As an elderly Yank subscriber, many of your famous stars are unfamiliar to me, but still, your videos are of top-shelf reverence and informative. Thank you for your every unselfish effort. (Could you do a video or few on Hammer/Seven Arts/Amicus Studios artists who never failed at instilling fear all those years ago when I was a lad?
Thank you! Very interesting. I’ve always wanted to visit Highgate - one of the most well known of cemeteries with so many celebrities & interesting graves in the country. Looking forward to Part 3👍😉
Her first film was a long way before that. She played many parts in English films, including the film of Dickens’ Great Expectations in 1946. She was my favourite.
I'm sure I played "Hitch-hiker's", as an old text-based adventure games on an old PC. They were good as you used your imagination and they were really very engrossing. Clever bloke was Douglas Adams.
Psalm 103:14 “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.” John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”
Some may find it interesting, although highgate is such a overgrown jungle with unkept graves, our poor british celebs. Have ended up in.!!! far cry from the manicured hollywood graves. Oh please i dont want to end up there!!
It needs to be left alone and not fussed with. No organising or neat and tidying, it’s why people want to be buried there. Fusspots get buried elsewhere.
@@peterrobinson4093 It's maintained by a charity and that's the way it's kept. If a tree needs pruning or cutting down its done but it's kept to the minimum. It's not even laid out like a typical cemetery it meanders about with hills and hollows. I get the feeling if you were incharge of it you'd cut most of the trees down wip out all the "weeds" and completely destroy it.
I enjoy your videos, but on the Highgate ones you don't explain who the other people on the graves are. Even if you say and the wife of the other person etc etc to keep it brief.
I only had a limited time in London and the object of my journey was to cover as many notables in that time, to of cover all details in relation to relatives and further inscriptions would of been too time consuming
@@interestingplaces1 Sally Beauman under Alan Howard was a VERY FAMOUS successful author , they were partners in life and in death it seems both very well known. not 1 more than the other @louise Coupland :)
This has nothing to do with woke, the term actor has been used by females for over 40 years its not a new thing Why actor instead of actress? Then, if we jump forward to the 1970s and 1980s, women began to choose the term 'actor' instead of 'actress' as a direct result of the women's movement and an awareness of gender bias in language. Women began to take back the term 'actor', and it's often used today.
Thank you for another respectful viewing of various well known graves.

Have always wanted to visit Highgate. I find the place so interesting. Thank you, Paul.
Oh! Glad u showed. Hutch, people forget adout him because of the. Royal connection.

Thank you for sharing this! I visited today! Did anyone else hear the whisper at 5:20?😮
It sounds like the whisper is saying "I seen it" or something like that
I grew up around the corner from Highgate Cemetery
I knew Alan Howard and Sally Beaumon well the were lovely people
Hey mate wonderful vlog thanku
Enjoyed it ! But it would be nice if you inserted a picture of the star you are talking about !!!! But it was a good video thank you
!!!
Good idea!

I recently watched jean in So long at the fair.
Stunning cemetery but such a shame that so many of these final resting places are now sadly neglected.
That’s the basic idea with Highgate. Minimal upkeep semi wild. It’s what makes it so beautiful.
I don't see that as sad. Nature takes over, just how it's meant to be
Jean Simmons I have seen in one episode of Murder She Wrote
Very sad to see you the resting places very neglected rest in peace
Did anyone see the figure on the bridge @ 8.21.Looked Spooky.
Just a passers-by being inquisitive
Jean I mean
Psalm 103:14
“For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”
John 11:25
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

U forgot to mention she was in guys and dolls with Brando . Jean Simmons
Such a shame that the graves aren't kept tidy, weeds every where, especially sheila's grave, not nice at all
Folk that are buried all end up like this eventually, I want to fly fly free on the breeze when I go
Reasons why we shouldn't pay into private pension schemes. Don't live to enjoy it. Don't be scammed
She was beautiful
yes I agree totally
Jeremy beadle's grave say's April 12 th not the 24th of April.
Why do some of the memorial stones have pebbles sitting on top?
Some people pay the respects by leaving a stone or a rock, especially the Jewish community
that place needs a good cleaning and sorting out ...
I agree with you but because it’s a nature reserve, your not aloud to touch it
@@nicksteadman8705 im all for that but a top and tail on it wont do any harm

What did George Michael's die from?
CAUSE WAS CONTRAVERTIAL, A DRUG OVERDOSE, ACCIDENT ? OR DELIBERATE?
Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Myocarditis and a fatty Liver
very talented singer and generous with his money but what a silly man in his private life he was, No wonder he died
George was a lovely man singing and did a lot for cancer .He died of a broken heart 🌼
HUTCH DIED 18TH AUGUST,,,NOT THE 19TH.
Now I’ve seen it all. George Michael, his mother and sister, all Jewish buried under a huge cross in a gentile cemetery! RIP
he wasnt a jew
Please be respectful

Which was probably how she wanted to be remembered
