- This is some no commentary gameplay from the Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis Beta Demo happening this month. I had sound cutting out during cutscenes, but gameplay was solid so far. FF7 Ever Crisis has gacha mechanics so that might upset some. It is a mobile game after all. Enjoy!

No global release or no info yet?
Will there be an open world map as well? I don't mind it being turn based, since that's how the original one was.
I hope someone makes a fan remake with the assets in this game.

@Melodia88 this game is episodic and won't contain the entire storyline. I'm sure after the reactor mission you'll jump straight to the next and skip all the stuff in between.

There are no loot boxes in the game. And it's actually pretty cool, kind of FF7 OG ( with atb gauge ). The beta experience was amazing
@selimb33 it's still a gacha game. Which is not much different than a game that has loot boxes.
@@Saxonsredux well unlike you I had the chance to play the game for a week, so I know for a fact that the game was amazing. But if you want to make assumption based on absolutely nothing, feel free to do so
@@selimb33 It is not aboslutely nothing, there are enough videos about the beta in which one can see the loot boxes. Maybe those loot boxes are more fair than EA's but they are still loot boxes.
i really missed this kind of battle system turn based type..
It's not even turn-based though. You lock onto a target, the computer automatically attacks it, and when you get enough charges, you can use your moves. It's basically the "classic" mode from Remake, only with more than 2 ATB bars on your character.
@@Taser9001 you said is not even turn based then how do you call that ? hack and slash arpg? hahaha... but still there's turn based vibe cuz they have their own turn during battle in auto.. is not even FFVII remake or FFXVI or DMC you have to button smashed hahaha.. yet still the genre is turn based hahaha

You simply lay down and press skill only and the game move it self.
FFVII was never turn based. It's ATB.
so its basically ff7 ps1 version, remade into mobile, slightly upgraded graphic, simplified turn-based combat system, but also with gacha.
Yup. And characters will have outfits to purchase as well. This will be the 1st time players can use Advent Children models without modding the game.
The in fighting models look absolutely awesome. I'm absolutely looking forward to playing this tomorrow on my redmagic 8 pro
So this will come to the switch in a deluxe bundle that will get rid of loot boxes in about 2 years, right?

Is this a retelling of the remake or this is a remake of the remake demake and just a different game mobile edition. I'm so confuse of this so many ff7 games.
Yes... too many. I, too, am confused if it is just the original 7, just remastered.
I can sense by the look of what i watched here, we will play little portions of Crisis Core and OGFF7 main events, we won't have the great freedom to explore every corner of world map or Midgar and etc scenarios...
I bet Some minor boss fights Will be cut, only main relevant plot fights
The game will cover all of the original VII stories. Besides the original game 1:1, it will have Crisis Core, Advent Children, etc playable chapters

I'm playing it on mobile myself, but there are a couple of emulators for pc there's, LDplayer or bluestacks. Personally, LDplayer is their best one it's personal preference really.

I played the beta. Is actually okay if u play it urself, these type of turn based game aren’t meant much to watch, watching someone else playing it is boring

Theres a big problem inherent with creating an online mobile gacha based on an actual story and not a franchise.
The story ends. Whats their gameplan when we hit the end of the 7s storyline? Hardmode? Pass.
Like other gacha, there are events and other missions outside the story

I like how it looks. It another variation of the atb guage that almost ever other one has used but this time it's really close to how it worked in 13, so nothing too fancy. Why you no like??

hate me all you want, but i can still lots of boomers here complaining. look guys, you have to accept you are no longer the generation this kind of game serves. company needs to earn and cater the newer audiences.
I understand this is principle, but it does seem a questionable strategy. The nostalgia will draw in a lot of older fans, but the nature of a story-focussed RPG doesn't translate that well to mobile games. Nearly all mobile games are casual, forgettable stories meant to go on forever to facilitate grinding of a game you pay half attention to.
Still, they have to adapt it somehow to convince newer generations to play an "ancient" game and what I've seen so far looks mostly promising. Really, a Switch game with these assets and without the gacha would have been the safest play
