What I know most women (more so from India 🇮🇳) do is taking out the whole thing, they don’t rely on pills or tying of the tube.
Personally I don’t trust those implants and I hate pills. We women have it hard.

I just want to point out that jadelle and nexplanon are not the same thing. jadelle uses the same tool implanon used to insert the implant. implanon's tool was known to have failed insertions which is why they stopped selling it in some countries (like the US). Nexplanon uses a completely different tool to insert the implant and has way lower insertion failures.
Thanks for sharing your story. It was so educative and informative. I didn't know it was possible to get pregnant on implants.

Thank you thank you for sharing. I am so sorry you had to go through this, you are strong. I had an ectopic pregnancy recently, and I think it was also due to hormones I was taking. I am feeling the same way right now, I am in the search for a contraceptive that actually works and is safe. Us women really do have it hard, and we need to stick together! I got pregnant on the implant back in 2022 had it in for 2 1/2 years, I had faint pregnancy lines. I went to planned parenthood to get it removed, and they kept telling me it’s 99% effective they can’t put 100% on anything but it’s basically 100% and that I wasn’t pregnant. They tested me and still faint pregnancy lines, they removed it that evening I started to miscarry, was extremely heartbreaking. So I went back and go the implant again, I’m going on my second year of having it again. And what do you know having even more problems with my body and cyst all over again, I’m getting it taken out this month. I want to feel normal and balanced again

Well I have just found out 3 days ago that I am definitely pregnant So I need my implant removing .. also my partner felt the baby kick last night and I am producing colostrum so I'm not only pregnant I am very very pregnant!
How long did you have the implant before becoming pregnant?

@@rosalitadrake6159 it would be best to do a test hun if there is any doubt .. I shrugged it off as being gassy when my stomach was moving and having heart burn quite bad .. both my test on Xmas eve came up positive plus this little one keeps doing summersalts or something I feel every movement now . Docs today to find out how far along I am .
But I'm guessing around 22 - 24 weeks
@@rosalitadrake6159 pregnancy symptoms on this pregnancy have been dulled big time in comparison to my last 3 pregnancies but they are all boys so maybe I'm gonna get a girl this time lol
Hey there. I am so sorry about what you went through. The only advice I can give you is that if all other birth control methods fail you and you don't want to get pregnant, it may be time to ask your partner to get a vasectomy. ✂️
I have the nexplanon implant i just took a pregnancy test today and it came back that it was positive and then I made a appointment today they tested me there and it came back Negative so I'm gonna do the blood test tomorrow

I’ve been feeling nauseous, dizzy, frequently using the restroom, headaches, more tired then usual and now I feel movement in my stomach.. I took 2 test both negative but I’ve heard that some women get negative because the implant or something like so, so I am going to get tested by blood to see if I’m pregnant I’m also getting rounder in the stomach enough for my mom to say I look pregnant .. we’ll see what happens and I’ve been on nexplanon for 8months and I’ve been so emotional and just not for me I’ll be getting it removed the 30 of this month ! thank god but idk what else to get now either

Wonder Woman ke. hello update I’m fine now at last off of that implant since Jan 30 I’ve never felt so good in a long time ! the doctor said everything I went through was completely normal but I don’t agree and wouldn’t go back to it, I was pregnant but I might be now 💙 xoxo

Hey my 3 years will be in 2021 but i keep smelling milk on my breast but theres none coming out. But i just recently had a baby boy, and he's 2 now. I breast feed him for like 6months basically.. as a baby.. so that milk is gone. But why am I smelling milk,its weird.

I am on nexplanon this is my second one the first one I got my bleeding stopped but came back around 2.5 years so I took it out I’ve now gotten a second one 4 years after the first one was removed. It’s due to be removed in about 5 months but this second time I’ve bleed none stop from insertion day like 29 days straight really long cycles ,bad cramps so the first time I had it it worked great but this time has been a nightmare. I’m still bleeding but I feel movement in my uterus area I’ve had three kids so I know what a baby feels like and I swear I’m pregnant I’m taking a test tomorrow
4 yrs ago you upload a video & NOTHING has chsngrd...It's April 5, 2024...and I started recently bleeding on March 30th.. I had the nexplanon implanted for 11 months .. *NEVER* bleed or cramped and now I'm receiving a heavy load..dark brown bleeding all 3 days. I'm thinking taken a pregnancy test because I'm not ready. I'm also forgetful but this was the ONLY option because of my LUPUS which I had NO idea Luous has limitations on bc. Alot of them won't even work because of yoru lupus. I'm pissed off.

I’ve been on the implant for almost 2 years and I’m not pregnant but I ever since getting it I’ve gotten ovarian cysts and I finally scheduled an appointment to get it removed. I’m sorry what you had to go through much love for you 💕

Pregnant on nexplanon. Too early to know where it is. I had an ectopic with an IUD 2 years ago. I was in the depo provera shot for 10 years and never had any pregnancies or side effects. I only stopped because I was aware it is hard on the bones. Good for forgetfulness since you have to schedule or reschedule in a certain window. I might just return to depo after I get through this.

I’m on nextplanon I got it on February I got so sick after I started bleeding so bad on September I went to the hospital and they told me I had an ovarian cyst can any body give me and info lately I’ve been feeling nauseous I’ve been gaining weight I feel movement inside my belly
I think you need to see a doctor as soon as possible, all the best dear
How many days can implant takes to be effective in the body
They told me to wait to weeks
I am also kind of careful Depo, and sorry that your implant turned out not good, I hope the patches can work, although one has to keep changing every week.

Yeah they're supposed to expire at 3 years but some studies show UP TO 5 years. The implant will start to degrade after that and you should not assume that you were protected from unwanted pregnancy. Hope this helps

I think it is unless you have other symptoms then you can have a pregnancy test but I do miss mine sometimes cz of the birth control
