Thanks, I'll still be able to use it. It didn't connect to the AC play app anymore, but I noticed in reviews for the more recent models that they have an Aochaun app, so I tried that and it connected to the Smart XR fine.
Thanks for your suggestion but I probably won’t make a comparison between the Apple app and gimbal AC app. When I film my videos I generally rely on the native camera app or FilmicPro since the image quality you get out of it is generally better
Dear Sir, I ve purchased Aochuan Smart XR gimble. But in this gimble when I try to shoot video in Lock Mode (L) the Tilt Axis works and it's automatically turned to other direction... Generally in Lock Mode (L) all the Axis should be locked... But it's not happening with me... Kindly help me to how I fix this problem? And this AC play app is not working with my Redmi 9 Power Android Phone.... I m very disappointed and dissatisfied with the utter performance of this Aochuan Smart XR Gimble..... 😞

I would like to buy the extension pole for that gimbal, could you please advise if the one that Pergear sent you is the following? "Pergear Extension Stick with 1/4 Inch Screw Hole" Does this fit the SMART XR gimbal ? THank you for you advice !

Most smartphone gimbal companies focus on iOS users thats why almost all gimbals are compatible with iPhones. Companies like Dji and Hohem work well with most smartphones 👍🏻
Just so you know after a year or so, the AC App is very problematic. It' will not open or crashes. I see many comments about this on other sites. Such a shame as all was going well. Now I just use the basic camera on the gimbal
What about the Zoom... it is a slow zoom.. because most of all Gimbals zoom is suck.. you pressed and they goes in a fast speed.. you can not filming like that.. are not useful for filmaking.

Both are equally good can‘t really say which is better it depends what you need. The Zhiyun has the built in light which is great for vlogging.

It depends how large your smartphone is. With the iPhone 12 Pro Max it didn‘t work with the SANDMARC case.

External microphone Can it be attached? works?
Yes you can use an external mic using a cable but you will have to find a way to mount it on the gimbal using the 1/4 screw on the bottom of the grip.

The payload of 250G is not adequate for adding accessories, you need a minimum of 300G.
adding filters would work well however with third party lenses it woud not be enough

I don‘t recommend zoom in general, try walking closer to your subject or use a telephoto lens 👍🏻
