📜 About the Video:
In this video, Eli provides three important steps for using a brand-new glue gun. Firstly, make sure to have the correct size and temperature of glue stick that matches your glue gun, which can either be full-sized or mini-sized. Secondly, heat up your glue gun for about five minutes before inserting a glue stick. Third, fully insert your glue stick into the cavity - a new glue gun will often consume an entire glue stick before anything comes out of the nozzle.
Warning: To avoid back flushing your glue gun, keep it slightly tilted down. Also, do not pull the glue stick out of the gun while it's hot. Eli also suggests checking out his beginner tips and tricks video on using hot glue guns for more information.

Is it ok, to leave the glue stick in the gun after you're done using it

Yes you switch it off and let it cool down with some cardboard underneath coz it will drip slightly but that’s normal
