I remember those days during earlier part of my career. I was once a call center agent. Although it came to a full circle and I'm back to BPO industry, my career is more in line with my IT course. It certainly helped hone my communication skills. And now? Pinaka importante na makaintinde ka ng English, sumunod maka basic English ka, then the rest susunod na yan as you go along. Marami jan nagsimula sa halos wala (di pwedeng walang wala as in walang skills ha) and then now, supervisor na sila. Confidence is the key.

Nice Video Jen. BPO takes good care of their employees. The problem though with BPO is the nature of the job. Most of the time when you get used to taking calls and doing the same thing over and over everyday, boredom comes and follows exhaustion/ burn out. It will be an advantage for BPO career aspirants to always have a positive energy and try to have fun on the job every now and then to avoid this. That is why marami silang pakulo sa office, to lift up employees' spirits so they can perform well. Salute to BPO agents. Been there for 5 years and it built my confidence , analyzing and leadership skills a lot.

It is hard to stay on voice accounts and stressful pa. I got lucky and was hired in a non-voice project management account and only did 2 yrs of calls in total. Most experienced BPO agents move out of voice accounts or get promoted. Ang baba pa ng sahod sa voice account unless siguro skill based like healthcare or with Google or tech support. Most of us work for project management in telco accounts and now hiwa-hiwalay na kami and most of my previous workmates were able to get a 40K+ starting salary since we are on Project management line. Ung iba nasa 60K-80K+. Lalo na pag nakapasok sa Google or sa mga technical non voice account, you can even get more.

Happy ako sa Teletech for 6 yrs now. You have to think critically and analyze customer effectively para mabigay yung recommendend solution sa bawat concerns nila. Kaya wag maliitin ang bpo industry. Yun lang.

For 6 months, I had enjoy the work dealing with my clients, my TL, the company of my funny colleagues, and our tenacious floor manager. There are also other benefits like attending recreational activities and projects, discount for meds, snoozebox, cheap cafeteria and free gym 🧡, and awards for getting high audit scores and by being punctual and having no absences. I remember our group always win for the best group as well. There is also the night differentials every night shift and bonus if may holiday pa sa ibang bansa. There's also a discount if you want to continue studying vocational studies, language studies etc that they offer. Thank You Miss jen for sharing things how does it feel like working in BPO industry. Now, i am an unemployed because i left my job in the hospital as a staff nurse but before that i am working in bpo industry for almost 2 years. Being an agent is really tough and an uneasy to handle irate customer. But it turns out to pay off my dedication and perseverance as an agent. However, i upgraded myself to QA because for me this is really heart touching because you've encountered so many agents that their calls is zero. Sometimes you feel upset but i understand all agents because i used to take calls from customer and got zero until you realized it " Am i worst agent"? That's how bpo industry looks like. Many agent give up and change their career.

Sobrang hirap ng call center job! Especially if you're taking calls (lucky yung mga nasa back office) Kakapagod magtalk nonstop to different callers (50 calls a day) plus you have to hit the metrics (scores) AHT, survey, QA etc. Pressure, stress and overused braincells (😂) but if you are in a happy work environment with a great team with a good supervisor you will survive. I did. 6 years now and counting. Health ang puhunan. God bless to all bpo employees! 🙏🏻

Hi guys I've always wanted to try BPO but one thing that holds me back is that I'm prone to anxiety. Which causes me to stutter when I'm in distress. But on good days I can speak English fluently with minor stuttering. I can still carry on conversations and troubleshoot stuff during attacks but I stutter and pause. To CSR folks out there are you allowed to stutter? Hahaha seriously I keep worrying about stuttering on a call if I get stressed. Everyone I watch just speaks so eloquently. I'm overthinking
