When music was really music. Awesome group and great recording. Can hardly believe 26 years have gone by since this gig. How we need groups like this nowadays. I guess i sound like an old man echoing all of the old men throughout history lamenting the state of music in the present day,in this case I think it is a valid comment.
I was at this brilliant gig with my mate and my gf, took my mate for his birthday,..... Nick was epic , Si and Pete were in an great groove, and Mad Richard was his usual self...thanks for posting this.
Ahhhh thank you thank you! The version of Mover they played around this time is by far the best iteration. Any time they recorded it in the studio it lost the honky-tonk.
@@floytronmusic8680 - Yes, indeed...I had the pleasure of seeing many incredible shows at Slim's over the years. Sadly, this Verve show wasn't one of them...and I lived in SF at the time!!!! Bummer...lol
wow, it is such a small place, been there. we are right there now and forever. i lived in s.f. all my friends were being killed by fauci so i was busy caring for them. i can go to the show now tho. on repeat forever! the way Nick touches that guitar is magic to watch. wish the recording was hearing the bass and guitar better tho
This is unbelievable. What a setlist. Dont think ive ever heard gravity grave into echo bass before.
The best band that ever descended upon this planet.
When I was 14 this band was Life changing!!! Lost in music absolutely the first band to take control of your mind and body absolutely brilliant
Same here!
Yeah dewd, they’re incredibly special.

These are gold.
I would say even more precious than gold. Couldn't agree more tho

OMG to go back in time...

This is sort of a dream setlist for the real verve fan. Just missing bittersweet, catching the butterfly
Absolutely tremendous 👏

Hey man thanks for giving us these concerts from their early days
That’s one of the most ferocious versions of The Sun, The Sea I’ve heard. Mover was especially great as well.
Thank you so much! Brings back good memories. ☮️💕🎶
You're welcome!
✌🎯👆The Verve shine on you😜👀🙏🏼👌
1995 was their prime. they really should have done a professional studio-quality recording of their live performances for that time.
Yes yes and more yes. This was their artistic and live peak imho
The Haigh Hall 98 show is IMHO thier peak live performance, but honestly all thier live stuff and unreleased B sides are amazing some mindblowing
@@voxdot agree, the only thing missing from the haigh hall gig was some tracks from a storm in heaven, other than that, it was an amazing day
спасибо🙏
This is AMAZING!!! Thanks for posting! Slim's was a great music venue in SF owned by Boz Scaggs. Small, intimate club, epic sound!!
Sad to hear they closed the doors for good in 2020

Que le paso a Richard al principio ?
No entiendo lo que dice
Obvio en la intro de come on
