It blessed me so much to see Karen on this!!! She is one of my favorites in the Homeschool inspiration world! Her love for science & a home library is the best.❤❤❤
I met her 8-9 years ago at a conference and her input of kids in church blessed me so much more than many others. It was something I had been hoping to hear from another mom for a very long time.

So good! I'm in the middle of getting these family chore habits started, and my kids are SO EAGER to be a part of it. It's more on my shoulders of choosing not to be lazy and just let it pile up and then have to do it myself, but be intentional about including them so that a) they learn these essential skills and b) Mommy doesn't go nuts trying to keep up with everything herself. 😄 All these additional points are so helpful. Drinking this session in today!

Remember there is grace among all the wonderful habits and work yet to be done! You are a wise mama and you will do just fine! Begin with one habit at a time, and go from there. Eventually they do become a storehouse and your children take hold of them. It is the process that gets you to the point of the reward that becomes your greatest treasure!
Thank you for joining us this evening!

I love you guys. I am so eternally grateful for the two of you❤ My mom abandoned me when I was 12 years old. Fastforward 25 years, I am married and have 2 children: a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. You may be right to guess that my house is... a mess... As a family, we are trying to learn for ourselves and to teach our children how to have the right attitude toward chores and how to manage them all. My hope is to teach my children as much as I can, so they can be prepared for when the time comes for them to live on their own. I am so grateful for you and your inspired podcast! I am learning a lot from you and I have a warm feeling of so much love and support from you. You are absolutely amazing! ❤

Oh I love the sticker idea. I also have a disabled child and we have had to make step by step picture instructions and post them around our house for self care and simple chores ❤

Hi, Thank you for reaching out with your questions! We can all relate to the fact that doing what we should do is not always easy! Part of what we aim to accomplish with habit training our children is making it easier for them to do the things they should even when they do not feel like it. Here is a helpful post on how to strengthen your child's will.
