    Bless your hearts for finding that poor injured Canadian Goose. He or She looked like they were suffering really bad. It really warmed my heart to see you care so much to get them help with the DNR or Humane Society. It looked like it was probably way beyond saving, but you never know. Praying that the vets were able to make it as comfortable as it could be, and if they weren't going to be able to save it, kindly and humanly put it out of its suffering. As far as the magnet fishing you all do such great things with clean of the water ways. Lakes, Rivers, Ponds, Dams, Creeks, and Partial Bodies of Water also. It's too bad you guys couldn't go one step further and organize a clean up the river during low water or droughts. I am sure the fish and wildlife would be much better off for it, not to mention it may start other communities to do the same with some sort of a challenge to neighboring towns, schools, teams, organizations. They do that in a lot of other cities, states, and countries already, but it definitely needs to be way more to really keep everything clean and make a difference. But it would be a great start, and who knows it may really help boost your channel by the advertising of this and other events similar. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Football, Softball Teams, or any other type of team or committee. Subscribe, Share, and Hit the Thumbs Up Button, and help him spread the good him and his friends are doing! Thank you, Dani to you and your friends and other Magnet Fishing Men and Women! God Bless!!!!!! Kathy T. in New Prague, MN.🙂💞❤💖

    That goose is being passive for one of two reasons. Reason one: it's weak, hungry, and can't fight back. Reason two: it knows you're not a threat and wants help. I'm sticking with the first one because it's a goose.

      @UCOID-kV8YQty_qjYqZ7LxLg you may have been thinking about a different animal but I would very much like to ask a simple question . 1. Is have you put yourself in the place of the animal you want to kill ? 2. I think the animal would have scensed your intention for it and I'm quite sure that it would go down fighting telling others that you are a very evil person . Have you given thought to the idea that you have cursed yourself . It has been said by the north American Indian has stated though the centuries is if you kill for food you will be forgiven but if you kill for your entertainment when you return to earth in a new life , your return will be as it was of that you killed for fun . In other words the life you took for fun is what and how you will return . The hunter will become the hunted in their next life .

      What you sent me in the message is exactly what I was saying . No I've never been in a position to want to simply kill something . I love animals . My great grandparents use to hunt for food . They would do what's known to be selective hunting . They never took the young , they always took the older crowd . The young were to be protected as they could be because they were the future food source .
      I could usually tell who hunted for fun because they were the ones who would hang the head of what they killed up on the wall like a trophy . Those who killed for food appeared to not do that .

If you are consistantly dealing with those types of people on every interaction its easy to see why some can be a bit grumpy and brash.

      I used to know a goose who would literally walk up to anyone and eat out of their hands. He was a rescued goose who was transferred to a park so the workers could care for him. The Goose couldn't live in the wild on his own and people at the park went out everyday and the goose would come find them. They have a bunch of geese and ducks there at the park.
      The Goose couldn't hunt on his own anymore so he had to be fed by humans and there was a time he broke his leg.
      He was brought where they keep their injured geese and ducks but when they opened it they would put him by a tree with a park ranger sitting there watching him so that people could feed them.
      My mom and I would look up what they could eat and bring it to feed them. I saw he had a broken leg and gave him food.
      The Goose is checked on everyday and they come out to throw food the geese and ducks can actually get a proper nutritional diet from everyday after they close.

    The goose made contact with a Power Line based on the big burn on his back and one leg missing. Possibly tried to land on a Pole or transformer and got between the hig voltage wire and a ground. He's proabably cooked on the inside and not going to live long. (I'm a retired Power Lineman and seen LOTS of them.) The light weight Bell is an Old Public Address Loud speaker. Then you found a capacitor from an old airconditioner. The gun looked like a $150 Bryco throw away pistol. Based on it's condition, it's useless for trying to run a ballistinc test.

    At 7.44" . You found a big thing made of metal, wondered what it was. It is a 275 gal. fuel oil tank, usually found in the basement of a home or just outside the home. Used for storing heating fuel oil for the home. Hooked to the furnace by a small metal tubing. The one you found has seen better days.

      No offense to anyone but you know that you got old when you remember things like the rotary phones . Maybe remembering the proud moment was how many mom's do you have and you answer at least 30 , then asked which one is your real mom and you answer I only have one ? Maybe when you think back to childhood and you remember things like popular colors then . . . green , orange , bright yellow for appliances like stove , fridge , etc. Remembering when TV dinners came out in aluminium trays and when the microwaves made their appearance . I think I was about 10 years old and our microwave lived a long life about 40 years . Microwaves really came out in the 1950's I think . I remember Kennedy being shot , Apollo 11 , Apollo 13 , the landing on the moon . Started with the first Kirk and the second Cpt Kirk with William Shatter . How about the cop show about hippy cops fighting crime in the Mod Squad and Don Ho in Hawaii 5 O . I truly go on forever but I think I may have gone on long enough . Oops, just one more , the duck n cover because of the Cuban missile crisis then viet nam . Wow that was too many , sorry . I guess I got old and didn't realize that I'm not even 60 . . . I still have one year to go .
      Thanks for the memories . 🙂 😊 😢

    Interesting. Every time I watch one of these videos, either while diving or magnet fishing, my main thought is how very, very horrible that people find it acceptable to dump their trash in lakes, rivers, etc. Makes me mad and sad both.

    • @derekeimer7758
      @derekeimer7758 2 роки тому +2

      Its true that a lot of trash is in the rivers because of some A-holes, however, a LOT gets put in during a large flood event also, a lot of this stuff appears to have deposited that way.... This coming from a commercial diver with over 20 yrs on the bottom of the Mississippi River, and 16 yrs professional gold dredging on the bottom of rivers from Alaska to Arizona... you would be amazed how much lead 100 yrs worth of fisherman have thrown into EVERY river, I have easily dredged out over a ton of lead fishing weights from a couple rivers in Oregon and California.... along with several lbs of mercury... I provided this service absolutely free.... my reward is the gold recovered... Yet we have been shut down by the state over outright biased lies and flawed science... SO, They REALLY don't give two shits about clean water!!! and unfortunately, GOLD, is not magnetic......

    Anyone who enjoys magnet fishing would love diving in local waterways. I live in western Maryland it's unbelievable the amount of civil war era things you can find by diving at least here around Maryland. I'm not a diver but I know a few guys who regularly dive local streams, creeks and rivers they've found civil war muskets, artillery shells, ammo box plates. A few years ago they dove a deep hole in a creek and found 3 muskets using a pin pointer used for metal detectors they found dozens and dozens of civil war bullets in the same deep hole along with ammunition box plates. After and during the civil war lots of muskets and other things related to the war was simply thrown in deep holes it's unbelievable the things that are just laying on the creek beds waiting to be found.

    Most states you don't need permission to enter that property, generally you have a 20 FT leeway on any navigable waterway. So long as you don't cross private property to get there, you could walk the shore from public land. At least that's how it normally is.

    • @williambrandondavis6897
      @williambrandondavis6897 2 роки тому +2

      That’s not right. What is a navigable water way is determined by the state unless it’s a federal water way governed by the army Corp. I was told by a wildlife officer in Missouri that if it doesn’t have a public boat ramp access then your not legally allowed to be on the water way unless it’s going through your own property. He said that’s how it is in Kansas and Missouri. Iv been told several times that if they don’t say you can with a sign or something then you should assume you can not unless your looking for trouble.
