I honestly don't understand how this channel doesn't have more views and subs. I mean like, a lot more. You are making crucial information accessible and doing it in a way that is entertaining, well-produced and downright friendly. Great stuff.
Great advice for building a modern kit. I'm still bringing around bigger lights and stands. The approach in this video is great if you are building a kit.
Great vid, as usual. For my fill I like to get as close to the lens axis as possible, especially for a small light source. That way, no double shadows.
Just found this channel. Great video! I've never been good at doing the stereotypical 3-point lighting setup as well as others but this makes it seem so easy! One thing I'd like to know, which has been my struggle a lot, is what do you do about cords? It seems like I just have extension cables everywhere!
That's always a bit of a tough one, most of the time the only ways to fix it are to raise the light higher so it's out of the eyeline, or to change the subject's eyeline until the glare is gone. There are also sometimes ways to have the subject tilt the glasses slightly down so the glare disappears, but I prefer to leave the subject as normal and comfortable as possible. Generally you just have to move the light till it goes away.
Really your channel is awesome, just small demand can you show us lighting interview has many lighting layers in the background by using gels and barn doors
Guys, you are amazing! Thank you for the great videos. This is all I wanted to know in a very precised form - the way it should be. I also wonder why you don't have more views. I guess the valuable videos are not that interesting as the beauty vlogs e.g. :D Keep doing the great job!
This was terrible. I stopped it as it felt I was watching a long advertsiment video instead of getting tips on how to do things. Must be cultural difference as americans are used to being fed constant products in everyhting they watch

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! That was perfect, quick, and super simplified. You made it really easy to understand.

Interesting comment @John Spooner Is your sequence then lens > Fill > Interviewer > Key?
Awesome information! Stumbling with the expensive gear... Priceless!
Great video. When filling from the key side is the fill next to the camera and then the interviewer between the fill and the key?
Thanks great video on lighting interview 🙂

Well tutorial produced, really good content here. Thank you!
Thanks ! Great video. I can't control RGB of my YN360 (it just controls 3200 and 5600 K lights) through the app. Any clue what's wrong ?
Thanks a lot, it's really helpful info!
great video
Thanks for a lot of information!
that was a great video
Hey, with camera you make your videos (when you speak)? TNX
Whats the name of your interview kit bag?
WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR CASE FOR YOUR LIGHTS
amzn.to/2LbaVTC - this is the case that I've been using. It's pretty good, but not the best. It's cheaper than others though. - Todd
You fit those c stands in your rolling case too? ;)
Nice video nonetheless
Yeaaaaaah. Seems like that was cheating a bit.
yup
Looking for brandt type of lighting
Gets a thumbs up for 1:09!
1:15 Hey this is just me everyday! XD
Haha. Just like me too. That why we need to start doing location scouting more from now then
the one shot used to show the wrong back lighting are far more cinematic than other ones
in my opinion……
