I’m from the Netherlands and I can confirm that every given price range is accurate. I live near the border from Germany and my tip would be to bye your groceries in Germany if you’re one of the lucky ones like me. Tabac, petrol and alcohol are also noticeably cheaper.
I worked in Holland in the early 90s. Obviously before Brexit. It was a basic cleaning job. The main thing i learnt from that experience is to learn the language as best you can. Knowing the primary language of the country you live in is priority number one.
Hello 👋 I am glad to get this information of you about the budget in Netherlands I finishing school about architectural technical and I am working at the same time with tales and saving money for my dream to go to Netherlands I would save some enough money to go and have a good time and find a Job also and live in Amsterdam I am from Macedonia 🇲🇰 thanks for the video . keep it up ✌️.
did you miss the part that many people in the netherlands live in poverty, the red cross helps 400k people with food packets and many people (even people who work 40h a week, they are called the working poor) cant affort to put up the heating all the time when needed as they cant affort the costs and many have to rely on a foodbank to get free food, 1/8 children grow up in poverty and many people have to live with their parents even tho they are 30 years or older just because there are not enough houses and if there is a house free they cant affort the rent....the Netherlands is not as beautifull as they trying to make ppl believe.
@@AbsolutelyAshika I also want inform you that having a good public transit system does not mean that not sometimes a train might arrive too late! Plus, the name Netherland does not mean that there is not sometimes a hill around. Furthermore, even with the high life quality, there are sometimes people dying of cancer or from a heart attack. Please add all such stuff into your 'not blindly advocating list' or you are directly responsible if one runs for instance into a car because of the expectation that only bikes exist in the Netherlands!
Totally not worth it to move to the Netherlands. Im born in that country and lot of bad experience as well. Almost everything is high price if you compare to other countries like Belgium, Germany or France. Food, Gas, monthly costst, study. Wasted of money to choose the Netherlands. In that case better choose Belgium. Also much more friendly and helpfull people there.
Hi Aashika, please dp share good recruitment agencies in Netherlands who helps expats with sponsorship jobs. I am toying a lot but not able to succeed.
Netherlands is very expensive, even compared to the uk, i went to Eindhoven/Rotterdam, also i asked a security guard what he earns, he said 10 euros an hour, that is nothing
It takes months to get an appointment with a specialist doctor , and even more than a week to get an appointment with general physician. There is a scarcity of health-care workers , how it does it have excellent healthcare? And the number in Numbeo is not correct at all

Which is why I always say that it's important to check the finances to see if it still makes sense for you. I never advocate moving anywhere blindly.

You think 80-85k a year in Hague be enough for family of 3? What’s the tax rate there on income as such for an NRI?

Health care is not good and we are still obligated to pay medical insurance for a service that never comes .
@@guilhermelargueza1685 yes , it’s a gimmick that it’s one of the best , there is not enough doctors also
That's CooL information..
