I met him on Camp Pendleton when he was signing his book. I brought him every fight he ever had on DVDs and asked him to sign his favorite fight for my uncle. He signed his fight with Duran and joked how some fights I had were tough. He’s a true sportsman.
I went to Ray’s two public workouts for his third pro fight in Hartford, CT. He was absolutely awesome. I remember thinking he shouldn’t be allowed in the ring..too much for another human being. He was that powerful and quick. It’s crazy that so much time has passed. It’s beautiful that he still has his health.

George Foreman proved that at 45 he could win the heavy weight title back and against a fighter (MM) who if around today would probably be able to beat all the heavyweights out there, remember Foreman was still beating guys at 50 ! I always remember when he fought Shannon Briggs won the fight but didn't get the decision ! Why ? Because the WBC were scared stiff that he would have gone on to be number one contender for Lennox Lewis belt and we all know what happens when you throw a heavy right at Lennox Lewis ! But Leonard is my 2nd favourite middle weight fighter and Tyson is my favourite heavy weight. Yep yep I even put him above Ali, in the heavy weight division, when Tyson was in his prime. I believe that a fighter should only be judged when they were in their prime !

Leonard in his prime would crush Mayweather. He was faster than Floyd with his hands AND his feet, he had what seemed like an endless gas tank, and he hit twice as hard. Also way, way better at throwing combinations plus he'd have a height/reach advantage.
