I also just succumbed to buying 30 new gouache from the new colors of the Daniel Smith line. Work Bonuses and money from Etsy shop mean I added to the economy. SMH 😅

if youtubers who pretty much only do reviews/unboxings/etc sponsorships I tend to unsub because I don't want to support that for sure. If a channel is mostly painting then I'm ok with it.
No way I am buying this. I just dislike the hipped items especially when you know the properties are not great. I work hard for my money. So no thank you Schminke.
@@briwidmerart 90 percent of art youtube is just hoarding lol. Hardly anyone actually paints or draws with the stuff besides swatching lmao. I keep trying to find more channels that focus on the painting but everyone is just BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY. It's nice to see when people actually put the stuff to use and don't toss it to the side to be forgotten in a 'stash'.
Must please the great algorithm 😆 I know I have way more than I need but I do try to rotate through my supplies and share with friends. The stash bums me out. Must give the stash love.

I've been lucky that the artists I follow focus more on the painting side. I encounter it more when looking up new products I haven't seen yet.
