Should note that there is also a grave marker to Larry Flynt in Kentucky (not yet engraved with his death date), that was placed at the time of his wife's death in 1987. He had intended on being buried there at one time, but it appears he decided in the end to be entombed here in LA. As such, since they would not rest side by side at the Kentucky site, the family of his wife Althea had her remains exhumed and reburied in Ohio. So, as I understand it, both the Kentucky sites are now empty. Will update with more info if it comes to light...
Pornography destroys lives and families. It's easily accessible to children these days. It's a horrible addiction and nothing to be celebrated or encouraged.
I saw a vid about John Beluschi's grave in Martha's Vineyard & also your former vid showing composer Marvin Hamlisch's grave in NYC. Something about the looks, vibes & weather around such cemeteries are not just different, they're more downbeat, less sunshiny, literally & figuratively.
My favorite parts of your videos are when you talk about the great character actors from old Hollywood. They never got the press, but they are what made the movies come alive.
I watch Arthur's videos for two reasons: to see where recently deceased entertainers like Dolores O'Riordan are and to learn about those who came before them. It saddens me that some do not want to learn about the very early actors and entertainers. Without them, the entertainment world would be vastly different and nowhere as amazing as it turned out to be.
I was a big fan of Steven "Twitch" Boss and when I learned of his suicide, it really broke my heart! He had such tremendous talent! It was nice seeing his final resting place, but also a bit sad as well! Gone waay too soon, but never forgotten!
I love when I believe there is nothing on UA-cam and BAM this pop's up and proves me wrong. I love when you visit the older actors from the golden era of when Hollywood was still fresh. So many star's who have never been heard of and because of you Author Dark you give them a small honor call. You so deserve a Oscar for all the respect you have shown through these videos.
My mom is buried at the Great Mausoleum. Forest Lawn Glendale is gorgeous. The views are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your content. Very respectfully done 🙂
I love Joseph Strauss’ tribute to his Wife Ethelyn. A picture of everything but his achievement, the Golden Gate Bridge... She was his foundation. He couldn’t do it without her. So subtle but powerful!
Very cool that the creators of two prominent American landmarks made in that era (Mt Rushmore and the Golden Gate Bridge) are both laid to rest in the same building!
Thank-You Arthur, for remembering many of the Silent Era Stars. Also for remembering tWitch. He was a very talented man, but apparently, very HAUNTED!!!! May He Rest In Eternal Peace.
Forest Lawn Glendale, my old elementary school, Cerritos, is across the street from the main gate. My kindergarten teacher, in 1964, took the class over to look at the pond and birds there. We watched many funerals drive by the front of the school or playground. If we asked our teachers about it, they said to ask our parents. My family lived a few homes away from, The Music Box, stairs 1958-1963.
So many people talk about Hollywood Hills now being the best Forest Lawn, but Glendale in my opinion outdoes them all. The architecture, setting, you can’t beat it.
I have a distant family member in the Great Mausoleum. What do I need to show proof or will they still tell me to kick rocks? 1st cousin 2x removed GM, Dahlia Terrace, Florentine Columbarium
Hello to all my fellow Hollywood Graveyard family members!! Wishing you all love and peace. Thank you Mr. Dark and Guisseppe! I hope i spelled that correctly. I apologize if I didn't.
I loved Lionel Stander as Max on Hart to Hart. Always calling them either, "Mr. H or Mrs. H," he was always reading the Horse racing paper and smoking a stogie(cigar) while waiting for the Harts.
As someone who works in the suicide prevention field (and has struggled with suicidal ideation themselves), I was very impressed by the inclusion of the 988 number in the tWitch segment. If just one person sees it, calls it, and lives past those desperate times, it's worth it.
On Bob Cummings you forgot his role as Professor Stutwell in Beach Party and Charlie Ruggles played the grandfather in the first Parent Trap movie. I really love watching your videos. Your voice is fantastic. I could listen to you all day. My highest compliment to you is this: I would gladly and happily take a class you taught, and I'd actually listen up.
THANK YOU for posting those incredible pictures of the Great Mausoleum architecture and art work. It is very sad that these areas are so guarded that these works can't be enjoyed by the general public. Great video.
I love how you profile some of the obscure actors, writers and others in the movie industry, sports world and others who deserve a spotlight. I love the history.
Could not wait to get home from work to fully watch this. Thank you Arthur for including the number for suicide help. No one is alone, someone is always willing to listen and help.
😢😢 99% of the greatest actors and actresses have gone on to greener pastures, i can also say the same for musicians. Thanks for the video, i enjoy your channel Arthur and keep up the good work 😊 😊
The biggest smile on my face came seeing Charlie Ruggles! He had a pretty prominent Disney career in the 60s: He was the grandfather of Hayley Mills and her twin in the Parent Trap, the store clerk John in Follow Me Boys and he was the veterinarian in The Ugly Dachshund!
I never tire of the Tours you take us on of Forest Lawn Glendale! It’s like a City within a Glorious City with its Incredibly Beautiful Stain Glass, Statues and Architecture! The presents of European influences are everywhere. So many more you brought to light to learn about and paying respects to of those in Filmmaking, Singers, Sports Figures, Puppeteer and even a Bridge Builder of the Iconic Golden Gate! The #4 David Statue never looked better for now with his Bronze Patina he looks even more handsome. Thanks for another fascinating Tour through the Majestic and Magnificent Forest Lawn Glendale Cemetery Arthur! It and you never disappoint! 🖤
With Arthur as our host, the wonderful music, and the incredible videos will always make Hollywood Graveyard one of the best channels ever. Keep up the great work! :)
Mr Boss's wife Alison and Kobe's wife have been through so much in their young lives. Both carry on with shattered soul's. They honor their husband's with Grace and dignity. I don't know what it's like to lose the love of my life. Nothing compares to losing someone who knows what your heartbeat sounds like from the inside. I have lost 4 of my children so I live with a shattered soul. I have much respect for both women. Thank you for sharing this.
I especially loved your narration on tWitch as I was deeply saddened by his death via suicide. Initially, I just couldn't rap my head around the fact that he had passed. He had so much vitality in his dancing and he was quite the entertainer. I really miss him.
Recently traveled to Los Angeles for a vacation with the specific intent to go to FLG,FLHH and Hollywood forever using these videos as a guide. What I found was a profound respect for what you do Arthur and your research and preparation! Thank you.
Thank you Arthur for yet another great tour of our dearly departed from early Hollywood up to modern day Hollywood. On your next visit there, could you please stop by to pay our respects to our beloved Matthew Perry, his sudden & tragic passing left so many of us shocked & devastated. Thank you No one does this better than you Arthur. 🪦⚱️🎬 🎞
Another brilliant video Arthur and the team. Wow! 80,0000 tombs in the Great Mausoleum alone. That's incredible. Well done for finding any of the tombs/graves you're looking for!
Thank you Arthur once again for allowing us to pay our respects by visiting the last resting place of so many note able people in music, television , entertainment ,film stars and many others. Your videos wherever we maybe in the world as viewers allow us maybe not in person but in our hearts to visit. Love all the videos best channel by far on You Tube ❤
Someone just commented how this video has the most obscure people ever and "YAWN". You're on the wrong channel sir (or ma'am). This is the beauty of the Hollywood Graveyard channel-- learning about entertainers and industry legends who are mostly forgotten. As always, thank you Arthur.
Nothing brightens a snowing cold day then a brand new Hollywood Graveyard. Thank you Arthur and Hollywood Graveyard once again for an excellent video ❤
Just saw Donald Crisp in Jezebel yesterday! And omg, Jane Darwell! I date the start of my love for all things British on the Bird Woman scene in Mary Poppins, with St Paul's cathedral looming behind her. Fantastic HG episode, Arthur, thank you!
Wow what a great way to end my day, to come home and enjoy a new Hollywood Graveyard.I just love all histories and stories that you tell us about those forgotten stars.Thank you Aurthur for this wonderful presentation.
Love these tours. Not only are they entertaining but informative as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to entertain all of us who love and look forward to HOLLYWOOD GRAVEYARD
Hearing about Joseph Strauss, the engineer responsible for the golden Gate Bridge, was interesting for us here in North Wales in the UK. We have the very first suspension bridge ever built in the world, the Menai Suspension Bridge, built in 1826 by Thomas Telford. It crosses the Menai Strait to the Island of Ynys Mon aka Anglesey. The Golden Gate Bridge looks uncannily like it, just bigger!
Appreciate you bro... my mom just turned 76 on February 20th and lives in California since 2003.. last time i saw we went to this cemetery... thank you for making us closer bro
Thank You for including Gaylord Carter. Theatre organists are often forgotten but central to theatre during their hayday. Gaylord was the best of the best. Still no one like him.
I love your videos & have been a fan & subscriber for several years. But this is the first video that truly spooked me. When you showed the grave of Cyril Hume, I realized the day he died was the exact day I was born. It was a little eerie to see my birth date on a tombstone, even as someone else's death date.
I to have followed from day one and it is the best there are a few knock offs but they can’t hold a candle to you Arthur You pay respect to all our beloved movie , stage and music stars from main actor to support as all are missed Thank you
I remember when a year half ago when twitch dies I was in shock. He bought joy in the ellen show. When you are feeling down or having suicidal thoughts talk to someone.

A big fan Arthur!!! Thank ❤ you
i never Heard of Hart to Hart. my Mum Loves Detective shows like Vera and Death in Paradise, so i might introduce this show to her.
Pornography destroys lives and families. It's easily accessible to children these days. It's a horrible addiction and nothing to be celebrated or encouraged.
That’s really interesting about the Flints. And odd. But to each their own!

Thank you for remembering tWitch. He was a superb dancer, and I was so saddened by his passing. We truly never know what battles others are facing.
I get so excited to see these I watch them over again ❤
I agree with you, he didn’t deserve it.
Superb dancer? Lol
Thank you for sharing the 988 #.🙏🏻
I was a big fan of Steven "Twitch" Boss and when I learned of his suicide, it really broke my heart! He had such tremendous talent! It was nice seeing his final resting place, but also a bit sad as well! Gone waay too soon, but never forgotten!

Arthur never fails to deliver when he's needed most.
I totally agree with both of you. I miss when we don't see anything from Arthur in awhile.
I am pretty sure he's going to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame one day.
IT A LOT ON UA-cam YOU JUST GOT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK
My mom is buried at the Great Mausoleum. Forest Lawn Glendale is gorgeous. The views are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your content. Very respectfully done 🙂

Giuseppe ! Hi from italia 🇮🇹😄🙋♀️
Thank you same to you
I really enjoyed the works of Bob Cummings. It was smooth and classy, and very easy on the eyes.!
Thank you for remembering Twitch. He was such a talented dancer. I lost two very young friends to suicide by gun so this makes me emotional.
Hollywood Graveyard is one of my favorite UA-cam channels. Thanks for another video, Arthur!
My favorite too
I am ALWAYS excited when I get a notification that you have posted another video!!!! Thank you so much, Arthur!!!!!!!!
Who else been watching every video since day 1 ??
Me too!
I binged watched when I found him
Love these videos ❤
I am are we normal
Me
I'm 52. I recall sitting with my parents when I was a child, watching old movies with some of these actors.
Me too. I always get a dumb smile when I recognize them. If there's life after death it must be nice to still have fans, you know?
Just about 40 bur I remember doing so too.
I'm same age and I remember doing the same in the 🇬🇧
I loved Lionel Stander as Max on Hart to Hart. Always calling them either, "Mr. H or Mrs. H," he was always reading the Horse racing paper and smoking a stogie(cigar) while waiting for the Harts.
Heck, you didn't mention Freeway.
I get home from a 10-hour workday in a heated nursing home laundry room and watch this. So relaxing.
As someone who works in the suicide prevention field (and has struggled with suicidal ideation themselves), I was very impressed by the inclusion of the 988 number in the tWitch segment. If just one person sees it, calls it, and lives past those desperate times, it's worth it.
I'm not a fan. I called it once and they said they couldn't help me. Yep. True story.
@@cynthismanning6397 I'm sorry that your experience with the hotline didn't help. At any rate, I hope you are doing well enough now.
I’ll always remember Bob Cummings as being one of the hosts of the Disneyland opening day special alongside Ronald Reagan
Always the greatest of pleasure, to click on your notifications… 😀❤️
Stephen Twitch Boss RIP We Love Man Thank U For Memories
It made me so sad that they put in memory of not in loving memory of makes you wonder and think that’s where his mind was 🤷🏼♀️

Really shows how many people had a special part in each movie. Makeup, music, scenery, writers.all talented people RIP.
Very informative and historical… I love it
Could not wait to get home from work to fully watch this. Thank you Arthur for including the number for suicide help. No one is alone, someone is always willing to listen and help.
Came here to say the same. RIP tWitch.

Thank you for adding the helpline number for suicide prevention. Very thoughtful.
LOL! I was scrolling through UA-cam thinking "man there is nothing to watch". Then this just dropped. Thank you Arthur!
I’m almost 78, I love your shows, introducing me many actors and entertainers I saw but didn’t know their names, again thank you ❤️♍️🗝🧙🏻♂️
Love Mr Vasapolli's score - just perfect!
I especially loved your narration on tWitch as I was deeply saddened by his death via suicide. Initially, I just couldn't rap my head around the fact that he had passed. He had so much vitality in his dancing and he was quite the entertainer. I really miss him.

It's nice to visit the final resting place of all those wonderful stars of vhe screen that gave so much pleasure to us all.
Thank you Arthur for yet another great tour of our dearly departed from early Hollywood up to modern day Hollywood. On your next visit there, could you please stop by to pay our respects to our beloved Matthew Perry, his sudden & tragic passing left so many of us shocked & devastated. Thank you

Gaylord Carter played many times at the Silent Movie theater on Fairfax Ave. in LA. Met him once, what a gentleman he was.
A perfect treat for this long weekend!👍 Thanks Arthur!💓🤗✌️

UA-cam SHOULD HAVE A HALL OF FAME OF UA-cam CHANNELS . AND THIS CHANNEL SHOULD BE ONE OF THEM 10/10
Eric Blore and Dwight Frye! Good work!
27:56 Holy Toledo!!! Never did I ever even think about a Sammy Davis, Sr. - also a well known singer. Sammy Davis, umm Jr., was one of THE Best!! 🌷🌱
Great video ❤❤bless am all good people
Wow...... Charles Ogle was in 300 + Films in only 18 years? That is remarkable!
A stunning cemetery, just beautiful. Thanx.
Everyone was shocked to hear that twitch had taken his own life! God bless him, his beautiful wife and wonderful three children!
I think he got taken out. That duplicitous wife knows more than she admits.
That really is a beautiful place. Love when so many of the old stars, mostly forgotten now, are remembered.
I get SO happy when I see a new upload from Hollywood Graveyard! Your work is phenomenal! Thank you so much for remembering Twitch.
Nothing brightens a snowing cold day then a brand new Hollywood Graveyard. Thank you Arthur and Hollywood Graveyard once again for an excellent video ❤
I loved the bronze David at the end, brilliant. Thank you, kind sir. 😊
So wonderful to have another Hollywood Graveyard episode drop. What a great channel. Thank you Arthur and Giuseppe.
This is my hidden treasure channel on UA-cam. It's so entertaining to watch. Thank you for all your work. All the best from Germany.
Just saw Donald Crisp in Jezebel yesterday! And omg, Jane Darwell! I date the start of my love for all things British on the Bird Woman scene in Mary Poppins, with St Paul's cathedral looming behind her. Fantastic HG episode, Arthur, thank you!

Thank you again for another trip down memory lane and for showing an old bloke from down under places I would never otherwise get to visit.
This is what I’m talking about. Way to start my Monday!
Fascinating and fabulous. No one does this better. Thank you!

Thanks so much for showing Bob Cummings’s grave. Been waiting forever! ❤️
Oh happy day. A new video from Hollywood Graveyard 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 6:29
I AM a fan of the Haunted Mansion soundtrack and I totally forgot Gaylord Carter did the organ for that. Thanks for bringing that up!
After a long day of working at my department store, thank you for posting this video! I needed this! Sometimes you need a break from the real world!
Glad to see Dwight Frye's marker. He was actually on the bus when he suffered his fatal heart attack.
An upload of Hollywood Graveyard always makes my week.
Bravo Arthur! 7 years! This is just fantastic!
Always a joy Arthur. You make these moments beautiful!
You're videos are completely amazing Arthur and I mean that personally 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
❤❤❤❤..love watching mr Dark s videos.... Mary 😊
Thanks Arthur! Strange how a visit to a cemetery can actually brighten a day, but in this case it's true. Your cemetery tours are without compare.
A new post by Hollywood Graveyard is always a treat! Love learning about those from the early eras and seeing recent interments.
Another Stellar Arthur Dark Production!
Love the soundtrack from Mary Poppins.
Thank you for keeping the music the same. It makes it for me. It’s the best! Very Hollywood elegant, with the hint of spooky!
Visiting LA and all the amazing graveyards are on top of my bucket list...maybe I'll set up a gofundme 😂😂. Love from a cold UK 🇬🇧
I went there December 2023 . Very impressive. Had you in my mind walking thur
Love your videos and all the people who brought us joy for generations. Thank you so much!
I remember when a year half ago when twitch dies I was in shock. He bought joy in the ellen show. When you are feeling down or having suicidal thoughts talk to someone.
Thank you for the tributes cause I did know Larry Flynt had passed🌺
I remember Johnny Mack Brown in many a western, 10 cents got you into the balcony section of the Liberty theater every Saturday afternoon in the early 50's. He was in a Perry Mason mystery with Raymond Burr in the 60's too.😀
Looking forward to seeing the next installation of Forest Lawn Hollywood.
