She went Agent Texas on their ass
Yeah, I'm going to be that person. You've been warned. This little 7 minute video had more kick-ass action and story development in it then all the non Monty episodes of RWBY combined. Great work.
Agreed actually. My heart hasn't been in Roomba since season 2
Lmao that is so true
Tbh, I've always been more into RWBY fanfics than the series. If there was an a manga/comic of it, I think I'd read that a lot more.
Kabir Kumar there’s the RWBY Manga by Viz Media if that’s what you’re interested in
@023 Studios After S3 I really didn't like the show but continued to watch it but I think series 7 was a step in the right direction and finally the show may be back on an upward curve
People be hatin’ but this animation is better than Meliodas Vs. Escanor
WHOOOOOOOO!?!!!
Yeh plus the sound effect
Only Twinkle Nora Rock Me had worse animation than The Seven Deadly FPS
It's not hard to do that lol
It is as well
This was the most fantastic and satisfying animation I've seen in a very very long time, from fully produced projects as well as indie. It has that feeling of real weight behind each attack and punch that is thrown, which most animation I see completely glosses over, instead opting for quick, weightless, fast, and unreadable combat. This was great, thanks Shane Newville!
I wish more of RWBY's fight scenes were like this now.
OH NO HES HOT
Edit: Aldo massive fan of rwby can’t wait for volume 8
Thanks for reminding me I need to watch volume 7 I'm late af 😱
I thought you said “OH NO HES NOT”
Squidward quotes are great.
RWBY SEASON 7 OUTFITS SUCKKKKK
sorry just had to put it out there
Sky Knife Imo the story got better but it’s still sub par
SHE FIGHTS LIKE MERCURY
SHADES OF THE FIRST ROUND OF THE VITYL FESTIVAL WITH THE TRIPLE PUNCH
THE SETTING, CAMERA ANGLES, GAGS, TIMING, MUSIC, SOUND EFFECTS
AGHGHGHGHGHGGH
Holly this is like see a Monty Oum choreography 😭 Im working so hard to have a good level like this as animator! you are an inspiration to me guys
6:03 The blender -nerd- -cultist- fan in me is just happy to see it mentioned in credits.
05:27 reminded me of Tex triple clotheslining the Reds in Season 8 of RvB!! What a season that was and what a way for Monty to truly cement himself as one of the greats! And Shane, thank you for keeping his essence alive in your work you really captured that flow and rhythm that made Monty's fights so damn amazing!
Stop! You're making me remember a time where I had love in my heart! No but for real love your stuff and I love seeing stuff from Shane too. Much love. God Bless.
they yeeteth thier friends and they yoinketh the package away
GOD this is what RWBY has been missing for. Almost. 5. Seasons.
Losing these two had to be the dumbest decision they ever made.
Have you seen the new fight animations? There fantastic
I don't want to say that the old animation was bad, but the models were pretty awful. The new character models look objectively better (I remember all the weird clipping, the shading and the boring bland white skin texture or the weird mouths). The animation also improved a lot in my opinion and the models, camera angles and particles are an important part of it, which the old animation didn't have
@@bighatastrea I agree the models were bad, and the new animations are good, but I can't help but yearn for the polished style of years of RWBY with this sort of flow and movement.
@@eldon8712 I do agree they fights arnt as good, but that is not saying they aren't amazing now. The show is better than it's ever been in my opinion and people saying otherwise are just being hyperbolic
@@nathanaelwaters2509 Oh for sure I absolutely agree, it's the best it's been yet. There are things that could have been done better sure but in the end RWBY is at it's best right now and I'm still excited to see what's next.
Oh my god ive forgotten how much ive missed this kind of fighting animation
Honestly I could never get enough of this animation style, It’s so smooth!
This has got better fight animation and dynamic camera than the past 3 volumes of RWBY put together.
It just goes to show the difference between those who have the vision for choreo and those who don't.
It's good to know that Shane is still doing animations like these from time to time XD
That triple hit punch at the end, I felt that! Even emotionally. Monty would be proud. I'm so happy to you guys improve! :)
Oh woah watching this made me so nostalgic, it reminded me so much of how Monty used to animate fight scenes the hits feel so good and connect well. Ugh, now I wanna try and animate again.
Thanks guys, used to be a huge RWBY fan and this is the first thing in 4 years that's given me those vol 1-3 vibes. What might have been.
Man I was about to say “your avatar looks just like RWBY”😂
DAMN I CAN SEE THE RWBY RESEMBLANCE. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! :) is he going to help make more animations?
IIRC he's provided parts of other animations, I don't remember which though
Shame left rwby back in volume 3.
@@thenewgamer64 I think he was fired from Roosterteeth
Shane, I waited years for this and DID NOT DISSAPOINT
This actually made me cry, it gives me so much nostalgia I love this so much 😭
seeing this really really make me misses monty oum and all of his amazing works. thank you for this memento
All these people talking about how they didnt know dillon worked on rwby, while I'm out here wondering why anyone would eat a goo cake.
Because Goo Cake comes with Free sunglasses, of course!
Basically, ya get cake and for a bonus, some cool shades that may or may not be edible as well.
Therefor, it's worth the asking price if you ask me.
But I only want lemon flavor. Lime is great and all, but freaking LEMON MAN.
It's a gelatin cake, which honestly sounds delicious.
@@anonymousapproximation8549 I'm not into gelatin. Ice cream cake or cheesecake. Maybe I'm weird. Idk.
Well, they DID have a coupon
@@rwbimbie5854 good a reason as any.
I legit love this. The animation, The ability, The action.. Its perfect.
Damn everything bout that was hot even the new avatar man...did I mention it looks good??? I feel like I should say it again... it looks good!!👍
This. This has that spirit of wonder that went missing from RWBY.
"To be continued"
No.
No. You... you can't do that to me. I need more.
2:56 Definitely see that RWBY animation run right there, that's actually crazy
I swear they scripted every character to run like that lol
This is the embodiment of the term, “Equal rights, Equal fights”
DUDE, THAT WAS SO COOL. I CAN'T BEAR TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT CONTINUATION AFTER WATCHING THAT.
pardon the all caps, it was just so good.
YES!!!! I'm getting nostalgia from Red vs Blue and RWBY V1-3! Thank you so much Shane.
This is so good! It has that fluidity that old rwby had in combat (although it was stiffer outside of combat) but this is fluid all the way through and has really good fighting choreography that is so good and fluid! I love it and help Shane keeps animating!
