Your insight on parenting is wonderful, thank you! It reminds me of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) interaction with children. One mother gave her young son Anas to aid the Prophet when he was only ten years old. Anas reported: I served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never even said to me, “Uff!” He never said harshly, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?”.

I needed this so much. I am going to start working on my attitude (being annoyed) towards things my children need. I’m not like this all the time but I think it is what is affecting my 8 year old sons heart attitude. He’s the child that takes after me the most in defiance and independence and we are more likely to butt heads during the day.

About temper... Do you have some material about child tantrums? Or do you recommend some place where I could read/learn more about it through Charlotte Mason approach?
Otherwise, i would make the request of you doing a podcast about tantrums and how to regulate a child. Would be that possible? I would really appreciate. Thank you 🙏

Hi, tantrums are addressed in "Laying Down the Rails" which is a wonderful habit training resource for parents. Here is a link to that.

Additionally, tantrums are addressed in this blogpost.

This collaboration with Ginger Hubbard does not specifically mention tantrums, however you may want to dig into some of her resources as well as she has some wonderful practical tools on many topics including tantrums.
