  • This Should Have Never Been Found Magnet Fishing!! (Police Speechless) Today my buddy and I went magnet fishing in the Chicago metro area and found something that should have never been found while magnet fishing. Also while we were magnet fishing we found stolen Items and something that could have really killed someone. Even the police were speechless after they saw what we found in the river while magnet fishing. If you really enjoyed these type of magnet fishing video please leave a thumbs up and thank you for watching!! #magnetfishing #police #rivertreasurehunting

While yes getting stuff like this will definitely help a family or law enforcement find out who is connected with the firearms it still is a hazard when it comes out of the river and therefore its a danger to not only the people who fish it out but other locals as well because guns do have a tendency to go off and discharge a round similarly magnet fishers have pulled bombs and mortars out of the river and the drastic temperature change can cause it to react and explode so in this case its wrong execution for the right reasons

The rifle is a Swiss Vetterli-Vitale bolt-action rifle with tubular under-barrel magazine. Pre-1900, and chambered for a modest .44 caliber cartridge. Sold in some numbers by Bannerman after WWI, it was a mildly popular deer rifle. Probably ditched when ammo became unavailable.

Yes, the fact that there are a lot of positive comments about the officer rather shows us that his approach to be the exception and not the rule. Good on him. Well done to all for helping to clean up the environment. 👌

Correction 1878 Swiss Vetterli Rifle, many were imported to USA in the early 1900's. I understand farmers would buy them as a inexpensive hunting rifle. Ammunition has not been made since perhaps the early 1930's.

judging by the length of the gun and the shape of the bolt and stock im pretty sure its a mosin nagant, way to thin to be an enfield or a springfield. pretty cool find.

Just a quick note! Magnets do not like hard sharp shocks like hitting concrete. Each strike will reduce the magnetic flux because you can magnetize a piece of steel by aligning it on the North South axis and tap it with a hammer. When a magnet isn't aligned N/S it can lose flux as the shock happens... Not being negative, I enjoy your videos.

I just want you to know that what you do could become very dangerous for you. These bangers will catch on to the fact there people are going away from the guns and weapons you turn in. I just want you guys to realize how serious gang life is, what will happen is they will start steaking these spots out and you'll turn up missing so please keep this in mind and if your going to continue I'd let the police know before hand where your going and what you'll be doing because you and all the magnet fishing youtubers are playing with 🔥. Be safe, smart and vigilant
