!
Oh hey I remember seeing demis hellens really great trance lead tutorials some years ago, pretty cool to see him on the official synapse channel!
awesome synth thanks Synapse and Hans
I really hope that there will be a RE-version for Reason! 😍
The RE is in the final beta stage currently. 🙂
@@synapseaudio2488 great news to hear, will insta-upgrade my Legend RE!
@@synapseaudio2488 WOOHOOOO!!! That's AWESOME!!! Instant buy for me! Thank you!😍🥳

Soon i want to buy this wonderful synth

Is there already an approximate release date for the Rack Extension version?
Legend HZ needs more slots for the modulation matrix.
Amazing and easy to program synth. May I know how to set specific values for a knob using keyboard?

Send us an email after purchase & we'll give you a license if you need the old version still. 🙂
I'd love to get this. Does the upgrade path work with the rack extension too?
Would be nice to include a randomise button

@@chocomalk I tried it and it was not really satisfying. Designing sounds on my own is way faster and more accurate. Will skip this one for now
Awesome! - can it use the GPU (graphics card) on Windows for calculations like Melda Productions' synth?
How's the CPU?
Excellent. Very low hit.
You really don't need that really annoying background noise during your ptc
Its a powerhouse.
A synth without sine waves always makes me a little sad...
The filter is the sine wave...or just go for the triangle if you don't mind a but of odd harmonics

I can do pretty much the same in Zebra2...?
You can do the same with any synth?
That's not the point of owning multiple synths

Odd choice for a synth walkthrough to have other music playing in the background, even faintly.
