I want to try green, red and yellow pepper.my problem is where to get iru locust bean.or is there any thing to substitute for? Thanks.
So yummy
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial
Do I have to use palm oil? Is there another substitute?
Can I use only chicken to cook this as much as I want to use beef and goat meat which that’s all I see in this stew I am trying to cut down on other meats?
Pls reply ASAP cause I am planning on making this today
Yes you can. I've done it with chicken before and it was nice 😊
JustEnny omg thank you so much! And did you fry it with the oil too just like you did in the video
I grilled it in the oven but you can fry too. Up to you. It will still taste great
JustEnny ok well I won’t cause I don’t want it to taste bad.
I will make this tomorrow and come back for feedback, I don’t have locust beans in Paris but I’ll do without it
Okay I’m back with the feedback, it’s a pity I can’t add picture to the comment, it is so very delicious 😋, I added the boiled eggs from the beginning together with the blended peppers , the taste is just so goooood , my colleague had to go with a take away ! Thank you very much for the video
What did seasonings did you use for the meat?
This my personal recipe I usually use: chopped onions, basil, bay leaves, thyme, curry powder, onion powder, salt, chicken bullion cube (Maggi) and water. Then boil the meat for at least 25mins
hmm you're good o! pls come and cook for me in Canadaaaaa!
Haha in this pandemic? 😋
Thank you for sharing this recipe! 🤗
Thank you. Will you make pondu
New subby here. Great video. Straight forward and easy to follow. Please do a video called ‘How to prepare/cook your assorted meat’ that includes all the seasonings and spices you use for great flavour, and which can also be used as a broth too. For some of us, a 2020 goal is to learn how to cook certain dishes well well!
Thanks alot! I will make a video for this soon 😊
Thanks
Please how can I make this using a normal blender as I don’t have a food processor
Yes just blend the peppers and make sure it’s not a smooth blend. use the pulse option on the blender if you have that option.
Can I use the Igbo ogiri in place of iru as I can't get ieu where I am
Yes but use very little amount
This is amazing ma thank you. Please can I roast my peppers
Yes you can
What seasoning did u use for the meat pls
What happened to the spring onions?
Nice
Very nice. Can i use the yellow tatashe also?
You can try it but its popularly made with green pepper
Please what’s the name of your food processor
Kenwood
I used two scotch bonnets and my family could not hack it anymore
I don’t know what I did wrong to get a bitter sauce 😔
Oh no sorry to hear that😪 Its mostly because of the type of green pepper you used. The darker ones tend to be bitter naturally. Try using lighter green peppers next time 🙂
JustEnny thank you sooo much 😊 appreciate you!
Nice video! But the stew is not well fried like d traditional ayamase stew. God bless.
