Hey guys! This video is a re-upload because the original version of this episode was no longer viewable. We’ll be posting these re-uploads every Saturday for the next few months. There are still NEW sins videos every Tuesday and Thursday!
3 weeks ago? Whaaa?
Nani
Oh, wow
CinemaSins cool
Okay
2:33 AFRICAN Tiger??? They are from Asia!!!!! the film is set in india!!!
Same thought... DING!
Ding
Unless he’s referring to his voice actor.
Are there Bears in India?
@Blue Sky yep. Sloth bears, sun bears, Asiatic black bears, and brown bears.
2:33 "African Tiger".... after mentioning it's in an Indian jungle. I never thought I would want to sin Cinema Sins but here I am.
Ding!
I seem to remember that when this video was first uploaded there were also many, many comments to this effect. They had a chance to edit it out... I dunno if not taking that chance means they're idiots or they have the integrity to own their mistakes :P
Yeah.
Rami have you heard of "Th3 Birdman" 🤔
Bear with me here: I think it was on purpose.
i just realized that Mowgli has not ever stepped on a sharp object
Or seemingly been bitten by all the thousands of invertebrates in the rainforests.
Shoes make human feet soft and weak. If you spent all of your time barefoot you'd be numb to most things underfoot unless it was something definitely sharp like a plant thorn or something, not something just uncomfortable like gravel or whatever.
Deborah Shaw sis i’m only 14
no. no they do not. they are a snake and that is why they don't understand feet. after all, no HUMAN could be THAT dumb.@Deborah Shaw
m8 I'm 13. even I know that.@@kaivonnix1100
Actually, honey is an antibacterial and can help with skin irritation and swelling, so it is actually a good candidate to putting on bug stings and bites. I rubbed honey on my wasp sting a few months ago and it helped tremendously (as well as toothpaste surprisingly...)
Yes, I think I heard this on another site's top 10 list. It's sometimes mixed with powdered sulfur, according to Old Wives and Old Soldiers. Good catch!
Exactly, Manuka honey is awesome for preventing infection in open wounds.
Thaaank you!
He made a mistake on that score. One sin off. _gnid_

Cinemasins you get a sin for saying African tiger. Tigers don’t live in Africa and the story is taking place in India. Lol
Can't be India. None of the people in the man-village are working in international call-centres as legitmate, if ineffective, customer support nor trying to convince me they are from Windows and despite my computer being off, claim they scanned my computer and have found unspecifically malicious software on it. Always found it funny none of them have realised Windows is the product name, not the company who owns Windows (Microsoft) and even if Windows was a company they'd address themselves with a departmental title like Windows Customer Support or Windows Technical Assistance, not Windows by itself.
PlebNC well this story takes way before that was invented
Disney CGI is shit. Heck even I was confused about the continent this movie takes place in. Just one Transformer movie is way better than all the Disney movies combined.
@@frosttyrant9222 the “continent” um ok I guess you didn’t see the 100s of a inked running around.
@@Javier-mp2vg Well I don't think white wolves live in The Indian Subcontinent either. what Disney showed is bullshit. Thats gotta be the most rational sin of this movie.
It wasn't a Bald Eagle, it's a Brahminy Kite!
Also African Tiger?
CinemaSins Sin counter: 2
Plus open bee stings and honey not being a first aid item: two more!
Ding!
Ding!
It's clearly a Bald Eagle. Quit reaching
America has colonized India now

I...actually really liked this movie.Didn't think I would, but I did.
So did I
The real question is: Why didn't the panther eat the boy when he first found him?
Because movie
The most famous meme on UA-cam at the moment
he said that... no need to repeat statements from the vid
wait it isn't?
Hello comment god
you said something about the snake “seducing” mowgli and that it shouldnt be happening because hes only nine. however, i dont think she was being sexual. she was talking in a calm and soothing voice. she sounded like a mother trying to sooth her baby. she was promising to keep him safe and her voice basically lulled him into a hypnotic-type state. it was the opposite of anything sexual.
It a joke because it voiced by Scar Jo.
I always found it frustrating in both the animated and live-action film they made Kaa a villain. Kaa was actually a dear friend to Mowgli....and the mispronunciation of Mowgli’s name, but I’m probably just being petty now ^o^
Seduction doesn't have to be sexual.
To be fair, the actual definition of seduction is simply the process of enticing someone. Granted, it is usually via sexual means, but not always. Think about Palpatine and Anakin. Nothing sexual there, but Palps still seduced Annie to the dark side by promising him power.
@@Succubus2Angel
Yeah, that always bugged me too. I watched this with my dad after we had just finished reading The Jungle Book together and when it got to the Cold Lair scene I told him, "This would be a very good time to have a giant snake on their side! Too bad the one in this movie's bad."
You get 2 sins yourself at 0:58 and at 2:33 for calling a Sea Eagle a Bald Eagle and for calling an Bengal Tiger an African Tiger. Should I add another sin for not understanding this takes place in India, not Africa? Yeah, screw it, 3rd sin added.
Uncommon Gaming it’s a brahemy kite not a sea eagle
He says what is a bald eagle doing in an Indian jungle
"He can just sit on Sher Kan and that would be the end of it" Oml I died of laughter
I mean it's ok, it's not like there gonna make a lion king remake for no reason because there's no people in it or anything... wait
Honey was used by ancient egyptians as antiseptic. Also XDDDDDDDDDDDDD DISCOUNT NED STARK IS BEAR. I died with that.
5:46 I mean, Mowgli's actor was 12 here, and 12-year olds _are_ hormonal freaks...
That wasnt a bald eagle, that was a brahmany kite
Exactly! Thank you for pointing it out. I was searching for any comments on this or else I was going to point it out myself!
The CinemaSins chap is pretty ignorant about anything outside of the USA tbh.
@@JohnyG29 most Americans are like that.
As soon as I saw that, I assumed a fish eagle, as they look similar. I'm not as sharp on ornithology as mammology, but I knew someone would point that out. The real problem is claiming Baloo is a sloth bear, when he obviously isn't.
Thank you. I was going to say that it was a brahminy kite. It doesn't even look like a bald eagle, lol.
_It ain't even a book smh_
Actually it's the first three chapters of a book. The whole book is a lot longer with more stories like riki tiki tavi
@@tenkz961able No, those are other stories by Kipling, not part of the Jungle Book (or its sequel).
@@GriffinWolf i know. But the entire thing is called the jungle book. It's just a large book with stories from India
@@GriffinWolf the Disney movies just focus on the first three chapters of the actual book with its name
@@GriffinWolf The book is arranged with a story in each chapter. Each story is followed by a poem that serves as an epigram.
Chapter one is titled mowgli's brothers. Chapter two outs called kaa's hunting. And three is called Tiger! Tiger!. And that's it for the story of Mowgli. After that is the white seal. Then rikki tikki tavi. Then toomai of the elephants. So as per i said it's not only about mowgli it's a collection of stories titled the jungle book. Disney just used the name for ease not accuracy.
_"Thats why i entrusted him to the wolves"_
and for some reason they didnt immediately eat him
There are no cases where a wolf has eaten a human.
@@blackshadow49xyz48 First of all, Bullshit. Second, Wolves are afraid of people.
This is actually something in the books - killing humans is specifically forbidden (because of fear of retribution).
You should do Everything Wrong With Mean Girls
Yeeeees please do this!!
There’s nothing wrong with mean girls. It’s perfect.
You roasted this more than the "Red Flower" did the forest..

2:19 2 sins for CinemaSin
1) Bagheera explains how they created The Jungle in the dialogue that follows.
2) Jeremy has never heard of mythology.
“The Oscar-winning, revolutionary and groundbreaking CGI has slightly off lighting for 3 frames. 100 sins!”
Cinema sins wants Mowgli in the buff for sheer logic and accuracy but doesn't mention that orangutans aren't actually 30 feet tall. Mmmmmk. Odd choice of priorities, just sayin.
He's not meant to be an orangutan, he's a gigantopithecus. Still too big though.
@@sarochiel Still odd choice tho, cuz he's always been an orangutan in the book and the animated film. I guess they wanted him to be more threatening in this one.
@@itsmorgyntime He wasn't in the book
He waa still my favorite part of the movie
@@itsmorgyntime orangutans don't live in India, so they decided it would be better to make him an extinct specie
This CGI looks amazing and yes I was believe this movie was an excuse to show this off
*Called the jungle book*
_No books were featured in this movie_
DING
Ehhh, I feel like it's hard to take the CGI sins seriously on this one. This movie won the Oscar for visual effects that year, and I can honestly see why.
Seriously, if I didn’t know better I would have thought they were real animals
2:33 There are no Tigers in Africa. Come on guys you are better than this.
They really are not.
Ding!
Movie's set in India, not Africa.
I didn't know that but, this movie takes place in India.
Don't tell the kid that, of course there are tigers in Africa.
0:14
“This movie exists”
Hey wasn’t that his first sin from his first video?
8:30: To be fair, Baloo and Bagheera are a male bear, and a male panther, neither of which would have any clue on how to take care of cubs, man- or otherwise.
Thank you for all the videos!!
What sucks is that this is actually one of the greatest Disney rebanks.
10:25
“Eehhh. My petard is getting hoisted!”
-Waluigi
12:25 best part of the video 😂😂😂😂
6:19 did anyone else notice the Spike Jonze cameo?
The real fun thing about this story is the source material. In the actual book mogli was taken back to the man village and they shunned him. Heck the villagers actively tried to kill him because they thought he was some kind of wild jungle devil boy. He escaped, talked to all of his animal friends and they came back to the man village and destroyed it! Killing every human there! I always thought this was an odd story for disney to make pc
Everything wrong with homes and Watson

Why, after watching Sherlock do I find this comment? 😂😂
This channel is great you guys are lucky you guys are making a living of watching movies and making fun of them that would be heaven to me
The best thing about you and this....lack of ads, you're a beast dude
8:53 Kipling explains this: the animals fear fire so much that they won't even call it by its name. Also people have referred to orange as red for a long time. Think of "Red" Foxes or "Red"-Tailed Hawks. Perception of color can easily be affected by things like language. In fact, the color orange is named after the fruit, which was not known to English-speakers until probably the 1400s.
CinemaSins,
In regards to your remark at time stamp 2:34, there is no such thing as an “African” tiger.
Dennis Stevenson and everyone commenting on this, he’s being sarcastic, Idris Elba voices the Tiger. Idris being of African decent and not Indian - hope that clears this up.
I love listening to you do these you rock. I can't wait for next one. I watch them over and over lol
This was great I loved it. Keep it up!

Honestly, this CGI is gorgeous compared to the Netflix version lol, you need to sin that one in the future!
Facts
12:35 almost killed me. Great choice!
nice to see this back up another classic if you ask me
Why does everything have to be live-action nowadays?
this ones not even fully live-action, all the animals are cgi.
Because it’s none of your business
@ジャン Because I said so.
@ジャン I’m not being mean I’m just being sarcastic and funny. I apologize if it was conveyed that way.
Should have given a bonus for Scarlett Johansson voicing the python cuz I've got to admit if there's any voice that is hypnotizing it's hers
Also a sin for how worse Deviantart got when Scarjo did that scene :/
Good thing we can watch movies on UA-cam without copyright.
Thank you!
Hahaha thinking about Idris Elba having intense personal issues with the little kid playing Mogli and refusing to be on-set with him
1:27
Well, tigers, bears, and wolves are pretty territorial animals, and since we never actually see the entire jungle in its entirety (big ol’ orange monkey mentioned something about sections and cardinal directions and whatnot) we can assume that there ARE other bears and cats and etc in other parts, minding their own business and their own territory.
Also, sinning you for not sinning the fact that they had a f*cking grizzly bear in the jungle.
Oops, I guess I already commented, oh well.
That's not a grizzly bear that's a brown bear
Balloo isn't either a grizzly or brown bear. He's a Sloth Bear

Including a Groundhog's Day bit in the audio outtakes on Groundhog's Day, well done.
hey guys , I love you , i'm watching/listening to all of your content and i'm anjoying every moment .
can you please tell me why for a year or so your re-uploading old content ?
p.s. love your "CinemaSins" and "sincast" keep on the good work
You think bees cause open wounds? Really?
Gee, I never knew that---because it's bit true. I stepped on a bumblebee when I was 6 years old and my mom got a pair of tweezers out of her purse to remove the stinger. She put an ice cube on it and all that was left the next day was a red mark that disappeared completely the one after that. But considering he called it "an African tiger..." we'll sin him several times.
@@oldenweery7510
Google image search "open wound." (warning it is NOT PRETTY)
was Lilo and stitch ever done?
Watching this made me remember the animated TV show I watched as a kid and I looked it up on Netflix and it is still there. Time for a nostalgia trip!
Any time I need a laugh, I can count on cinemasins and eskify to deliver
Here's an extra sin, how is it that they refer to fire as "red flower," but they know what propaganda is
What I meant was "How are they too primitive to know what fire is called but they're smart enough to know what propaganda is?"
@@iminsidethewalls8141
They know what it is (I think Louie says, "what I desire is man's red fire" in this, just like in the 60s movie). They just don't like to mention it by name because they're really scared of it. Basically it's like how some people will only say "heck" or "H. E. double-hockey-sticks".
If it was called the Jungle Book why did they make a movie about it
That's...actually a really good question.
Because we're too stupid to read books now so movies

4:25 Meet the Robinsons
I love how he says one thing on this channel and another in the other channel
You forgot the part where in the original cartoon Mogli gets lured into the man village by the power of boners, despite his inability to have them at his age, whereas in this version, that ending is completely scrapped, and Mogli stays in the jungle
Them: Look of for man's red flower!
Me: *Look out for the CGI rose!*
The fact that they didnt include Winfrey (the female elephant and the baby elephants mom) makes it worse

I can't even see Baloo. All I see is Garfield.
The annimated version is still better, but I like this too
Ironic since this is animated too lmao
Err this is animated as well though. 😂😂😂
Yes, although it is basically unknown in the west because of the first Disney adaptation with singing animals in it.
'what do you think they're talking about?'
'The Cullens.'
xD
I love the fact that this kid can just band two rocks together and get a sharp one instantly
My biggest issue with these movies is what they did to Kaa. In the BOOK, Kaa is an ally to Mowgli, not to mention the child is IMMUNE to his hypnosis because he's human. I get that the vilification of snakes is carried over from the animated version, but why the gender swap? It feels like they just wanted to get one more big name actor into it, and when they got Scarlett, they went "Well, everyone and his brother creams his shorts over you, fuck the source material and just be sexy, that's what Hollywood pays you for."
You should also do mowgoli legend of the jungle it’s a completely different take on the Disney film and more like the original book
He'd find a LOT more to sin - the ugly animals and overacted performances...
Kinda early on Cinemasins? My life is now complete
I have been a fan for a long time but the reference to Something Rotten has granted you my eternal loyalty
