@@DavidLLambertmobile Probably because the younger generations didn't learn how to make it (they don't seem to be exposed to home made food nearly as often either), and would rather run to the local tea shop.
I love tapioca pudding! My mom made it for our family and I continue to make it (or buy it) still! Love that stuff. Out of style/fashion? Pooh, I eat what is healthy and/or makes me feel good-and tapioca does that!
I still make and eat Tapioca. My grandparents made it for my parents, they made it for me, I loved it. Now I make it for my kiddos. Out of fashion is such a silly phrase. Trends come and go, however good food, practices, or fashion always seem to find their way back round. 🫶🏼 Make tapioca people. Done right it is super versatile, gluten free, can be dairy free, even Vegan, and delicious. It's also a fun thing to make with and for kids. Like most things when eaten in moderation it's fine. Have a fantastic week Y'all. Just take a deep breath and smile. Monday will be over soon.🫶🏼
Boomer here. I love tapioca pudding. Especially homemade tapioca pudding with a dusting of nutmeg on top. Give me fisheyes and glue anytime; I'll gobble them up. Besides, do the opinions of people who eat Tide PODS even count? 😃
My daughter is 20 and loves Tapioca. I think it's good still warm but not cold. Same thing with rice pudding warm from the pan not cold from the fridge.
I love warm tapioca pudding and rice pudding! And bread pudding. My grandmother made all of these dishes so deliciously. I can only make tapioca. Never tried making the other two.
Tapioca is more than pre made Kozy Shack. For a fun and beautiful dessert. Make your tapioca boiled in sweetened rose water and butterfly 🦋 pea tea. Then scoop into champagne glasses and drizzle with a lemon juice, sprite drizzle. Super fun and delicious.👍
One possible reason that tapioca is fading in popularity might be because the stuff that is available in stores and most restaurants isn't (IMO) much good. The big tapioca balls can't hold a candle to the tiny grains of Minute Tapioca, especially when you opt to do the egg whites separately and fold the whipped whites into the hot pudding. Sort of like comparing home baked apple pie to the little premade ones that are mostly doughy crust and very little filling. Many who have tasted the Minute tapioca I made actually expressed surprise that tapioca could be SO good.
I love tapioca pudding….or as some call it fish eggs & glue…… tapioca pudding is even better mixed with chocolate pudding. Boba tea is gross….I don’t want chunks of tapioca or anything else in my drink (except ice)….its just foul.
My daughter and everyone her age that I know (30s)... love tapioca. They love boba tea. It's the same thing so why would you even introduce texture as the reason people hate it I mean that's bizarre and bake still logical sense. Your presentation on this subject is stupid.
In my 30' not USA raised, not asian and loving tapioca. Gave some to my son so he get to know what it is. He liked the old fashion recipe, I prefer it with coconut milk.
I still like tapioca just fine, but it's not the sort of thing that's on most restaurant dessert menus, anymore. I think Wendy's often had it available in their superbar.
Do you like tapioca pudding, or are you glad its fading out?
I love tapioca pudding, but then again I fall in the “old peoples “ category 😀

It's ok but puddings are for little kids. It's like jello. The 1970s 1980s were popular for jello, pudding. After that.... it petered out.

I love tapioca pudding in the package made on the stove. I was born in 1950.
Me, too. 1950 baby.

I LOVE tapioca. It is so good homemade! A great dessert!
You’re such a good person, this comment made my day
I love tapioca pudding, and I'm only 50!
I had it last night at the diner. Delicious if made well.
I’m not quite an octogenarian, yet! Lol
I've always loved tapioca pudding! Now I'm over 60, so I guess I love old people food.
I love Tapioca pudding! I shall make it tomorrow 🇨🇦❤️
I like small Pearl tapioca pudding at room temp as soon as it cools off. You will find it at every Amish/Mennonite restaurant.
I still eat it and make it, my daughter loves it too

I love tapioca pudding ; I am 74 years old and had it often growing up.
Nobody eats tapioca anymore???? I been getting it each time I go grocery shopping. I'm not old either.

I would still buy and eat it, if I could find it.
I love tapioca pudding!
I'm 22 and still eat tapioca pudding. Bubble tea, on the other hand, is terrible.

I loved it as a kid and still do at 83.
I just bought 7 bags of small pearl tapioca for tapioca pudding. It will ALWAYS be a staple in my family rotation. Yum...
Huge fan of tapioca here.
I still make it in winters. :)
Because commercial tapioca pudding is dull vanilla pudding with lumps thrown in. Real tapioca is enlightened with whipped egg whites and is ethereal.
I love tapioca pudding.
Another great way to enjoy tapioca pudding is to drizzle a hint of lime onto your serving. It is so good. I learned this from the Thai culture.
That sounds fantastic. Do you use a real lime?
@@karyannfontaine8757 yes indeed 😋 tastes like key lime pie.
bubble tea already going out of fad.
Love tapioca just had some this mourning
We still eat tapioca pudding here
Fish eyes and glue. Yum!
Love kozy shack's tapioca. Actually its the only tapioca I can find where I live. There is no "make it yourself" tapioka.
I love tapioca pudding too.
I eat it and rice pudding

Love this and semolina
I ate it yesterday. But Only a few spoonful.
I still love it
5:39 How did that work out for them?
I use Alton Brown’s recipe and I don’t make it on the skim side.

Make tapioca parfaits, layered with strawberry, mango & banana slices.
Love it
I love tapioca pudding!!!
I’m about to make some right now
I like tapioca. Gen Xers have no idea what’s good.
genz raised by the greatest generation grandparents and Asians keeping tapioca sales alive here in the US.
Wow I had no idea people hated tapioca pudding 🤣🤣🤣 we always buy or make it fridge will always have it
I love this shit
I made tapioca last week. My grand love it.
Great job Allie James!
glue with fish eyes.
It takes talent to make a video on Tapioca Pudding.
love me some tapioca
I was born in the early 60s. We never ate that crap. I didn't even know what tapioca was until recently.
Used to serve it at school i went to in the 70s...we called it frogs spawn...and it was disgusting.
You can put anything in it to make it yours. The pre-made stuff is barely good.
I am 33 I love tapioca, I hate boba balls :I
Because it makes you lose your mind!!!
I like tapioca but cooked in wine
It costs an arm and a leg
Those that dont like tapioca pudding. Need to get off my lawn
OwO

I haven't had any pudding since I was a child. 🤔
😮 I think it's gross, yuck! I get that weird gag reflex!
Late 19th century?😂😂😂
Why no one believes or trusts click bate MASHED anymore.should be the title
Your vocal fry is ear shattering. Usually i dont like the robo voice.. but
I can tell you why I don't eat it. The texture sucks.
Tapioca is still available in the UK and Europe, so once again, Americans know nothing about the world!
Chronically online, corny, and a bad take, as expected from mashed
Wrong!
First
I NEVER DID like it. 💩's nasty!
I am a boomer I have always hated tapioca pudding
I love tapioca pudding.
