- Scooter Shoot- Out -Part 2 - • 2021 Honda Forza 350 V...
In part 3 of the battle between two of the most popular scooters in the 300cc class I look at the underseat storage space plus the security side too.
Plus I also do a cold start up on both scooters and discuss some vibration issues. - Авто та транспорт
Great review. Honda wins on turn signal location and shorter gearing on the lower end. Yamaha wins on price. They are essentially cousins.
here's part 4 ua-cam.com/video/zIsL2uWV9Jw/v-deo.html
❤️ both and went for the Yamaha finance 1.9%
@@StephanoHamez don't see how one could go wrong either way
EXCELLENT comparison Warro.
Thank You.
glad you enjoyed it
Thanks, very good review. I am looking at both and your review really helps. None in Brissy for drive, at least near where i live.
Glad I could help
Nice detailed review, especially the vibrations at idle
that actually surprised me too. i thought it would be very viby going on past experiences with actual motorcycles...not the case with scooters
the honda at sped say 60 mph/100 kph is very smooth.
also smooth at $1.40
Warro, thanks a lot for answering the Air Hawk matter. I can see it fits quite well on the seat. Great comparison on this video. Keep it going!! Big hug from your brazilian sub!!
all good and i plan to try in out on the next ride and see how it goes...lol all the best!
Keep up the great work just uploaded a few shorts of old stuff I never used
Ok cool
Thank you for an excellent comparison review
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative and comprehensive... Cheers and thank s Warro
all good there next up will be the suspension comparison while i continue on with the reviews..lol been clocking a few klm while this has been going on and actually sort of like riding the scooters...lol
I have an Air Hawk 2 pad on all of my motorcycles, except my Royal Enfield. It really makes a difference if your seat feels harder than you would like. But I agree that the straps used to attach the pad could use some redesigning. It is not very secure. Both of those scooters certainly seem very practical. I love all of those large storage compartments. The company designers and engineers put a lot of thought into making their designs practical. The direct opposite of most current motorcycles when it comes to storage areas. The security features seem to be very well developed, too. That was another excellent and thorough evaluation of the storage features of the scooters. I'll be looking forward to Part 4.
thanks. part 4 will be very interesting....lol after that the road testing begins and it's on with my helite airbag jacket just to be safe!
windscreen test should be interesting too. variable power vs fixed
THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT REVIEW . I Have DECIDED TO BUY THE HONDA AFTER WATCHING YOUR REVIEW 🙏🏼
good choice and great power too
Very honest review, thanks
great to hear
Great review.
thanks-happy to hear you enjoyed it
Excellent cross comparison. I did not realize how much storage these bikes actually have. Seems like one could practically put everything they need in the bike without the need of additional cargo containers.
and with their reliabilty one may never use them where on other bikes -ive used the lot plus bought more...lol
Awww C'mon mate, give the Interceptor a run! Mines running really good. I must say thanks to you and Stew Fillingham because your videos and advice led me to buy one and I'm pleased with it 👍
nothing wrong with the interceptor great smooth bike to ride with good power too. bit like a scooter with gears thrown in...lol
Nice vid mate
thanks -good to hear you liked it. all the best
Big Question Warro is now you have a Vespa GTS300 how does it compare? Have you done a video on the three?
my thoughts the vespa is the pick of them and its also $3000 more expensive than the others
Does the under seat storage on the Yamaha (or Honda) get warm? I’m currently on a Kymco Like and it’s not the best for transporting cold/frozen groceries under the seat as it gets quite warm under there.
i find its pretty good under there when compared to a vespa. i often carry camera gear under it and not at all with the vespa...too hot there!
Thanks again for taking the time for another informative review, does the honda have 2 cubbyholes or just 1 ?
just the one deep hole but i think it hold enough storage to equal the xmax's 2 units. but the xmax unit on the left does lock.
@@ridewithwarro 👍
Just a bit of trivia that your readers may not know ..............the cylinder (barrel) on the yamaha contains NO steel. Its a special mixture of alluminium and silicon! ...............believe it or not.
another first for me as i didn't know that bit of trivia
@@ridewithwarro its actually called a "DiASil" cylinder . Another bit of trivia is the twin motor on the T-MAX actually has a third cylinder which has a piston like the others which produces NO POWER...... its simply to balance the motor.
@@jimw7916 i may have to source out some reading material on this
Could you tell which bike has bigger Under Seat Storage? It's the main buy factor for me.
id say the xmax would just beat it in the storage area
@@ridewithwarro Thanks that helps
What bike is better for 2up riding ? and what about plastic quality of the bikes
yamaha has better plastic fit and either bike would easily run at high-way speed two up
@@ridewithwarro wind protection and storage space ?
@@audiophilipp both good. i have had it out once in light rain and was surprise of little water which hit me.
forza 350 may have slightly more room but seriously ...its not as good or i would have re-purchased another as i had access to a forza immediately
Which one has the best suspension and ride quality?
thats what we are all here to find out. i am now up to part 8 of the testing-all clips in my history
I think a can of soup should now be used as a standard measurement for storage space :)
sounds good to me...lol
wat is toch dat hard lastig gepiep tijden de uitleg ?
exactly
Mirrors, indicators and looks of the handle bars on the Honda just looks, and in the case of the indicators function, better. Apparently the Honda’s lights are also much better. Honda looks sophisticated and Yamaha looks fun. I’d say if you are buying for fun (engine and suspension) and comfort (more room and wider seat) the yamaha wins. The rest Honda. Especially service intervals, better weight distribution, screen and newer design overhaul.
the honda is probably the better looking scooter but appears in the flesh more bulky than the xmax.
overall i feel after riding and owning both the xmax is the better scooter.
since this clip ive sold both and just bought the new 2023 xmax 300 with digital dash and gps
@@ridewithwarro nice one. Thanks for commenting Warro. I always appreciate your opinion knowing you are very honest with all your reviews.
@@florme6494 all good there. after testing both i sold then bought another new xmax with the blue wheels. 6 weeks later they annouced the new model with digital dask etc so i cashed the old new one and got the latest.
so ive had 3 xmax 300 now. still think they are a good scooter.
not as powerful as the forza 350 but i bought performance rollers and once i fit those i think it will be a different story there,
so go on about the forza power screen. i had both tested both and really not much difference. both are crap...lol
@@ridewithwarro do you know when the 2023 Xmax will be available here in Australia? You’ve bought yours but have you received it?
@@florme6494 yeah ive got the light grey version but the dark colour would have taken another 3 months to get.
if you want one you must call in at the dealer and place deposit and the only ones coming in a pre-ordered sold unit.
thats why none are on the floor or that was the case a month or so back
Cold start in Australia 🙃
bit cool at the moment on )c over nights...lol
If i.d known you got the beef and veg I would have got a forza 🤦♂️🤣
maybe i rolled the dice incorrectly...lol
5:30 What about tomato soup?
yeah i think that would work too...lol
Yamaha xmax300 definitely the best in terms of maintenance and outlook..honda had always look very boxy and more for an uncle type rider..😆
trie -the xmax 300 is the pick
Wonder will the Honda hold a tin tomato soup 🤓
LOL
Forza....
50/50 one or the other.time will tell
