Hi Elizabeth! Vinegar and water will also work too. If I remember right, in the research study, they also tested vinegar/water solution. It worked, but the baking soda solution was more effective at removing chemical residues. Agreed! I want to eat the peel too :) Thanks for watching and sharing :)

I would normally clean them in vinegar and water solution. But I would start using the baking soda method. I love having the skin and all. Thanks
