I've been in a BPO industry for almost 10 years for 3 companies but recently I was traumatize because of the last company that I worked with, its not because how irate the customer's are or how hard the work is but because how my previous employer treated their employees, and now I am jobless because every time I encountered American's/client it reminds me how horrible experience that I had with them. I am super happy for you Miss Jen because you are in a good company, I hope that I have the courage to work in a BPO again.

I'm proud to say that I am one of the products of BPO World. I remembered that 5 years ago I was not at the top of my life because I had been struggling with a lot of challenges such as finances, so I did, I applied to bpo which is one of the known bpo companies here in Davao City, and fortunately got hired!! Way back then it taught me how to improve my communication skills since before I was not that confident in terms of speaking in public but now, I am confident enough that I can talk to foreigners, especially North Americans. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!
This is really a dream come true! This will also give new generation what it is to have a career in BPO and at the same time, what to expect. Been a tech support in Convergys back then, 1 year residential and another year in business class. I am the kind of agent that builds rapport, so bagsak palagi sa AHT but palaging around 95% pataas yung CSAT. QPB is LIFE!!
Great way to showcase the call center and bpo industry... Thank you Jen for uplifting the industry that continues to bring jobs to Filipinos... #BayaningPuyat 💕
Grabe.. 4-6 months pa lang burned out na ko. 17 yrs? How??? Did you planned to stayed that long in the industry? What do you do when boredom strikes you? Kahit 1yr lang sana makatagal ako kaso nakaka-depressed talaga sa bpo. Paulit-ulit ang scenario 😔

Yes, hindi po madali sa call center. Unang struggle is if you can't speak fluently tpos irate pa client mo, mahihirapan ka tlaga makipag usap. 2nd if yung TL mo nakakadagdag din sayo ng stress imbes na i-uplift ka nila pati na management. 3rd yung salary, minsan kasi sa ibang companies puro disputes so saludo tlaga ako sa mga tumatagal sa BPO industry. Currently I'm on my 7th month & I'm planning on finding a job other than BPO. Siguro, hidni sya para sakin.

I'm so happy watching your vlog about the real experiences of a Call Center Agent as others think that the job we do is as easy as eating a piece of cake, when in reality, it takes all of your guts just to wear your headset as you know inside you that you're about to go face different clients again on your calls who could be just as understanding as you wish or just as hard headed as you not ever wanting to get. BIG SALUTE to US, IMMORTAL 🤭 CALL CENTER AGENTS! 🖖 MABUHAY! 😇

Thanks for featuring this vlog.. it reminds me of all the great memories I’ve had and experienced working as a call center agent for almost 10 yrs in Taguig.. My co workers are also my friends and family. Like svc, the company I worked for also take care of their employees. After I migrated to the states, got married and working as a health care worker here sometimes I still miss my life in pinas iba pa rin talaga ang buhay dyan lalo pag single nakakamiss talaga..
OMG! I migrated here in the states after 10 years of working in the industry as well. It was such a n amazing experience. It also helped me to build confidence especially with my communication. A lot of good memories to keep!
I've worked in this industry for 6 years but really not my thing. I've always wanted to lead so now I have my own clients. But, can't be more thankful for learning so much from BPO.
Thank You Miss jen for sharing things how does it feel like working in BPO industry. Now, i am an unemployed because i left my job in the hospital as a staff nurse but before that i am working in bpo industry for almost 2 years. Being an agent is really tough and an uneasy to handle irate customer. But it turns out to pay off my dedication and perseverance as an agent. However, i upgraded myself to QA because for me this is really heart touching because you've encountered so many agents that their calls is zero. Sometimes you feel upset but i understand all agents because i used to take calls from customer and got zero until you realized it " Am i worst agent"? That's how bpo industry looks like. Many agent give up and change their career.
i was also once a bpo employee, quite challenging job especially in staying lively and much awake during graveyard shift, i say, it really a nice experience
Proud call center employee for 8 years and just resigned last April 2022. I am now working as a freelancer which is a permanent WFH job. Challenging talaga maging call center agent. ❤️ Kudos for this video Miss Jen.
Sobrang hirap ng call center job! Especially if you're taking calls (lucky yung mga nasa back office) Kakapagod magtalk nonstop to different callers (50 calls a day) plus you have to hit the metrics (scores) AHT, survey, QA etc. Pressure, stress and overused braincells (😂) but if you are in a happy work environment with a great team with a good supervisor you will survive. I did. 6 years now and counting. Health ang puhunan. God bless to all bpo employees! 🙏🏻
All I can say is you deserve this, you are such a big inspiration to others and this is the kind of content I am looking for, I say continue inspiring other people. I'm not that kind of person putting my thoughts in the comments but I can't help it.......
Omg Jen! Transactional din ako when it comes to calls then I was deployed on a retail account pero minsan naman nakakasingit ng rapport pero madalang. Hahahaha! laglag CSAT malala🤧 thanks for uploading this vlog! I knew di ako nag-iisa and glad that I was able to improve a lot💓
Hi guys I've always wanted to try BPO but one thing that holds me back is that I'm prone to anxiety. Which causes me to stutter when I'm in distress. But on good days I can speak English fluently with minor stuttering. I can still carry on conversations and troubleshoot stuff during attacks but I stutter and pause. To CSR folks out there are you allowed to stutter? Hahaha seriously I keep worrying about stuttering on a call if I get stressed. Everyone I watch just speaks so eloquently. I'm overthinking
Go for it! You can actually try looking for a non voice account such as chat, email and back office but if you wanted to go for a voice account, you can always do your best and one day you will get used to it. Just practice and free your mind for every calls.
It’s part of being a newbie. But you’ll get the hang of it. Nobody starts out being outstanding. Allow yourself to stutter, you’ll learn from it. You’ll be your confident self in no time 😊

There are also other benefits like attending recreational activities and projects, discount for meds, snoozebox, cheap cafeteria and free gym 🧡, and awards for getting high audit scores and by being punctual and having no absences. I remember our group always win for the best group as well. There is also the night differentials every night shift and bonus if may holiday pa sa ibang bansa. There's also a discount if you want to continue studying vocational studies, language studies etc that they offer. Basta na nakakamiss din yung gimikan namin mgkateam. Sayang wala ko naging jowa, shy type kc ko hehe. I hope they are all doing fine and happy din. 🤲🏻 gogogo mga call center agents, always love your work ♥️
Omgggg Cannot wait to watch this one! So happy for your new achievement. So proud of youuu always and Always here to support you.🥂
WOW. I'm really impressed with the in house massage. I believe BPOs should have that! Really helps the agent to somehow destress.❤️❤️♥️Thanks for this vlog Jen.
currently working as a cc because Jen inspired me and soon i’ll be aiming to be a FA since that’s my dream ever since 🥰
I've been in a BPO industry for almost 10 years for 3 companies but recently I was traumatize because of the last company that I worked with, its not because how irate the customer's are or how hard the work is but because how my previous employer treated their employees, and now I am jobless because every time I encountered American's/client it reminds me how horrible experience that I had with them. I am super happy for you Miss Jen because you are in a good company, I hope that I have the courage to work in a BPO again.
Been working in a BPO Company for almost 7yrs.now and I can say that, Winner yung pa massage Mami!!!😍 This is sooo fascinating, first time ata to na navlog yung day inside the Prod.Floor so the people outside BPO Industry can somehow get a glimpse of our daily life at work. Thanks for this vlog Ms.Jen also to SVC.♡︎
worked sa bpo for 10y. Learned a lot talaga. the good, the bad and and everything in between 💕 realtalk as a virtual
assistant now for 6y ang dami ko skills na natutunan from
being a call center agent.
10yrs walang promotion>? hahahah
@@laoaisymu8771 sinabi ko po bang wala? Have a goodnight. 💕
Hi! May I know what company is it? :)
@@testting6661 VXI Global Holdings
Happy to hear your story😊
This is really a dream come true!
This will also give new generation what it is to have a career in BPO and at the same time, what to expect.
Been a tech support in Convergys back then, 1 year residential and another year in business class.
I am the kind of agent that builds rapport, so bagsak palagi sa AHT but palaging around 95% pataas yung CSAT.
QPB is LIFE!!
Great way to showcase the call center and bpo industry... I am proud to be part of this industry for the past 17 years... and hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa rin matanggap that other people thinks that working on a bpo is so easy at minsan ni la "lang" lang ng iba... Thank you Jen for uplifting the industry that continues to bring jobs to Filipinos... #BayaningPuyat 💕
Ignorance is a bliss kaya maswerte sila dahil sila ang hindi ang binubulyawan ng di mo kakilala araw araw
@@lZ8463 dapat talaga may goal ka... example on my 2nd yr sa industry dapat di na ako nagcocalls. I explore mo din other facets ng industry - training, quality, ops leadership. Pwede din move from one project to another one para bagong product or process naman...
Yes, hindi po madali sa call center. Unang struggle is if you can't speak fluently tpos irate pa client mo, mahihirapan ka tlaga makipag usap. 2nd if yung TL mo nakakadagdag din sayo ng stress imbes na i-uplift ka nila pati na management. 3rd yung salary, minsan kasi sa ibang companies puro disputes so saludo tlaga ako sa mga tumatagal sa BPO industry. Currently I'm on my 7th month & I'm planning on finding a job other than BPO. Siguro, hidni sya para sakin.
@@ivygayjadloc4942 me too. Although di naman masyadong nakakastress yung account namin still it burned me out. Kaya i decided to explore and take short courses about social media marketing etc. kaya ito 4 yrs na as digital marketing officer. 🙂
MABUHAY! 😇
Agree! Sa call center kailangan talaga confident, patient!, emphatic listener, enthusiastic at magaling mag english!
Makamingaw baya pud magwork sa call center.. love this Vlog❣️
Perfect timing that this one is on my timeline, I'll start my work at a BPO company on July 18. Thanks for showing this Ms. Jen 😊💕
Nakakamiss mag take ng calls ulit.🥺 Thanks miss Jen for letting me remember my BPO days through this video.🙏💖
I love that they let vloggers do this ❤️
Wow! I worked in a BPO company for 5 years and shifted to freelancing, this video makes me miss my office life before.
Watching this video felt like I’m walking down the memory lane. Before I migrated to America, I used to work as a call center agent. Ang lakas lang maka-reminisce☺️
How many years did you work as a Call Centre Agent?
Did your Call Centre work experience helped you move to America?
Iba pa rin talaga ang Buhay ng Call Center Agent. Stressful but masaya you gain more friends talaga and family 💗💗💗💗💗💗
I am proud Bayaning Puyat. Mabuhay tayo!
One of the best vlog I've seen. Thank you Miss Jen for making this. I feel so honored working in a BPO industry. 💗

Been in a call center company before. 2 years and it was such a totally different exp to all the other jobs ive had. I salute all the agents. Its really really really a commending job. I suddenly missed the vibe.
OMG I miss that building! I worked there for a different company for over 5 years! Thanks for reminding me of my first job, where I started to dream and met the love of my life. 😍 I am already in the BPO industry for over 9 years now. 💛
Amazing
anong company mo na ngayon miss?
Wow! Thank you for this vlog Ms. Jen! Its an eye-opener for me. Maybe I should give it a try again to apply in BPO industry. I love how the company took care of their employees. 🥰
I've also been a call center agent & a flight attendant w/ cebpac as well like miss jen & seeing a day in the life of my past job like this feels so nostalgic. thank you 😊
🙂
So proud of you miss Jen.
I'm also working as call center agent for 2 years.
Thank you so much Jen for sharing the life of a call center agent.
From A DAY IN A LIFE OF A FLIGHT ATTENDANT TO A DAY IN A LIFE OF A CALL CENTER AGENT
I've worked in this industry for 6 years but really not my thing. I've always wanted to lead so now I have my own clients. But, can't be more thankful for learning so much from BPO.
I hope our company is somehow like that to give recognition to agents who are deserving and really worked hard
Kudos for this video Miss Jen.
How po maging freelancer?
I once became a callcenter agent and swear isn't easy working as anyone thinking. I salute bayaning puyat ❤️
11 years in BPO. More than 2 years working from home. Best job ever!
Iba talaga kapag inlove Ate Jen 😍 Undeniably gorgeous and blooming ❤️
I love watching you showing me how BPO industry works...
Good job... done fullpacked...
I am currently a call center agent, and dream ko maging FA, studying, grabe parang Jen barangan journey. 😍

I'm so loving this! Thanks Jen for the mesaage❤️
Ka-well rounded jud nimo Jen uy! Such a fresh approach to the BPO industry. Love it! And I loove that Sat-Sun off sila! 💛💙
Found you! HAHAHAHA
Anyway, was Jen just trying to show and endorse the company? Or is she really working there?
@@CrislanieDelosReyes Clearly, she just showed the life of a call center. But to answer your question she’s not employed with SVC. 🙂
Been planning to apply again in a BPO Company and this is just another push that I need 😍🥰
Wow..it is amazing that u were able to document it as it was never allowed..Good job Ms.Jen..
It's okay to overthink. Just prepare and go for it! Good luck!
Go for it! You can actually try looking for a non voice account such as chat, email and back office but if you wanted to go for a voice account, you can always do your best and one day you will get used to it. Just practice and free your mind for every calls.
you can try non-voice :)
It’s part of being a newbie. But you’ll get the hang of it. Nobody starts out being outstanding. Allow yourself to stutter, you’ll learn from it. You’ll be your confident self in no time 😊
We are hiring tho.
♥️
Thank you Jen! Salute sa mga bayaning puyat! ♥️ AJAH!
Oommmmmgggg , welcome back po sa bpo industry ate jen. So happy po for you, olive juice po. But before that ngayon lang din po ako nakakita ng best company that concerns po sa mental health and physical being po. Ingat po palagi sa work and enjoy. I always support u po 2yrs of being fan. 🥺💯
Aww, thank you sa support ♥️
Hello Miss Jen been working as a callcenter agent before and seeing your vlog inspires all the BPO agents. I also miss my previous work as an agent.. Nice kay ang SVc.
This makes me miss the industry. I left the BPO industry 7 years ago and I def miss the environment and the friends I made.
I was asking for a sign to pursue my dream job to work in a BPO and your vlog appears in my fyp. So this is it, I will continue to dream until I become one ❤️💪
employee of SVC and all she said were true. 💯
Pa refer :)
Yaaas! 💯💯💯
i super duper love this vlog, im from bpo before as well and even though im not working there anymore, but most of my life was with bpo, i met my husband there, i invested car and house because of the bpo, thank you ms. jen
Love the content ate Jen. 7years working in BPO industry ❤️❤️
Yes nakakamiss din mag work sa bpo, yung ibat ibang mood ng callers 😁😁 samahan mo pa ng mga kalog na teammates . Thank you Ms.Jen for sharing this . God bless and stay safe 🙂
Hello workmate! Proud SVC employee here. Wa gyud ko ka pa pic kay on call pero saw you sa Ops - gwapa gyud ♥️♥️♥️
You are the type of person that I idolized the most, because ur so good in speaking English fluently and you motivate us to be positive and I admired u for that idol Jen, Godbless.
I was once a call center agent and the experience was great and memorable. I'm now working as a VA. 😊
Wow p refer nmn po
Hi, san ka po nag apply to become a VA? Did you avail a paid training?
Same hehe.
same here :)
This is such great content and super effective marketing and recruitment strategy! Galing! Loved the execution too very relaxed and easy to watch. ❤
I must say that the company/account you advertised is really into employee engagement. They know how to take care of their employees. I'd say yes to that company in a heartbeat if I'm only residing in Cebu, regrettably, I'm here in Manila. I've been to Cebu once and was able to visit IT park. If I may ask, is the account GY or Dayshift?
Kaway kaway sa mga bayaning puyat 😍 working in a BPO industry for about 4 yrs. now 🥰 & still counting... laban lang 💪
Ms. Jen!! I just came back in working in BPO again after being an ESL instructor for 6 years. It feels surreal!
Ano po maganda? Esl teaching or doing call center job
How was it po compare to ESL.
@@krislynkylecuyos7501they have their own ups and downs. Sa ESL, mauubos energy mo sa kaka entertain sa students. Sa Call Center, pwedeng transactional voice lang kaso may irate customers na kailangan icater at yung energy ay mauubos din
Very interesting. I’m an American born Filipino and always seem to get connected to a call center in the Philippines. Love the work environment. Best to you! 🙂🇵🇭
Loud and proud from SVC here ❤️❤️
🥰🥰🥰
wowww!! its a dream come true to document a life of a call center talaga. 🎉💛
I really love watching and listening to you Miss Jen! 💚
Ang swerte naman ng mga colleagues ni Ate Jen!!! 😭❤️
Mas ok sa bpo kesa local. I work as an accounts assistant/bookkeeper sa bpo. Mas ok ang mga boss hindi toxic kasi ibang lahi. Wala silang authoritarian mindset. They treat you as an equal with respect. Happy ako kasi mabait boss namin. I work 6am to 3pm PH Ttime kasi Australian mga clients.
Isa pa, salary wise mas malaki magpasweldo sa bpo.
One of the best working experience I've ever had. Keep the fire burning guys..
So happy for SVC! Congrats Jen
Omg. I am on nostalgic while watching this because the i1 building has been my 2nd home for 1yr and 8mos and was my first BPo company. It was Convergys back then. ❤️Thanks for doing this vlog Ms Jen ❤️❤️❤️
After watching your video i’ve realized that i can be a call center without any experience of it. The only im afraid of working this kind of industry is that I don’t have the confidence to speak english because im afraid people would judge me 😅😢 but I really badly want to work in this industry to overcome my fears and to enhance my grammars and speaking fluent in english 😊
Former Call Center agent here at Foundever formerly known as "Sitel" here in the city of Puerto Princesa as a experienced call center agent I will gonna say it was a great experienced it really boost my confidence on how to solve the specific problem or specific concern of the customer. So for me it was great experienced I hope I can go back soon to the bpo company. Btw hi ate Jen Barangan
Oh how i miss the BPO life! Worked for BPO for 5 years and I never regretted those years!!
Best vlogger.. ✨
Apaka natural mo po mag vlog. 💚
Worked in the BPO industry for 2+ years. Cheers! 🙌🙌🙌
Wow iba talaga kapag sikat😲 I love the way you speak Jen so nice and confidently beautiful ❤️
I applied as a call center agent before and i got rejected. I’m sad honestly and thankful at the same time since i was able to experience being interviewed. That was the first time I applied and got interviewed. I’m still planning to apply until i hear the words “ you’re hired!”. I really love this job. I know I’ll be happy having this as my job soon. Looking forward for that day. I’ll apply again and again and again. I’ll use the rejection as my motivation to move forward. Puhoooon Lord puhon gonna try this. 🙏🏼
Applied 9 times before and got rejected, but now been working already for 3 years in a bpo. Advice is don't quit you'll get there.
I would suggest that you take the interviewer's advice to your heart. And learn from it.
It's okay milani. In times that we are being rejected for something good is actually redirecting us to something better. So don't put down your cap yet, keep the fire burning!
Kaya mo yan I've been there before
Hi, how are you today?
